We had a lovely time on our food tour in Modena! Kayleigh was super informative and highly engaging the entire time, she was great! Highly recommend. She took us to taste balsamic vinegars, we had an aperitivo then delicious pasta and ended with gelato. Kayleigh also provided great recommendations, which was very helpful since we hadn’t visited Modena before. Thank you for a great experience!

We went to a Balsamic Vinehar tasting and shop, then sat down for a lovely charcuterie selection, walked about 5 minutes to a lovely pasta restaurant where Kayleigh bought the group a bottle of Lambrusco and then to an amazing gelato shop. The tour lasted about 3 hours, was very chill and informative. My partner and I would highly recommend it!

This was a great tour to experience Modena in a short period of time. Balsamic vinegar, salami and cheese, pasta dishes and gelato. The guides very very nice and informative.

There was just my husband & I on the tour, the tour was good & informative, but we would have liked a few more people to have joined us as we were the only ones eating as our host had already eaten, it felt a little odd!
We enjoyed the tour & the food, but found it expensive for what we had. We paid extra for the drink package & had 3 glasses of wine.
We have done many food tours in other cities & have noticed how expensive they are all getting, over £100 per head! I think we will just do our own tour next time.

Our guide Darren was so fun and full of knowledge on Balsamic Vinegar and on Modena. If we could have kept his service all day, that would have been fantastic but only a 2.5 hour tour. LOVE IT!

We had a wonderful Modena Food Tour with Eugenio! We started with a balsamic vinegar tasting followed by a visit to the central market. The market was spectacular and vibrant and the meat and cheese selection delicious. Next was a pasta tasting and the one of the best gelatos we had on an 18 day trip to Italy. We would definitely recommend this food tour to others in the quaint town of Modena, a quick day trip from a lot of cities in Italy.

Jessica was an excellent, local guide that provided history, facts and insight into Modena. All a bonus to the purpose of the tour - the food of Modena. We ate, not sampled, delicious food and gelato. The beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic flowed freely. We also stopped to sample and learn about the balsamic vinegars of Modena at a wonderful shop.Be prepared to end the tour full of information and a full belly. Highly recommend.

Eugene and Darren were exceptional hosts. Very knowledgeable about Modena and Bologna food history. The balsamic tasting was a highlight. Enjoyed the selection of meats and cheese prior to having fantastic pasta for dinner. Our tour finished up with all natural Gelato! Would recommend this tour!

Alesia provided a great food experience. She has been trained in the Slow Food tradition, and it gives a unique spin you won’t find in many food tours. The balsamic vinegar tasting answered a lot of questions we had and gave us the basis to buy what we wanted after the tour. The tour of the food hall explained the quality, seasonality, and source of the local food, with an opportunity to sample/compare local salume and cheese, served with local wine. Alessia discussed current efforts to bring Italians back to their food roots, and to teach children about the culture of food in Italy. We proceeded to a trattoria that seemed to be patronized only by locals, and had a couple of very well prepared pastas, based on local traditions. And finally artisanal gelato, with flavors based on local fruits, etc. The tour price is quite reasonable, considering you have a full lunch in the course of the tour. We highly recommend this tour!

Jessica, our guide was fun and chatty and gave us a great Italian experience in Modena. We visited the Giuseppe Giusti balsamic store, tried cured meats, local cheeses, also pasta at Uva D’Oro and finished with artisan icecream from Blooms

This was a great tour. Our host, Allessia, was very kind and very knowledgeable. It was obvious that food and education are her passion. We ate amazing food, had great conversation and never felt rushed or unwelcome. It was perfect.

A tasty tour with a very friendly tour guide. We were a group of parents with two teenagers. It was lovely having a private tour, passing between carefully selected restaurants in Modena. The real thing, no tourist traps. Our guide was highly knowledgeable and friendly.
Highly recommend! Come with an empty stomach.
