Great Walking Tour in East London Learning All About the Notorious Jack the Ripper!

Myself and my 2 adult children booked this excursion during our visit to London. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Our tour was booked for the evening at 7:30pm, which I highly recommend doing this Jack the Ripper walking tour at night. It's more eerie to walk the streets of London at night learning all about the notorious Jack the Ripper. Our Tour guide was AMAZING! We learned so much on this walking tour from him, details we never knew about the history of Jack the Ripper. Our Tour guide was courteous, well-spoken and, most importantly, a true historian and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE in his expertise about Jack the Ripper. The use of the Ripper Vision was a bonus. To see the images from that century was even more fascinating. It was our favorite tour/excursion on our 4 days visiting London and if you enjoy spooky history and don't mind walking for 90 minutes around the streets of London, I highly recommend this tour.

Pub crawl with good company and good stories

The whole tour was fantastic and there were really some good stories and hidden gems around in SOHO. We had the pleasure of Ben as our guide, who really made the tour special with his great commitment and strange nature. We cannot recommend this pub crawl enough!

A Wonderful Informative Tour of English Countryside

A wonderful well-organized tour of Cotswolds and Bleinheim Palace. A tour's quality often depends on the tour guide. Our friendly tour guide, Phil, who embodies an English country gentleman, was a professor of knowledge who provided informative commentary not only on what we were seeing but also on other aspects of life in England. A great day seeing the English countryside with plenty of stops for refreshments and stretching of legs. Highly recommend.

Our Favorite Tour!

The pub tour with Wil was, by far, our most favorite part of our entire trip! Such a cool experience walking around parts of the city we would have never discovered on our own. Wil was the perfect tour guide, giving us interesting bits of history as we walked from one pub to the next. Great pubs! Great people! Great guide! Highly recommend!

We had a great tour guide...

We had a great tour guide called Louis, and the tour ended up being just 2 of us because no one else booked that time slot! Louis was so kind and told us interesting facts about Harry Potter and London in general. It was so fun watching the movie clips on the iPad as he showed us each spot around the city. He went out of his way to show us places he mentioned the tour, too. We would definitely do this again!

An incredible day

What can I say? This day was a moment of pure happiness. We discovered this magnificent city of Oxford, the village from Downton Abbey, and finally the wonderful Highclere Castle. We had a great time on this tour. We made several stops to see filming locations throughout the journey so if you are not a fan of the show, you may be underwhelmed by this tour. The tour culminated in a self guided tour of Highclere which is set up exactly like it is in the show so again, fans will enjoy this. The only thing I would change would be the timing. I felt like this could include one more stop in the Cotswolds unrelated to Downton Abbey and just for sightseeing somewhere beautiful. We spent too much time in some locations.

Emma was Amazing!

My wife and I booked this tour to see the Christmas lights but also gain some education about the building and history of the city. We’ve been to London almost 10 times but mainly follow our own tours. We were not disappointed! We learned quite a bit about the history, LOVED the lights and appreciated that Emma was able to wave some personal stories into her narrative. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone and will book if we’re back in London for the festive period in the future.

Outstanding tour!

What a delightful tour. Richard was an outstanding guide and shared a wealth of information about Dickens and his life in London. A Christmas Carol came to life as he wove the story together with actual London sites. Great tour especially at Christmas time. The tour time was a bit longer than noted only because Richard took the time to stop if people on the tour needed a quick break or wanted to stop for photos at one of the iconic phonebooths. And the old church/now turned into a coffee house was quite an interesting place for a quick break as well as Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Pub! Highly recommend this tour for a most interesting tour of old London.
