What are people saying about Egypt

Hisham was an amazing...
Hisham was an amazing driver. He got me to the places, and even though he was driver only, he answered questions. This is okay for a female solo traveler. When you get into the church complex you may find that a guide is helpful so that you don’t miss anything. There are inexpensive guides for hire walking around.

Meya Meya Incredible Experience
Marco was amazing. His knowledge on Egypt was incredible and the way he described to us every detail was so fascinating and gave us something we couldn’t experience without him. He knew everyone which made the journey a breeze, helping us into cabs and dealing with hagglers and shopkeepers. He also took us to the front of queues and gave us a great experience to remember. Marco is a funny and friendly man, great with our kids and helpful with everything. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time on the Nile boat ride and visiting the bazaar. The whole experience felt very relaxed and enjoyable. Our guide Ahmet was friendly, helpful, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour.
The boat ride on the Nile was beautiful, and walking through the bazaar was a great way to experience the local atmosphere. Overall, it was a really nice part of our time in Cairo.

Abu Simbel private car transfer
It suited us that the excursion started at 7:00, not very early like most tours. The drive took about 3 hours and 30 minutes. The car was clean and the driver drove carefully. We spent two hours at the location and the driver dropped us off in front of the desired restaurant in Aswan. I recommend this tour, the price and service were very good; other tours were much more expensive, even when I tried to arrange it through the accommodation owner. I was a little worried whether the driver would pick us up at the accommodation, because it was written somehow vaguely on the website, i.e. some meeting points are mentioned.

Do not hesitate to ask for Zach
We are on a Nile cruise and had the choice between flying for $585 per person or arranging this trip, taking a group of 4 on a 3 hour drive to and from Abu Simbel. While 3 hrs seems long, our guide, Zach, made it enjoyable, educational, fun, insightful and above all, clear. His English is excellent, he speaks slowly, he's astute, follows American politics, and is clearly intelligent and well-educated. Yes, the group who flew got back to the ship earlier, but at dinner, we ended up explaining Abu Simbel to them bc we had learned so much from Zach. Always felt safe, driver was very careful and drove with caution. We arrived earlier than the cruise group and the temples weren't very crowded. Warning: no guides are allowed inside temples, so make sure you get a good explanation before you walk in. Fortunately, Zach provided that for us so our visit was very rich.

Long but insightful day in Alexandria
Day was good overall with many sites visited. My only reservation would be the Driver pick up situation as they went to the wrong Hotel first. The local Tour guide was informative and allowed me free time at each point. The Driver’s technique was quite erratic on the way back and he used his phone a lot so be buckled up to ensure safety. It was a really good day and I learned a lot just be mindful of wearing your seatbelt in the car.

Absolutely the best tour...
Absolutely the best tour guy we have experienced throughout all of Egypt with our guide Aladdin and his Driver hamdy. Our guide really made our family feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience and even came out of his way to buy us breakfast on request. I wished our guy was with us throughout our entire journey throughout Egypt. Unfortunately, he was a fixed to services in Cairo. The company overall seems. Very well organized.
I would look plan out another trip with them if possible in the future

An unforgetabble day in Fayoum
This experience is relaxed, personal, and driven by Ahmed’s bright, engaging personality. From the start, his energy sets the tone for the entire day. He is warm, upbeat, and genuine, which makes the experience feel less like a tour and more like an adventure shared with a friend.
The day is not rushed or overly structured. Ahmed encourages curiosity, conversation, and laughter, creating an easy, joyful atmosphere while still sharing meaningful context about Fayoum, the desert, and the whale fossils. The drive from Cairo becomes part of the experience, filled with good energy and connection.
Visiting the whale fossils was fascinating. Lunch at a Bedouin rest area in the desert is a true highlight, offering a peaceful break in a beautiful setting.
Travelers should know that much of what makes this experience special is Ahmed himself. His positivity, sense of humor, and genuine hospitality leave you feeling energized and cared for throughout the day. If you value a guide with a vibrant spirit who creates a memorable, personable experience, this tour is an excellent choice.

We had an incredible and...
We had an incredible and very packed day exploring Luxor’s West Bank. The itinerary included the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and several other fascinating stops.
Both the driver and the guide were great. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, sharing rich historical context and answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. The pace was full but well-organised, allowing us to see so much in just one day without feeling too rushed.

Good way to see plenty within a day
Good communication, informative guide, plenty of time for optional extras if you want them (e.g. inside the great pyramid), and lunch was enjoyable. Only part I wasn't keen on was the papyrus stop at the end - the staff there were very pushy in terms of wanting you to buy things, but otherwise the tour was hassle free

Really good guide
It was a very interesting experience. Our guide was fantastic. He was great at storytelling and had a lot of knowledge.
He was also very open about his own experiences and opinions and it was a great eye opener for foreigners like us. We visited several churches and a synagogue which carry a massive amount of history.
I am not sure if it’s mentioned in the itinerary, to get to the last church you have to drive through the so called ‘garbage city’ - which is not for everyone- and so was visiting the city of the dead - but we are glad we did that as it’s a fascinating part of Cairo. Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was William - very knowledgeable!

The Best!
The tour was fantastic. We only stopped once there and back for a quick break. There is a toilet on the bus as well. We had 1 hour and 40 minutes to explore the 2 temples because we didnt do the guide (tell your guide that once your all in there so you dont have to wait and he will let you go and tell you when to be back). That was more than enough time! When the tip envelope gets passed around on the bus back, its not mandatory BUT your guides/driver deserves a tip because they are up at 3am everyday doing this and its hard work and they do a great job and are super friendly. So even if you tip 100egp($2.) Thats better than nothing. The bus was back in Aswan by 4:30pm, but it also was the people on the bus who didnt come back on time from viewing the temples so I blame them. I would suggest not having to leave Aswan before 6pm just to be safe on time. Thanks again!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Egypt is home to thousands of years of history. Even if you’re visiting for sun, sea, and sand, the top Egypt day trips make it easy to enjoy the nation’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed wonders. Cairo offers pyramids aplenty, plus mosques, bazaars, museums, and Coptic churches, while Luxor, Aswan, and Abu Simbel are famous for tombs and temples. Alexandria delivers catacombs, gardens, and Greco-Roman ruins. Best of all? A professional driver spares you the nation’s crazy traffic, while a guide lets you skip the research altogether.
