What are people saying about Halifax

Covers a lot in one day
Well organized tour. Great communication with Alpha tours keeping us informed. The guide was excellent giving us just enough information but not overwhelming us. Very professional company. Peggy's Cove can be quite crowded but Lunenberg is really a delight in a great place to eat lunch. And you definitely need the experience of seeing the graves of some of the passengers on the Titanic.

The one thing you absolutely need to do in Halifax
This is the very best way to see downtown Halifax and the harbor in a short period of time. The whole tour is only about an hour but you cover a tremendous amount of territory. If there's one thing to do in Halifax this is it!. The company is very organized and the tour host is very good. A lot of information in a short period of time.

Amazing Sail of Halifax Harbour!
The captain and co captain, Angela and Luke were amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, full of great history and they were very friendly. They were able to answer all the questions the passengers asked during the trip. With a max of 12 passengers it was very intimate. I would highly this sail!!!

Interesting Adventure
Carly and Jeff were waiting at the pier when we disembarked the ship. Carly was our tour guide and was very personable and informative with a lot of knowledge about the area and very specific insider details about the Titanic passengers and recovery efforts. I would recommend this tour to others.

Great day! Ad needs more explanation though.
It was a great trip to the Island. The things they should elaborate on is the check in isn’t at 1715 Lower Water Street. It is right next to the cows ice cream shop on the water front. That address is also on the ticket. Eliminate the 1715 address. The other thing is I wish the tour ad explained that you can spend as much or as little time on the island. The boat comes and goes throughout the day dropping off and picking up.

Awesome
A small boat is the best way to experience Halifax harbour. Those big boat with 100+ cannot provide the same. On a small boat your with the captain in the cockpit and close to the water. When your sailing you only hear yourselves and the water rushing by, marvelous experience. You can have drinks and there is no line up for the head🤪. Recommend👍

We very much enjoyed our...
We very much enjoyed our ride through Halifax. Our guide safely guided the group of 6 riders on a couple of short road sections. Most of the ride was either on park gravel paths or bike lanes. We made all the planned stops including a timely arrival at the Citadel for the noon cannon shot and changing of the guards.

Friendly and informative
We were a small group of four in total. Our host was motivated and very friendly. The Mercedes van was comfortable. We started by visiting the Citadel, followed by Peggy’s Cove and finally the cemetery when Titanic victims rest. The visit to each site was fairly brief but allowed enough time to take in the experience. We may return to Peggy’s Cove again to explore more.

10/10 Day
Such a wonderful tour— very glad I decided to choose the tour with Lunenburg as well.
Tour guide was AMAZING. So knowledgeable and it felt like I was hanging out with a friend all day who knew a LOT about Nova Scotia.
Nothing sounded forced or rehearsed, just telling stories.
Peggy’s Cove & Lunenburg were obviously incredible.

Really fun sailing...
Really fun sailing adventure! It was a small group of 10 people and all very nice. The Capt and 1st mate were great! There were 4 glasses of wines to try and we learned a lot about the wineries they came from. Also there was a great charcuterie board as well! The weather was perfect too!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Day with Evan – The Highlight of Our Nova Scotia Trip!
We joined the June 1st Small Group Tour to Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, the Annapolis Valley, and the Bay of Fundy, and all we can say is: WOW!
Our guide, Evan, went absolutely above and beyond from start to finish. It was an absolute pleasure spending the day with him. His knowledge is simply incredible — honestly, it felt like there wasn't a single topic he couldn't talk about. History, local culture, nature, photography, food, hidden gems — you name it, Evan knew it.
What impressed us most was not just how much he knows, but the passion he brings to every story. He shared so many fascinating local stories and insights that there's simply no way you would ever hear unless you were talking to someone who has dedicated years of his life to learning and sharing them. That passion made all the difference and turned a great tour into an extraordinary experience.
The entire day flew by in the blink of an eye! Evan also gave us countless recommendations for places to visit during the rest of our trip, which we greatly appreciated.
We visited beautiful places including Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, the Bay of Fundy, and many other stunning locations. Along the way, we enjoyed some of the best lobster we've ever had in our lives, delicious local ice cream, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable memories.
And then came the biggest surprise!
As a special bonus, completely outside of the regular tour itinerary, Evan took us on what felt like a mini photography adventure. We were incredibly lucky to see a real Bald Eagle nest, including the eagle and its babies! It was such a magical moment and something we never expected to experience. Moments like that simply cannot be planned, and Evan made it happen.
To top it all off, he gave us a Polaroid photo as a keepsake. Such a unique and thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special.
We could keep going, but we don't want to spoil everything. 😊
If you're considering this tour, stop thinking and just book it. Evan made this one of the best travel experiences we've ever had, and we will remember it for years to come.
Thank you, Evan, for an amazing day and unforgettable memories!
With love and gratitude,
Alex & Mary

Sunset cruise lots a fun
It was so exciting to see the crew put up the sails. The musician played great contemporary music. We tipped him. The bar was busy and everyone became friendlier after a glass or two. Also, the gangplank is a bit steep after a glass or two. The pier is easy to find and there are nice restaurants all around for dinner afterward.
