Got a lot of looks from passers by. Loads of fun looking down on people at street level.
Would definitely do again.

Sit in the middle. The front you get wet and the back is loud and bumpy. It was interesting but not a must do. Very hard to hear the guides.

Really cool experience, nice way to get views in the city and experience being out in the water. Great chatter from the guide!!

Really fun experience! You get to see so many sights from the land/sea vehicle with an excellent tour guide! A must-do if you're visiting Halifax!

It was interesting learning about the city of Halifax from land and from the sea. The driver and guide did a great job. The only improvement that I would suggest is to have more speakers on the vehicle. A lot of the time is was very difficult to hear/understand what was being said due to the noise of the vehicle.

A bunch of fun, amusing vehicle, unique experience. See the boardwalk from the water. Quick tour... just an hour. Well worth it

The ride on the vehicle was fun, especially on the water. Abigail and Dave were very friendly and Abigail was a great tour guide.
However, the sights that we saw were not that interesting for me, but i still enjoyed the tour. It is a shame that we couldnt be closer to land, when on the water, to get a better view of the pretty waterfront.

A great way to see a lot of the key sights of Halifax, both on land and in the waters of the harbor.
David_M, Oct 2025
This was a good tour, we got both some of the history of the city, then we cruised the harbor to view the waterfront. Very nice.

This was an incredibly complete experience, full of beautiful sights, intriguing historical anecdotes, and actually witty repartee courtesy of our guides, Katherine and Liam. We had been considering a second boat tour of just the harbor, but this one was so good and fun that we didn’t feel a second was necessary. The key to the awesomeness of this experience was Katherine’s rapid-fire delivery; she filled every minute of the tour with memorable stories of the city and the Hopper, and still had time to take photos for travelers on the tour.

Really enjoyed the tour. The captain and guide (sorry I’m bad with names) were excellent. The little bit of history she shared was very interesting. I liked that the trip was an hour so as not to use up a lot of time.

Abby was a great guide for our drive around town. She was filled with information besides being cute and fun. Curtis was a masterful driver.
