You need to go see the place, it's beautiful. The ride from aswan is about 3h30 to go and 3h30 to come back. You have about 1h30 at the place. The guide Abdul lets you go inside the temple alone (they are not aloud to come in), makes a brief explanation on the place for about 15 min and then takes a few pictures if you want. The visit is very quick, it's the car time that is long. You will wait at a boarder in the morning after your pickup for around 40 min and no one tells you why, you just wait. We found out after that the boarder opens at 5:00, so why did they come pick us up at 4:00 in the morning ? On the way back, we got a flat on one of the weels of the car, the drivers made it fast to replace it and were very professionnal.
Our tour to Abu Simbel was unforgettable, all thanks to Mustafa. He is an exceptionally warm, educated, and passionate guide with a profound knowledge of the temple's history.
What made it extra special was the wonderful teaching material he shared with us via WhatsApp during the tour, giving us great resources to keep learning. If you want a guide who truly brings ancient history to life, Mustafa is the absolute best!

We had a nice time, but it was definitely not because of our tour guide. While the drivers were OK and the tempels were fantastic, our guide was of little use. He made us wait for 20 minutes at the entry for others who were joining our group and were late. That effected our experience greatly as we only had 2h to see everything. But what disappointed us the most was the lack of interesting details in guides presentation. He talked for about 10 minutes and did tell some interesting facts, but in the end we felt like we would like another 10-20 minutes of details. If we were to choose again, we would opt for the cheaper “only transportation” option (as all we heard could be very quickly learnt online), though it was only 5$ cheaper.

The pickup was on time and the van was quite clean and cozy with security belt. One thing that should be more clear is the fact that the price of the entrance ticket to Abu Simbel was not included and was mandatory, I thought that ticket was optional to go inside the temple not to see the temple from outside.
For the price, this tour is definitely worth it! It was one of the few tours I did in a group and the site is pretty awesome. It’s a long drive there and back, so be prepared for that. The stop at a coffee shop is meh, but you’re in the middle of the desert at like 6am - beggars can’t be choosers. The guide was good - it wasn’t too long, but added to the experience. There was also sufficient time to explore and take pictures. If you want a ton of history, you may want a private guide. But if you want something quick and dirty and/or focus more on the visuals, this tour will do the trick. The car guide wrangled us as needed, but was there basically for logistics. I’m glad I went and would recommend to others - met some cool people on the tour too.

We booked this day trip with Nice tours a couple of weeks before the tour. They were very friendly and communicative. On the day of the tour, the driver arrived pick us up at the hotel on time (3:45am) and he drove us to Abu Simbel. There, he gave us 2 hours to visit around (which is more than enough) and drove us back to the hotel. He was friendly and his car was very clean and A/C was working. It was a pleasant drive. I would definitely recommend this tour.
You’re given enough time at the temple. Also the communication was great. Will accommodate you if you changed hotel like I did.
The car was comfy with AC. Abdul was a good driver, and came on time. Overall iI had good experience with him.
Wonderful day. Everything went smoothly. They were punctual and the minibus was comfortable with soft seats and good a/c. The tour guide was great. Very informative. Would’ve liked a little more time to shop for souvenirs. Price was great. Would recommend. We left at 4am from Aswan and returned at 130p.
This tour was amazing! If Abu Simbel isnt reason enough, Ahmed sure is! Such a brilliant, passionate, humble soul. He took his time to ensure we all understood the history he shared. I loved the interactive brief on the way to the site, he had pictures with his stories that set the scene even before we arrived. That made digesting this significant wonder all the more easier. Even though it was a group tour he made space for each person individually, answered all our questions and engaged us in discussion. The sites are remarkable, they have been for millennia, but a great tour guide make the visit meaningful. Bonus: he takes great pics! Thanks Ahmed!

It takes about 3hours to get Abu Simbel by bus.
The tour was good with our guide Mina Habib. Everything was on time and I felt same. Overall the visit and booking is no hassle.

George is really nice. The journey was comfortable and he ensured that we all are good at all times. I will recommend not to do guided tour. Instead just pay for the travel. Guides will not go inside the Abu Simbel with you and there is no need to pay extra money for that.
We spent the morning from 3.30 am to 2 pm for going from ASSUAN to Abu Simbel. The guide explained us the story of the temple while we were in the car in order to give us free time to explore the temple. It was super nice!
The organization was excellent. Hazem Sayed was attentive to everything from beginning to end and was very kind — so much so that I booked another tour with them. We had Ahmed Achraf as our guide, and he explained all the history in great detail and was attentive to our questions. I 100% recommend them.

However additional $10 charge for pick up per person from our hotel in new aswan.
We had 1hr 45 mins to look around which was enough time.
Communication was smooth from start to finish, and everything was well organized. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit to Abu Simbel even more enjoyable. The van transfer was comfortable, and the hotel pickup made everything very convenient.
Zero star 🌟 for this one. Pick-up 315-345am. They made us wait for 45 mins at some random location. Approx. 7 to 8 hrs total drive and you get to spend just 1 hour in the temple.
Guide gives you all the information for 15 mins outside the temple which i barely understood coz of heavy accent.
They wont even stop for even 15 mins for you to rest or to take quick bites and rush to take you back.
Cab AC was also not working well while coming back.
This tour is simply not worth the time and energy. Choose a tour that allows you to spend at least 2 hrs inside the temple and around the vicinity.
One thing i truly detest about Egypt not just here but mostly all the sightseeing places that they charge for TOILETS!!!
Toilets thats broken and not even maintained well and for such little service, they expect TIPS!!
Very well organized tour with a fantastic guide
Left at 3:30 am our guesthouse at elephantine Island (they come to catch you) and returned around 2 pm.

A marvel of engineering and truly an awe inspiring moment for me. Both the temples are brilliant and the ride through the Egyptian desert is an experience too.
