Top notch! Doug was a great tour guide. He had amazing history and stories to tell. Not boring at all. One of the best private tours we've done, and we do alot. Peggys Cove, Titanic cemetery, Citadel and the most beautiful Public Gardens. Easy, relaxed, done at our own pace. Water was available to us. He also took us to have one of the best lobster rolls ever! Highly recommend!!!

Loved Peggy's Cove (just...

Loved Peggy's Cove (just a bit too windy and cold for us Californian's), but over all a lovely place. The scenery on the drive there was beautiful with the change of seasons (fall color change). We were able to get a little history of the sinking of the Titanic by visiting the cemetery where some of the passengers were buried. Our guide was very informative and gave us insight to the background of some of those buried there.

Pleasant exploration of some Halifax sights

For us it was a worthwhile shore excursion just to see some of the sights outside of the port area. Our guide was very good, a smart and friendly young lady. The Mercedes van we traveled in was top notch. After the excursion, we really enjoyed a meal at the Five Fishermen in Halifax which was the highlight of our day.

Delightful Evening

Experience and entertainment amazing although it was a-bit cold so dress appropriately if taking a late afternoon cruise. The entertainment was Gary from Barrie wonderful musician and played one of his original songs. There was a lot of toe tapping to the music so you know it was good. The complimentary coffee was greatly appreciated. Hats and gloves would be an asset for a fall evening. Enjoy! Guests were allowed to participate in raising the sails.

Great tour of Halifax

This is a private tour so you can request where to go or rely on your driver to show you around. We did both, and our driver Anant was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. We visited the Gardens and Peggy's Cove and stopped for lunch of fish and chips (best ever) and lobster rolls at the Food Factory near the cove. We made several other stops for sightseeing.

Wonderful tour!

What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful day! Emre was a fantastic tour guide for the favorite foods of Halifax and the food and restaurant choices were great. The lobster roll, seafood chowder, donier, oysters and ice cream were all delicious and made us want to go back for more (but we didn’t because we were so full!). Highly recommend this tour.

Spectacular Coastline and Beautiful Towns

This trip was a wonderful way to see some of Nova Scotia's spectacular coastline and beautiful towns within easy reach of Halifax. There were only 4 of us booked on this trip, making it friendly and intimate. As well as a scenic drive in the comfort of a small SUV, we had plenty of time to explore Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, and Wolfville. Our guide, Ian, was very knowledgeable and interesting, as well as being a good driver, and his commentary added significantly to our enjoyment of the day. Although it was a long day, there was plenty of time to relax in the car. I would definitely recommend this company and this itinerary.

Quick trip to Peggy’s Cove

The trip to Peggy‘s Cove with Jay was very enjoyable. We saw beautiful coastline and learned a great deal about Nova Scotia and the area. Jay was informative and gave us suggestions as to where we might enjoy a lobster roll. We were allowed one hour and 45 minutes at Peggy’s Cove and that was long enough. This short tour is ideal when you are coming off the cruise ship and don’t want to spend the whole day touring the area. In total, it was about four hours.

A great day trip from Halifax!

A great day trip from Halifax to explore two beautiful towns in Nova Scotia! Starting in Lunenburg, we got just enough time to explore the local shops, cafes, art galleries and much more. Onto Peggy's Cove, breathe in the salty ocean air and enjoy a sweet treat. Our tour guide Nilah was so friendly, welcoming and shared so many facts about Nova Scotia. She took us through smaller towns to ensure we got the a more localized experience. Highly recommend if you're not renting a car during your visit.
