Jack the Ripper Tour
Very easy to find group in park before tour begins. Easy walk from underground tube station to park, was approximately 5-6 minutes. We did the tour at night when it was dark. This played into the spookiness of the subject and surroundings. I highly recommend doing the night tour vs day tour. The only recommendations we have is at the end of tour tell the guests how to get back to the starting point. At the end of our tour it was a goodbye and that was it. We didn’t end the tour at the starting point. We looked around and everyone was kind of wondering where we were and how to get back to the underground. People left and a couple of us stayed back. We asked the tour guide and she realized this and said she should probably end the tour with directions to underground or restaurant/bar recommendations near to where we were at. We had our 13 year old with us. The subject matter is somewhat sinister but what was shown or said during the tour wasn’t anything that scared her. I would probably not take a small child on the tour due to this but teens would be fine. It’s a lot of walking- cobblestone streets, uneven sidewalks, dodging sometimes traffic and bike riders. Some of the denser areas had crowded paths due to other tours going on at the same time. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves.

Outstanding tour of The Tower of London
Absolutely outstanding tour with Chris our “ Beefeater” Yeoman of the Guard. His knowledge and humour brought history to life. He ensured all could hear him. His interaction with all, including the children, made it a fun tour while he gave such amazing facts. Thank you Chris ….. I highly recommend taking this tour rather than walking around looking at the buildings. It’s an amazing place steeped in history. The Crown Jewels are not to be missed.

A fantastic insight to the Ripper and life in Victorian London
A fantastic walking tour around Whitechapel and the City of London, full of facts, clues and theories on who the Ripper may have been (keep in mind the identity was never proven), and the story of each victim. The walk is at a steady pace, and along the way we learn about life in London and of the etymology of a number of phrases that came from life in the area at the time (hangover, for example). "murder" tours aren't usually my thing but I think this has triggered a new intrigue in learning about the dark history of cities

We had the pleasure to do...
We had the pleasure to do the SoHo Music and Historical Pubs tour today with Gherto and it was so much fun! Gherto is so knowledgeable and personable and he provided us with history about the pubs and stories about the musicians who frequented these establishments. Was a really good time!! 100% recommend.

With its ancient buildings, narrow streets, and centuries of dark history, London is the perfect backdrop for a spooky ghost tour experience. London ghost tours typically feature animated guides who tell tales of infamous figures like Jack the Ripper while leading you through historic neighborhoods and parks at the dead of night. You can choose from a range of travel options, from walking tours and vintage bus rides to boat tours along the Thames, making ghost tours a flexible and alternative way to explore the UK capital’s historic streets.
