Great Greenwich Boat Experience.

The short but interesting history of origins that come from the river and the 'Watermen' was great - and delivered so well (and humorously, by the staff, that even foreign visitors could understand many of the funny references. Some of the other passengers were not listening and were noisy - not very aware of other passengers who are listening. The boat was comfortable for that length of time trip and drinks and snacks and toilets were available. You can hop on and off at various points along the way. So much to see and hear!

This was a great day and great tour. Seeing the palace was a great highlight of the day. Our tour guide Sandra did an awesome job giving us a wealth of information on the way there and on the way back. She took us to some interesting places in Cotswold as well. My wife and I booked this tour to see the Christmas lights but also gain some education about the building and history of the city. We’ve been to London almost 10 times but mainly follow our own tours. We were not disappointed! We learned quite a bit about the history, LOVED the lights and appreciated that Emma was able to wave some personal stories into her narrative. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone and will book if we’re back in London for the festive period in the future.

Outstanding tour!

What a delightful tour. Richard was an outstanding guide and shared a wealth of information about Dickens and his life in London. A Christmas Carol came to life as he wove the story together with actual London sites. Great tour especially at Christmas time. The tour time was a bit longer than noted only because Richard took the time to stop if people on the tour needed a quick break or wanted to stop for photos at one of the iconic phonebooths. And the old church/now turned into a coffee house was quite an interesting place for a quick break as well as Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Pub! Highly recommend this tour for a most interesting tour of old London.
