Halifax Cruise Terminal – Pickup Instructions Dear Guest, Pickup Location – Halifax Cruise Terminal Our driver will meet you at Pavilion 22, outside the terminal, opposite Gate 22. Look for the large blue Halifax Seaport sign. Behind the sign, you will see the parking ticket machine and parking area. This is the meeting point for your pickup. Please see the photo above for the exact location. If your cruise arrives at Pavilion 20: Simply call or text your driver after you exit the terminal. Our driver will come to Pavilion 20 to pick you up. Vehicle Parking All Amaan Tours vehicles will be parked in Parking Lot C, where tourist vehicles are permitted to pick up guests. A great day in Peggy’s Cove.

We had a great tour with Amman tours. They keep us informed before the tour of the meeting place and times much better than company I have ever used. On the tour my wife and I had a private tour which was very flexible as to what we could do and see based on my wife’s mobility and what we wanted to see. I could not have had a better tour even if I was doing the driving. Our driver suggested some places that were small short stops that we would have never seen if we were on a bigger bus tour. If you have an opportunity to use Amman tours on your trip to Halifax you will be very happy with Amman tours.

The name of the gentleman driving was Bogale with Amaan Tours, Inc. He was NOT a tour guide and only took us from place to place. He NEVER explained anything about the places we went. He would drop us off and NOT tell us when he would pick us up. I was so upset when we went to the Titanic Grave site because we were just left to wonder around. Fortunately, I found a tour guide from another company that was explaining about the various graves and I followed along with her tour. We had another couple on this tour that had family in another vehicle from Amaan Tours Inc. that had this same experience. Viator you should ban this company from doing business with you as they are NOT tour guides but merely taxi drivers. It definitely gives your company a bad name and reputation. If this had been the only tour I had taken with Viator, I would NEVER use your company again.

A Ride Out There

We wer put in a car with 4 other people that were in a larger group in another car. Our driver didn’t offer much in the way of info. Although one guest asked lots of questions. The driver was not really well versed about much. Peggy’s cove is worth a visit. Enjoyed it. But the tour company that provided the local tour was not great.

I enjoyed the scenery, history and ambiance of Peggy’s Cove. We had time to climb, take pictures and visit local shops Our driver, was knowledgeable, flexible and interesting. When there was a little bit of time left, she offered to bring us to see other attractions which were not on our list.

More of a driver than tour guide.

Since our ship was later docking, tour company changed time to one hour later. Tour guide was a good driver and very friendly. However, the guide could not be heard in the van and did not provide information about the places we visited. They were 6 on the tour and 3 were crammed into the third seat since the middle row had bucket seats.

Peggy’s Cove & Titanic Grave Sites

Guide was friendly and courteous. We visited all venues listed in the tour description. We were given sufficient time to visit each site. We arrived late because of ships schedule, and Viator nicely accommodated us by delaying the pickup time. Guide also dropped us off at the port where we boarded the tinder. Usually other tour guides provide a narrative description about history of city and sites visited. We were disappointed that our guide was not from the area so he had very little knowledge to share with us on the tour.

Neda was the perfect guide! She picked us up from the cruise ship port and was a wealth of knowledge on all things Halifax, sharing tidbits with us on the way to Peggy’s Cove and making recommendations for our day. She was friendly, professional, informative and flexible, letting us decide how much time we wanted to spend at each location. I highly recommend Neda to anyone looking for a few hours in and around Halifax.

This was a very good tour. We could have stayed longer at Peggy’s Cove and skipped some of the other stops. The tour guy was foreign and was somewhat hard to understand.

Fun quick day trip

Booked this for 7 people and we were very comfortable in our guide's (Neda?) minivan. She was very knowledgeable and personable. Peggy's cove was beautiful. I would recommend at least 4 hour tour because we could have used more time there. Tom's restaurant was recommended for lobster rolls but it sadly was closed so I wouldn't count on that.

The young man that was our tour guide was very nice, but it was very difficult to understand his accent. He is obviously not a local person and knows very little about the area. He did not seem to know his way around or direct us to what we wanted to see or stop at for lunch. We ended up cutting it short and going directly back to where we had started. It was very unfortunate, but I cannot recommend this tour.

As per our booking policy, cancellations made more than 24 hours before the activity start time are fully refundable. However, your cancellation request was made approximately one hour before the tour start time, which falls within the non-refundable period. Despite the cancellation being processed through Viator, we still chose to provide the tour service so your plans would not be disrupted and you could still enjoy your experience in Halifax. We also accommodated a delay of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and our driver-guide waited for your pickup at the cruise terminal. We understand that weather conditions impacted the experience and that the tour was shortened due to rain. We are also sorry to hear your comments regarding the guide. Girls trip to Peggy‘s Cove

We had a wonderful experience visiting Peggy‘s Cove with Neda. She was so knowledgeable about the whole area of Halifax and was very informative throughout our entire drive. She even answered all of our questions when we saw things that grabbed our attention. . When it was time for lunch she had great recommendations and even showed us a nice place that was less busy than the tourist spots. We had a group of 7 adults, and we were very comfortable in the minivan. Everyone in our group was impressed and we would highly recommend this tour.
