Excellent tour! Nice Mercedes Van, with an amazing Tour Guide. Emily was great to listen to, she was super friendly, absolutely the best we have had on a excursion type tour. Well organized tour covering Peggy's Cove, the Citadel, and the Titanic Cemetery in one day. Pickup was punctual, the pacing between stops felt smooth, and our guide was knowledgeable throughout. Peggy's Cove was the highlight, the lighthouse and rugged coastline are breathtaking. Great option if you want to see Halifax's must-sees without renting a car.

This intimate tour was amazing. Cameron really made the whole experience really memorable. His knowledge, patience and kindness was truly incredible. I would definitely recommend it. Really loved time at the Citadel, the Pipers, the Titanic Cemetery was very interesting and loved every minute of Peggys Cove!

Peggy’s Cove is uniquely wonderful. Our guide Cameron was very enthusiastic He was timely and informative. The citadel was nice but could have easily been done with a walk from downtown Halifax. The cemetery wasn’t particularly noteable

We came in by cruise ship and booked the Peggy’s Cove tour. We thought it would be with a group and were pleasantly surprised that it was private. At first I was a little hesitant when Cameron showed up because I was worried to have a younger adult driving our family in a different country. He quickly put my mind to ease as he was very safe and cautious on the drive. He also was so friendly and knowledgeable! We learned quite a bit about Halifax and the surrounding area. The conversation was always flowing and we had the best time! Thanks, Cameron!

Booked this on a last minute trip to Halifax. I only had one day to see as much as I could. This is my first time here and this looked like it would cover a lot. I am so glad I booked this tour. Being a solo traveler, it was nice to have someone local show me around. This is normally a group, but today I was the only one in the afternoon tour. My guide Sunny was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the area. I never felt rushed either. Friendly and on time. Gave some great recommendations to check out after he dropped me off. All in all, 10/10 would reccommend!

Driver was very knowledgeable about Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Experiencing the Titanic cemetery brought the tragedy to life. The downfall was we missed the noon cannons at the citadel. Then the citadel made us turn around. The driver didn’t ask any questions as to why or if we could get in another way. He just said “sorry, the tour ends here.” It was 12:04pm. We lost almost an hour touring the citadel. That was part of the whole reason why I booked this tour and not just Peggy’s Cove. That was a lot of money and we were short changed.

I booked a Halifax tour through Viator for my group of ladies and it was a fantastic experience. The booking process was quick and easy. My questions were also addressed by a live person very quickly! Emily, our guide was a local and very knowledgeable. She really went out of her way to make the whole tour comfortable — picked us up from the ship's exit! She paced the tour well, and shared great local stories. She also recommended great places to eat! My friends and I enjoyed the experience from start to finish ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐⭐"

What a waste of time and money.
Viator contracts many of its tours through third-party operators, and our experience with Sightseeing Tours was very disappointing.
First, there were no signs at the cruise terminal to help locate the tour. We had to wander around asking other tour guides where to find them. Eventually, we were told that Sightseeing Tours is not allowed to display signs near the pickup area and instead waits in a parking lot. This should be clearly communicated to customers in advance.
The transportation was also disappointing. We were placed in a Ford Expedition, and if you’re a party of three, be prepared to be squeezed into the third-row seat with very limited legroom, airflow, and visibility. The driver mumbled throughout the tour, making it difficult to understand the commentary, and didn’t even seem to know how to operate the rear air conditioning.
Viator should be much more transparent during the booking process about the actual transportation provided. Customers deserve to know whether they’ll be traveling in a comfortable tour vehicle or simply being packed into an SUV. As it stands, this felt like a rip-off aimed at tourists.

We booked this tour through Viator. It said nothing about small groups but when you looked at the providers website it did say small tour groups. After payment late in the day the day before our tour I received a phone call asking to change our time. I said we could not be sure we were on a cruise. I was told I would receive a call back. I called again and was confirmed. When we got off the ship in Halifax I had a message that we could go on a walking tour. When I checked availability it showed three spots available. We were already at our meeting location. There was a pick up for some people and that guide confirmed we were with another guide. Ramen showed up to take others leaving me and my friend with not tour. All the tours were sold out for Peggy’s cove. Ramens booking was incorrect t so was able to take us. I believe this operator cancelled our tour because they did not want to send a car for 2 people. The three open spots would have filled the other vehicle. Only 2 vehicles came to the port and I understand they have 10 vehicles. This was the one tour we really were set on and if not for a booking mistake would have missed out because of this operator. The tour with Ramen was fabulous. He saved the day. I would never trust this operator and will go out of my way not to book them.

Our guide and driver Sonny was amazing. The drive was smooth and comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about each visit. The citidal was very interesting and some people would need more time there. Peggy’s cove was similar to a small Cornish village with lots of craft shops and obviously the lighthouse. As we come from Southampton (where most of the perished seamen came from) going to the titanic memorial graves was extra moving for us.

Smooth pick up and drop off. Our tour guide (Quinn) was friendly and knowledgeable, and delightful from start to finish. The van was extremely clean and comfortable and we had lots of time to explore Peggy's Cove, cemetery and the Citadel.

Very bad experience. While the tour guide was friendly and did drive okay, he was very inexperienced in giving tours as his understanding of the things he was teaching us about was lacking to say the least. Prior to this tour we had gone on others that gave us conflicting records of the history that occurred in halifax. Additionally we paid for a full tour of the citadel and the people who run the tour company do not spend any time to check if it is open, which in our case it wasn’t. The tour guide offered no explanation or alternative we were simply out of money. Commonly take tours when on vacation in a new city or country, can passionately say this is the worst tour i have ever been on, and would recommend you save your money for other experiences.

My boyfriend and I took a private tour for this experience which was incredible. We were taken to the major tourist areas such as Peggys Cove and the Citadel but we were offered so much more insight into the history and culture of Halifax. Raman our tour guide was amazing! Having an hour or so at different places was plenty of time to walk around and shop.

Our guide was Mo. We experienced our tour in a small group, very personalized. The smaller group size made it wonderful for asking questions and getting in and out of highly traveled tourist sites. Mo was so knowledgeable and interesting. Would definitely recommend. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was I thought that meet up could be communicated a little bit better about where the meeting point should be. Ie: at the picnic table, or at the square center of park.

James, our tour guide, was punctual and even called just before arriving to confirm our meeting spot, which we appreciated. He was knowledgeable about Halifax and shared interesting information with enthusiasm throughout the day.
However, his driving left a lot to be desired. He frequently had to look at his phone for directions, which made us a bit uneasy and suggested he wasn’t entirely familiar with the routes to our destinations.
Overall, while James was friendly and well-informed, the experience would have been more enjoyable and relaxing with more confident navigation and smoother driving.

If traveling by cruise ship, remember to check arrival times as well as ship’s departure times. This was a small group(4people) , so it was more more personalized. We were able to see many things on this tour
