Overview
Discover the Lake Atitlan area on this half-day ATV adventure. First, head to San Antonio Palopo via the road that runs around the lake. There, visit a local ceramic factory to learn about the production process and also stop by a chocolate factory. Following that, travel to the village of Santa Catarina Palopo where you'll be able to learn about and see the weaving of blankets, and other goods. Lastly, head to Playa Blanca en Barrio Jucanya for some photo opps by the water.

This was a great way to see beautiful towns along Lake Atitlan. Everyone as Simoon Tours was professional and kind from start to finish, especially our friendly and knowledgeable guide. If you want to learn about local culture, this is definitely one of the most fun ways to do it.

Great experience and a lot of fun. Our guide was great. He was very patient and knowledgeable. This is not our first trip and we have done a number of tours / activities. I would highly recommend this as you get to see some smaller charming villages you probably wouldn’t otherwise see.

Absolutely incredible- lots of fun and a great way to see all the villages. Our guide Andres was so wonderful and clearly loved his job so made it such an enjoyable experience.
Great, easy-paced ride with plenty of time at each stop to take in the scenery and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. The guide was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both fun and informative. It was a great way to explore the area, and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a relaxed and enjoyable adventure.
The tour was amazing. Sebastian was my guide and it was my first time on an ATV. He was sure to explain how it works and was patient throughout.
The views were beautiful and the history behind coffee, textiles, chocolate and local life in general were explained very well.
I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone.

It was so much fun! Getting to ride atvs up and down a winding mountain side into smaller towns of Guatemala was awesome. Out Guid Nemi was very knowledgeable and spoke in English extremely will and with him being our guid we (my wife and I) felt extremely comfortable we didn’t feel rushed or felt uncomfortable. I would definitely book with them again! Thank you to Nemi and Simon tours for an excellent experience!

Two reasons why I gave this a four star. In the description, it said we were going to go on a coffee tour taste coffee, see how the process is made, etc. that never happened. We stopped by a very small coffee shop to buy coffee. Also, this tour was supposed to be four hours and we got back in less than three. However, our guide was great and it was fun to visit to Mayan villages.

This was an absolutely incredible tour that we would recommend to anyone. Riding the ATVs is so much fun, and the stops along the way were exactly what we were looking for. Our tour had five people on it including us, which we felt was perfect. Our tour guide is what really perfected the tour for us though. His name is Nemy and he is an incredibly nice and knowledgeable guy with a huge heart. He took good care of us, took the time to get to know us a bit, never rushed us, and gave us such interesting information at each stop. We stopped at a local coffee spot with local coffee beans, a traditional textiles location where we got to spin some cotton and learn about all the dies and textile making process from some locals with Mayan heritage, and a traditional ceramics shop where we got to see the various steps of the ceramic making process. We found some of our favorite souvenirs on this tour as well at these stops. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this tour and to have had Nemy as our tour guide in particular, and we would recommend the tour company and Nemy to anyone. Thanks again Nemy!

This was a wonderful excursion. We had Andreas who was very knowledgeable and patient. I have some mobility issues and he was able to help me get tuk tuk for one of the destinations requiring some steps. The views of the lake were stunning and he even took pictures of us throughout the excursion. Would definitely recommend.

Our ATV experience was top notch. I give credit to our guide, Pedro. He was very knowledgeable and made sure to follow all safety protocols to make sure we had an amazing time but in a safe manner. We got to see many sites and explore the different cities along Lake Atitlan. I highly recommend this tour, and if you get Pedro as your guide you are a lucky person!
