GUESTS STAYING AT HOTELS: If your hotel is outside of our pick-up area in downtown Halifax, we will pick you up at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel, located at 1919 Upper Water St., Halifax, NS. Please indicate that when booking your reservation. ATTENTION CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS: Your pick-up or drop-off point will be the parking lot of Pier #22 in the Halifax Cruise Port. Your driver/guide will be holding a yellow sign with, "Peggy's Cove & Titanic Cemetery Tour" writtien on it. If you don't see our driver/guide, look for a van with our company name, "Anchor Tours", on the side of it. We will contact you by email no later than 8:00 p.m. the evening before the tour to let you know the exact time we will be by to pick you up. When you arrive in Halifax, please, make sure your cell phone is turned on and be available to receive calls or messages in case we need to contact you. Make sure you have included your mobile number in your reservation with Viator. Unfortunately, we are unable to wait for late arrivals. So for the consideration of others, please be punctual.

Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Made it very easy to find the guide when getting off the ship. Excellent experience and highly recommend.
We were on a cruise and did not want to deal with the chaos of going on a bus tour with a large group. We were in a group of 12. The van was comfortable and the tour guide was amazing. We will definitely book through Viator again.
Excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Because she was going our way, she even dropped us at our next stop, the Maritime Museum, at the end of the tour. Greatly appreciated!!!
Peggy's Cove is a must see. Highlight of our Canada New England Cruise. Excellent tour guide. He had an amazing amount of knowledge of the area and victims of the Titanic sinking. Transportation was comfortable, I believe there were a dozen on our bus.
Jeff was so knowledgeable about history, Halifax, and Nova Scotia broadly. I felt like I learned so much from the tour!

Guide was arogant. He didn't stop talking the entire time (way too much information) which was annoying and gave me a headache. Titanic tour was much longer than anticipated. I was happy to leave at the end.

A detailed itinerary of the tour was provided before you booked the tour. It clearly laid out the exact time spent at each location,.
Our guides are enthusiastic and pleased to share all they can about Halifax's involvement in the Titanic disaster. We wouldn't have it any other way.
Full bus. Limited audio.
Time on your own at Peggy’s. Good footwear recommended. Interesting tour of Titanic Cemetery as to who survived the disaster and who perished and how the remains were retrieved and brought to this cemetery.

Beautiful excursion and both an interesting and knowledgeable guide. Our guide took us around historic Halifax and then on a lovely scenic ride to Peggy’s Cove. He gave us some very interesting facts and then we arrived at the very different stone Cove.
On our way back we stopped at the Titanic graveyard and he provided some very interesting info on the actual grave sites.

There were 6 of us traveling together, we were the last pick up so seats were limited. My GF was told to sit in a seat that was not really a seat, the guide asked one of the men if they wanted to sit up front, well the man asked was part of our friend group, he said not let My friend, and he said no, you sit up front. So if you want to ride with a chauvinist, this tour is for you. Once we stopped I traded places with her and could barely fit, and there was no where for your feet because of the steps where the side door is , so you have to shift your body 45% to yhe left for your feet to have a place to be

I was the guide who held this tour so I can speak to what took place.
We do everything possible to ensure the comfort of our guests. When I noticed there were (3) people sititng in the rear seat, I offered for one of them to come up front and sit in a seat that was available. I just wanted to ensure the comfort of everyone.
Suddenly, you wanted to take the seat instead of who it was being offered to and said that person could take yours instead.
You put me in an uncomfortable position. I offered the seat to someone else yet you felt entitled to it for yourself without explanation.
I wasn't aware until later on that you were travelling together in a group. When we arrived at Peggy's Cove I offered for you to take the front seat but you refused the offer.
Your accusations of chauvinism are ridiculous. and offensive. I would have offered the seat to anyone under similar circumstances.

Excellent tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and I especially appreciated her overview at the titanic cemetery, respecting and honoring the victims. It was very moving.
Hunter was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about this area! Only complaint is that you need more than an hour to spend at Peggy's Cove. Titanic cemetery was very moving.

Nilah our guide was a wealth of information from start to finish. She narrated the history of the area we were passing through on the way to Peggy’s cove, and explained in detail the titanic cemetery history in a way where you actually listened and learned. Never boring.
The highlight of our trip. Nilah was very well versed on the history of Halifax and passionate about the people of this city. She shared her knowledge of the historical events that is changing the landscape of Halifax over the most recent years. Peggy's Cove was a delightful stop in a quaint village and the visit to the Titanic cemetery was very informative. A must visit tour while in Halifax!
The guides had incredible knowledge of the area. They made sure the guests were comfortable. It was an excellent tour.
Peggy Cove is magnificent. We found the Titantic gravesites moving with the stories provided by the guide. We also appreciated how she treated the site respectfully as much more than a tourist attraction.
The guide was great. She had wonderful knowledge of the area. Told some good stories of Halifax. Unfortunately the small bus was not the best. It was very cramped and did not provide enough space for the amount of people. It was very claustrophobic. It was a long ride to and from Peggy's Cove.

The itinerary went as planned. Peggy’s Cove is beautiful. You have enough time there to walk around (do not feel rushed). The Titanic Cemetery was a historic stop. Lots of tourists… Our guide gave us non stop information about Halifax.

During the 1 Hour drive. to Peggy’s Cove and additional hour back Jeff, our tour guide, gave excellent Halifax, history lessons. We learned all about the big explosion, lobster industry, and the Titanic. This was a most enjoyable tour.
Jeff was very knowledgeable! Gave us a lot of history of Halifax. Very impressed by his Titanic knowledge! Enjoyed the tour only downside was there was 10 tour buses at Peggy’s Cove when we were there very crowded. Not his fault
We went on this excursion from our cruise ship. Jeff was our guide. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and talkative. He had a plethora of information about the Titanic passengers and also interesting facts and stories. I appreciated his interest and obvious research of those buried from the ship wreck. It was also a beautiful day at Peggy’s cove so that added to our enjoyment of the excursion.
Nilah was amazing tour guide for us when we arrived in Halifax on Tuesday, August 11. She was very personable and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She was a safe driver and made sure we got some trivia answers for when we got home.
