Great full day. Our guide...
Great full day. Our guide Cosimo was super engaging and helpful with lots of trivia / fun facts type information about each of the places we visited. He really made an effort to engage the group, not just about the places we visited but about Italy and Italian life and culture in general. We were strangers coming from all over the world, so this was appreciated by many of the guests especially on the longer stretches of the bus ride. The towns themselves were a fun break from Rome after being there for a couple weeks (work and vacation trip, and my 4th time in Rome - I was eager for the countryside!)

Simply and incredible...
Simply and incredible experience. Learning if the history, process and limitations of what DOP Balsamico is blew my mind. I love to cook, and have enjoyed many aged vinegars, but I had no idea of the complexity and passion that goes into DOP Balsamico. A great experience and Elisa was excellent guiding us through the history.

Amazing family experience for all, 14-88 years.
Great experience for the whole family. My 17 year old son said, “it was great”. If you know 17 year old boys, you know that’s high praise. The entire experience was lovely. We met the cows, learned from the man himself, and ate amazing cheese. Best tour!

Excellent tour
What a great experience! We all were very much looking forward to this tour and Michelle made it even better than we were hoping for. She loves her town and it showed as she was walking us around town. We tried Parma’s best and loved all of it. Michelle was a great guide, very nice and personable.
Would highly recommend for anyone looking to taste all that Parma has to offer.

Parmesan Cheese Making and Organic Farm Tour
Very insightful and informative seeing the process from start to finish. Loved the fact that the tour featured a small organic farm that grows the grass, raises that dairy cows and uses the milk to make the Parmesan cheese. Full 360 experience!
Very friendly, excellent shuttle service to and from the farm with English speaking guides!
A must experience while visiting Parma.

The tours of Reggiano cheese and Parma Ham is a must if in Parma. Our guide Mateo was knowledgeable and super friendly. We love learning about the creation of these two incredible Italian staples in any home. Even got some delicious cheese to bring back to US.

THIS is the tour you want to book!
Our experience on this tour (last week) with our amazing guide, Lisa, was simply amazing! We booked the option with transportation included to and from Parma, and the entire day was seamless. We were first taken to a Parmiggiano Reggiano dairy and we were able to watch the entire process right there on the production floor with the cheese master and his experienced crew. It was simply incredible to watch - these people are true artists and watching them work mostly in silence with everyone just knowing what to do at all times was SO awe-inspiring. Lisa is incredibly knowledgeable about the entire process and was able to explain the ins and outs and whys down to a granular level. She kept things interesting and engaging for my two kids (10 and 11 year olds) and was so patient with them, even when they were being rowdy in the van. The tasting at the end of the production tour was also great, as we were able to taste the cheese at different stages of aging. From there we went to the Prosciutto di Parma factory - we were there on a Sunday, so unfortunately, we weren't able to see the production process (they only work on week days), but we still enjoyed walking around and looking at all the rooms and equipment and of course, the many Parma hams! Lisa brought the process to life for us with all of her extremely detailed descriptions and again, answered all of our many questions thoroughly and enthusiastically. After the tour, we tasted different varieties of ham and met the sweet owner and her daughter, and it was awesome to chat with them. We could not have asked for a better guide or a better tour. Two weeks in Italy and now that we're back home, this is the experience we're all still talking about. Also big shout out to Michelle, who was very responsive and helpful before the tour. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! I'd give ten stars if I could.

Just like learning from Mom, and just as tasty
My high school-aged son and I did this together and really enjoyed it. The host was a good teacher, and taught in a way that makes it easy to remember. She also provided additional recipes for use when we get home. Three other duos were also part of the class. Sharing the learning as well as a meal together made the experience more fun as well.

Wonderful!!!!
This experience was worth every penny. We learned so much about the process of making high quality balsamic. From start to finish it earned high marks. From Mariangela giving very concise directions for our train travel from Bologna to Vignoli, to her picking us up from the train station and bringing us back, to tasting her wonderful product paired with several different foods, we highly recommend this tour. We can't wait to taste the products we purchased, although their was no hard sell to buy anything. Thank you again to Mariangela (and her Mom) for this wonderful experience and sharing your love and enthusiasm for your family's generations of balsamic production. Grazie!

Intimate afternoon wine tasting
We were looking for something a little different and interesting to do in Bologna and this tour ticked the box. Donillo and Michelle were lovely hosts and so informative. We learnt all about wines of Emilio Romangna and pairing them with foods. The little qui was a lot of fun and we learnt so much. The artisanal products they sell in their store are beautiful. Shame we couldn’t buy more as our luggage is at its max.
Highly recommended to anyone that wants to learn a bit more about wines of the region and pairing with food.
