Very nice, educational tour!

Very nice tour! About 25-30 minutes in a 8-seater van from the meeting point to the Parmesan factory, and the ham factory was right down the street. Mostly an indoor tour, and a light jacket was nice in the cheese factory due to refrigeration. David did an excellent job as guide.

Fantastico food tour!

An amazing experience full of delicious food. We were treated to meeting several artisan food producers including behind the scenes visits to kitchen to see baking and pasta making and then delicious tastings. We were treated also to a variety of hams and different aged parmegiano cheese with Lambrusco. All in all a truly delightful and tasty experience with our wonderful host and guide Barbara who answered all our questions and was able to give us so much information not just of the local foods but also the history of Parma. Thank you so much for a lovely day and would highly recommend this tour.

Exceptional Cheese tour

Fantastic tour! Highly recommend. The tour guides were exceptional and very knowledgeable and welcoming. Detailed view of the actual process of cheese making on an actual farm that produces/processes the cheese.. The tour provides transportation to/from the tour - excellent service. Definitely my husband and I enjoyed this tour very much & the tasting of cheeses and wine were superb.

This tour was a great introduction to a lovely city. If you want the history of the city and landmarks this might not be the right tour, but if you want to know about the culture and taste in the delights of the region look no further! Our tour guide Ilaria was lovely! She was enthusiastic and shared information and experiences while answering all of our questions. She also gave us tips and recommendations for the rest of our time in Bologna, which we took and were so happy we did!

This experience was worth every penny. We learned so much about the process of making high quality balsamic. From start to finish it earned high marks. From Mariangela giving very concise directions for our train travel from Bologna to Vignoli, to her picking us up from the train station and bringing us back, to tasting her wonderful product paired with several different foods, we highly recommend this tour. We can't wait to taste the products we purchased, although their was no hard sell to buy anything. Great experience - our guide Matteo was super knowledgeable about food in general and Bolognese in particular. Learned an amazing amount in just a few hours - also tried fantastic and unusual coffees, local pasta, local meats cheese and wine. Ended with the best gelato we’ve ever had. Fun Wine Tasting Experience for Solo Travellers

I had a great experience tasting wines and learning about different food pairings with them. I got to taste three local wines and local foods, and there was a little sommelier game which was a fun intro to learning more about wines. And I got a cute little Bologna fridge magnet for memories!
