Difficult but so worth it!

This was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life but I am so glad we did it. The shelters we stayed in we comfortable and we could see Fuego from our room (we stayed in a two person). This was a smaller group which was nice and we had a guide with us the whole time. I recommend getting a porter because without my porter, Kimberly, I would have made it up.

If you’re on the fence on whether to book or not, you should definitely book! Milton was kind, informative, and we thoroughly enjoyed our class! You cook so many different things (tortillas, rellenitos, pepian, guacamole) and he gives you great tips while cooking. The market tour was amazing and very fun to experience. You even get recipes at the end to recreate at home. Highly highly recommend this cooking class.

Great shuttle service

Joshua was our driver and did a fantastic job. Our ride from Antigua to Panajachel was 2.5 hours due to the rain. We encountered a bad accident blocking the main highway we were on. He turned around and took an alternate route without hesitation. He got us to our destination safely. Highly recommend; it’s obvious he has been driving Guatemala for many years.

Great transportation experience!

Hard, but worth it!

Incredibly hard, but so, so worth it! I am a 24 year old in decent shape, but honestly did not train the way I meant to for this hike. I struggled a decent amount, but made it nonetheless! 7 out of our group of 21 decided to stay back from the fuego hike and I honestly think we had a better time than they did! We woke up early for the summit hike, which seemed like it was a much more enjoyable hike than fuego! Also, as a vegetarian, I recommend this hike! You can do it!

Abdel arrived right on time as agreed. The van was very clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable. Although the drive from Antigua to Guatemala City Airport was long, Abdel drove very carefully and professionally throughout—never erratic and always attentive. He helped us load and unload all of our luggage and got us to the airport on time. He was friendly and engaging when appropriate, while also giving our family space to relax during the journey. Overall, an excellent driver and a very comfortable experience. We would definitely book with him again!

Just book the class ...Do it for the experience.... This was such a beautiful experience, you feel like you are going to a frieds house for dinner... From the minute you arrive , everyone else that's there for the class ,We all just seem to bond . Making the food is a shared experience, everything comes together tasteful and amazingly well The hosts are amazing ...Felt like family ....And to top it off it was my Birthday ( Well 3 of us ,who meet at the class shared Birthdays days apart and to our surprise We got a cake to share .....
