We were fortunate to take the Sunset Wine and Cheese tour this week. We had a great time sailing into the Northwest Arm and seeing a gorgeous sunset. Ryan was our captain and what great knowledge he shared on the many sites and he made sure part of the trip was by sailing. Alexandra was our deckhand, knowledgeable about wine and ensured we were enjoying ourselves. It was so great to see Ryan giving Alexandra instructions on a variety of things, he was so very supportive and gave great guidance. We had a most enjoyable time, thank you again to Ryan and Alexandra!

Ryan the captain and Mitch his first mate were excellent. The experience from beginning to end was exceptional. If you go to Halifax, I urge you to book this trip.

Truly the best time. It was my dad's 75th birthday, and the captain and crew went out of their way to make sure it was a memorable evening. Excellent sail, excellent service and a great way to see Halifax. A must do.

This was a wonderful sail through Halifax Harbor. Our captain, Ryan and first mate, Emerson, provided a fun, informative, and relaxing tour. The snacks and wine was great too! Overall, 5 stars out of 5 stars.

Captain Andrew and Deckhand Ali were incredible. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable in various areas (wines offered, local information, and some Nova Scotia history). The experience was amazing- the views, wine/charcuterie, and overall vibes were spectacular!

Finn and Paul were fantastic! I cannot recommend more highly. We took this sailing trip on our last night in Nova Scotia and it was the perfect way to end our vacation.

Finn and Ali were absolutely Amazing! We had the best experience and they were super knowledgeable and responsive to all our needs! Finn is a an excellent sailor and has tons of learned experience and knowledge and Ali was a great deck hand and made sure our wine glasses stayed full! Overall a 10/10 experience

Captain Ryan and First Mate/Sommelier Finn were fantastic hosts for our wine and cheese sunset cruise. We enjoyed several wines, learned sailing techniques while "helping" to sail the boat, and laughed a lot at each other's stories. The charcuterie and additional company made for a perfect evening. Be sure to add this cruise to your Halifax visit!!

The crew are friendly and very professional. At all times I felt at ease. The wines were delicious as was the charcuterie selections. This is a small group that you’re in close quarters with for the trip. I appreciated how respectful and helpful they were to all passengers.

The captain and crew were very professional. Beautiful scenery in a serene setting. The crew’s knowledge of the Nova Scotia wines pairing with the cheeses was exceptional. The local sights and history added to the overall experience.

Brandon & Margaret were absolutely great hosts. Margaret handled the boat like the back of her hand. You could tell she’s passionate about sailing. Brandon was also great, explaining how to adjust the sails, etc.
We were served 4 glasses of Nova Scotia wines, but if wine wasn’t your thing you could swap it out for another drink. 2 bathrooms on board & a beautiful experience. There’s no dress code but I’d recommend flat shoes. If you’re worried about getting cold, they have blankets on board to keep you comfortable. If you’re on the fence about booking, don’t be! It’s worth it :)

I got to hoist a sail, so I got a tiny taste of what is required on a sailboat. It was fascinating to watch as they managed the sails during the trip. Sunset was a bust, but the wine tasting and charcuterie were great. We had an incredible time and we compliment the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff - our captain - Andrew and lovely Megan and Avery . I had an amazing time on this sailing trip.It was a georgous summer day with a spectacular sunset!Brendon,Maryam and Avery did a fantastic job in hosting the sailing tour.Brendon and Maryam explained very well the area and Avery did a great job in explaining all the diffrent wines which were served on the tour together with cheese and snacks.I highly recommend this tour to everyone who visits Halifax!Thanks for a great sailing experience!
