The tall ship Silva was beautiful. When they raised the sails, with some help from the passengers (what an experience) it was majestic. There was a perfect chill in the air (sweater weather) the sunset and waterfront was beautiful. The entire crew was fantastic. Gary the musician on board made it a party, along with Murphys Pub.

It was so exciting to see the crew put up the sails. The musician played great contemporary music. We tipped him. The bar was busy and everyone became friendlier after a glass or two. Also, the gangplank is a bit steep after a glass or two. The pier is easy to find and there are nice restaurants all around for dinner afterward.

    This was a beautiful boat. With a very cheerful and knowledgeable crew. The Boat is docked right downtown . Very easy to get to. It seemed as though the boat was full to capacity however, there was plenty of room for people to move around, which the crew encouraged. They have a small bar and snack stand on board prices more than reasonable. The musician was fun, funny and talented. There were people of all ages on this Sunset cruise. I would highly recommend it. Great price,great value.

    Only suitable in dry weather as no shelter. Would have preferred more commentary on what we were passing, rather than the musician. Sails were put up but of course she’s not a true sailing ship. Still we were lucky as it was a lovely late afternoon/evening and was something different.

    We really enjoyed the sunset cruise! The musician was good and entertaining. The staff were very friendly. The weather was great and we had a beautiful sunset cruise. I would suggest getting there at least 30 minutes before to get in line.

    This outing was very affordable. The wind gets a bit chilly, bring a hoodie. Sit on the Port side of the boat for the best sunset pictures. Don't be shy about going uptop to get good pics too. The live music was a bonus. It was a fabulous evening. Thank you.

    We almost got on the wrong boat so that was a little hilarious. Once we found the right boat, we had a wonderful time. The music is a good mix of nostalgia and current songs. My kids had a great time. You can get drinks, snacks onboard and the bathrooms are very clean. Overall GREAT experience. Enjoy!! Advice: Give yourself an extra five to make sure you’re at the right dock.

    The cruise itself was nice and the live music was great. The only negative thing we would say about it was it felt way too crowded. Couldn’t really move around nicely to take sunset pictures with the family

    The sunset cruise was wonderful. It was just the right length and let you see a lot of the Halifax skyline/waterfront. It would have been nice to have had a tad fewer people on the boat, as there really wasn't enough seating for everyone. So, if you got up to see something, you risked losing your seat. The harbor views were the entertainment we came for, but, the singer/guitarist, who gave a concert on board, was nice to hear. He was very friendly, approachable, and performed well. Overall, it was a great, affordable experience that I recommend.

    They changed the pier at the last minute and called all the people who reserved. However, people like me have not activated their phones in Canads. A sign at the original boarding place directing people to the new doc would have helped a great deal.

    It was beautiful experience to see the vistas from the ship. It is lovely to watch the sunset from the water. (Take pictures of your loved one during the golden hour!!) Bring wind breaking layers if the weather is robust.

    A really terrific evening on the waterfront. The weather was beautiful and that really helped. But what helped the most was the excellent hosting and performing by Tommy Green Jr. Not only is his musicianship top rate with a great selection of songs, but his style of encouraging inclusivity with everyone on board really helped the whole evening. In addition, the staff on the boat were super friendly and accommodating. This also helped make for a great atmosphereThank you.

    We enjoyed a lovely evening on this beautiful ship. The entertainment by Tommy Green was amazing. We were lucky enough to see the gorgeous sunset. The one problem I did have was boarding the ship, it was a good 2 foot drop from at the entrance. I have a disability and this made it difficult to board. Please address this issue. Regardless I still gave this 5 stars.
