Uncover Lisbon on a two-hour walking tour through four neighbourhoods: Bairro Alto, Carmo, Chiado, and Cais do Sodré. You’ll see Lisbon chronologically, from the empire, the devastating 1755 earthquake, and the revolution, to the vibrant city locals love today. Begin at the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, then step inside the Igreja de São Roque, one of the few buildings to survive the earthquake. Stand in the square where Europe’s longest dictatorship ended, take in stunning views from the Carmo rooftop, and see the iconic Santa Justa Lift before heading to Chiado. Visit the world’s oldest operating bookshop, and stop by A Brasileira, the café once frequented by poet Fernando Pessoa, then hear stories of Portuguese exploration, poetry, and empire at Praça de Camões. End in Cais do Sodré, stroll Pink Street, and enjoy a freshly baked pastel de nata at Time Out Market. Four neighbourhoods. Ten stops. One unforgettable story of Lisbon in just two hours. Are you ready?
