What are people saying about Halifax

Great experience.
Great day of learning about Halifax and the region. Justine our guide made sure we learned a lot and was generous with her knowledge.
Both places worth visiting for insight into the great east coast of Nova Scotia.
Would absolutely recommend.
Thanks to Anchor Tours for getting my much beloved hat back to me that I left in the van!

Windy day sailing!
Absolutely amazing! We were sailing on a windy day! Amazing captain, and first mate that were highly educated and gave a beautiful talking, in addition to sailing the boat and teaching us how to sail. Brought out comfy warm blankets to wrap up in, while we took in The view. "

Peggy’s Cove, Citadel and Titanic cemetery.
Throughly enjoyed Peggy’s Cove! Beautiful doesn’t even begin to describe it. Could have set there all day! Titanic cemetery was very moving. Izzy told us why the stones were marked the way they were. Pointed out certain stones. Citadel was great so much history. Watched the rifle demonstration and then the bagpipes band marched. Was awesome and highly recommend this tour.

A fun way to get to know...
A fun way to get to know the city and where to find places to visit later on. We enjoyed it so much. Our tour guides Lucy and Jeff were very knowledgeable, funny and just amazing. We love the tidbits of history thrown in and the stories. So worth it for the experience!!

Great Tour!
Our trip was awesome thanks to our driver/guide Hunter. He shared so much information with us and was flexible in our time spent at Peggy’s Cove and the Titanic Cemetery. Our boat was late in docking but the tour waited on us. Thank you! Both the sites we visited were interesting. Great trip.

It’s about an hour to...
It’s about an hour to Peggy’s Cove, an hour there, another hour to Lunenburg, two hours there, about 45 mins to the Titanic Cemetery, 15 mins there and then about 15 mins back to the drop off area.
Agnes was great - lots of cool history and facts to learn about. The van is small but fits 12 people. Wish we had more time at Peggy’s Cove.
With how much you get to see and learn about, and the fact it’s a smaller tour, I think the price is worth it.

Sunset cruise
We booked the sunset cruise for 8 of us gals on a bachelorette party. We showed up on time so seats were tricky to get but we ended up hanging out on the top deck which was cooler and likely, more fun. The drinks were quick and tasty and the crew get you involved in hoisting the sails! Was a great time.

Perfect for First-Time and Experienced Anglers
was an amazing experience from start to finish! The crew was welcoming, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable, whether it was their first time fishing or not. They were knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to help. The scenery was beautiful, and spending time out on the ocean made the trip even more memorable. I caught fish, learned a few new things, and had a great time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Halifax who wants a fun and authentic experience on the water.

Great express stop!
Great express tour to Peggy’s Cove, our guide Omar was amazing, provided lots of insights and info on Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and NS overall. It was a fantastic 4 hours spent on site, highly recommended. The Lobster Rolls and ice cream were delicious. Don’t hesitate, book the tour and ask for Omar!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Day with Evan – The Highlight of Our Nova Scotia Trip!
We joined the June 1st Small Group Tour to Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, the Annapolis Valley, and the Bay of Fundy, and all we can say is: WOW!
Our guide, Evan, went absolutely above and beyond from start to finish. It was an absolute pleasure spending the day with him. His knowledge is simply incredible — honestly, it felt like there wasn't a single topic he couldn't talk about. History, local culture, nature, photography, food, hidden gems — you name it, Evan knew it.
What impressed us most was not just how much he knows, but the passion he brings to every story. He shared so many fascinating local stories and insights that there's simply no way you would ever hear unless you were talking to someone who has dedicated years of his life to learning and sharing them. That passion made all the difference and turned a great tour into an extraordinary experience.
The entire day flew by in the blink of an eye! Evan also gave us countless recommendations for places to visit during the rest of our trip, which we greatly appreciated.
We visited beautiful places including Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, the Bay of Fundy, and many other stunning locations. Along the way, we enjoyed some of the best lobster we've ever had in our lives, delicious local ice cream, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable memories.
And then came the biggest surprise!
As a special bonus, completely outside of the regular tour itinerary, Evan took us on what felt like a mini photography adventure. We were incredibly lucky to see a real Bald Eagle nest, including the eagle and its babies! It was such a magical moment and something we never expected to experience. Moments like that simply cannot be planned, and Evan made it happen.
To top it all off, he gave us a Polaroid photo as a keepsake. Such a unique and thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special.
We could keep going, but we don't want to spoil everything. 😊
If you're considering this tour, stop thinking and just book it. Evan made this one of the best travel experiences we've ever had, and we will remember it for years to come.
Thank you, Evan, for an amazing day and unforgettable memories!
With love and gratitude,

Don't miss this - especially if you have kids!
Sailing experience not to be missed! Ryan and Colin were fantastic. The boat offered a stunning view of Nova Scotia. Our kids learned so much and were able to do a ton of the sailing tasks. The captain and the assistant captain were fun, knowledgeable, and really let us get involved.

JFarwell Tour- Amazing Experience! July 30, Lindsay & Mike
Captain Andrew and Deckhand Ali were incredible. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable in various areas (wines offered, local information, and some Nova Scotia history). The experience was amazing- the views, wine/charcuterie, and overall vibes were spectacular!

Haligonians love to show visitors around their hometown, so there are plenty of Halifax tours. Follow your guide to catch the sunset from Peggy’s Cove, home to what locals say is Canada’s most photographed lighthouse. Or, head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg or the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where you can see the graves of 121 Titanic victims. Meanwhile, in Annapolis Valley, guides know where to find the best wineries, and at historic Halifax Harbour, they’ll have you helping a boat crew hoist the sails. Refuel on fresh seafood chowder during a culinary-themed walking tour.
