Fantastic morning exploring Cape Verde
Fantastic guide who was great company as well as very informative. The sand surfing was great fun and we saw turtles swimming and a shark. Amazing beaches and plenty of time to enjoy. The tasting experience at the end was a great surprise !!!!! Really great value for money with a guide who really cares about the future of Cape Verde

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Unforgettable Experience on Santiago Island
I had an absolutely incredible full-day tour of Santiago Island, and I cannot recommend this experience enough—especially with Pox (our driver) and Antonio (our tour guide).
From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make the day both enjoyable and deeply informative. Antonio is extremely knowledgeable about the island’s history, culture, and local communities. He didn’t just give surface-level information—he provided real insight into the traditions, lifestyle, and stories that make Santiago so unique. You can truly feel his passion for sharing his culture.
Pox, our driver, was equally amazing—professional, friendly, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. The roads and terrain can be challenging in certain areas, but his skill and calm demeanor made the experience seamless.
What really stood out was how authentic the tour felt. This wasn’t just a checklist of tourist spots—it felt like a genuine connection to the island and its people. We visited local communities, experienced real Cape Verdean life, and had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations.
If you’re visiting Cape Verde and considering a tour of Santiago, do yourself a favor and book this experience—and if possible, request Pox and Antonio. They truly made this a highlight of my trip.
Thank you both for such a memorable and enriching day!

Fantastic day
We had a fantastic full day tour with Paulo. He passionately told us a lot about the island life, the challenges, the history, the current situation of Cabo Verde and the kind and tranquil people. Very interesting!
They picked us up at our hotel, eventhough we didn't stay in the city center.
Tomorrow we leave for Santo Antao and probably will book you for another fantastic tour there.
Thanks! Ageeth and Marjolijn (the Netherlands)

Great day out
Nany was a super guide, very knowledgeable about all the areas and a clear local! I wouldn’t say the trip is suitable for trips personally it was long and a lot of driving on bumpy roads, again people who get travel sick may not cope on the roads it did feel like a rollercoaster! Some parts were a let down the blue eye cave had no sun I wish we had longer to swim given there was nothing to see. The sharks were spectacular!

Mamadu and the tour: incredible!
Mamadu, our tour guide was incredible. 5 stars!!!! The trip was amazing! We saw the baby sharks, the salt lake, the blue eye, the fishermen village and a belvedere. Our guide explained everything and kept us happy and engaged. I recommend him and this tour for everyone visiting the island : sal. You won't he disappointed! Amazing!!!!

Exceptional trip round the island
Saw many different aspects of the island as well as its main areas of interest.
The guide, Tony, was delightful. He had been brought up and lived here so he was very knowledgeable. He was also a great character, very entertaining. He looked after us beautifully. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Highly recommended. Thanks Tony and our great driver Danny too

Excellent sailing, but poor communication on meeting point & arrangements.
The actual sailing experience was excellent - boat was good with plenty of space and crew were entertaining. A couple of rounds of drinks, nuts and cakes included which all went down well. Snorkeling was available for those brave enough to venture into the chilly water !
What was poor, was the communication regarding where to meet.
Original instructions were to meet at Santa Maria pier, but since this has been washed away, this was not possible. No updated instructions were provided by the operator or Viator; we asked around and sought out the meeting place ourselves, which was at a minibus on the edge of the beach by the new Barcelo building site. We were fine as we are fairly fit, but the revised arrangements for getting to the catamaran involved a minibus ride to another beach, a walk across the sand to then get into a dinghy (tricky as the sea was slightly rough) and then getting from the dinghy onto the boat, with the same in reverse when we departed. Anyone with any even mild infirmity would have struggled to achieve this.
These are arrangements are presumably going to remain until the pier is completed (some time yet) so should be communicated to guests before they book.

Good fun!
You need to email or contact them a few days in advance to arrange hotel collection. Take water as there is a 10 minute hike to reach the top. Not suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Good fun, lovely staff. Doesn't take long. Views are amazing from the top.

The Unforgettable Day Tour Sal Experience
Our full-day tour of Sal, Cape Verde was an incredibly informative, insightful, and beautiful experience from start to finish. Calu, Salem, and Ze went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our tour was perfectly taken care of. Special shoutout to Calu for being so thorough, patient, and deeply knowledgeable—he made every stop meaningful. Salem amazed us with his eye for spontaneous, detailed photos that captured the essence of our day. And Ze was always there, patiently assisting and waiting with a warm smile. This team truly made our experience unforgettable—an absolute must for anyone visiting Sal!

Great experience on Sal island
This was a really good experience. The tour guides arrived early so we weren't kept waiting. They were really friendly and knew lots of facts about the island. The tour started with the lemon sharks, it was fairly busy but each group went to it's own area of the water to see the sharks - they are well worth having a look at as they swim round you and they really are very cute!
We were then taken to the salt lakes. It's really a must do trip as the island is called Sal based on all the salt. The water was really warm and we spent about 30 mins there which was more than enough.
Thank you for such a great trip! We would definitely recommend it to others.

Brilliant day
We had a fantastic day exploring the island yesterday.
Our driver Joshua was so knowledgable (even though he wasn’t our guide) and really helpful throughout the day.
We saw lots of wonderful sights and had a lovely home cooked lunch.
Great value for money and lovely people along the way.
Highlights were the sand boarding and seeing a turtle and lemon sharks swimming close by.
Tips - take lots of water it’s so hot in the back of the truck, not many places to get a drink or go to the toilet along the way so be prepared! It’s a bumpy ride through dusty dessert so sunglasses, hat and maybe something to cover your shoulders are a must.

Great Island Tour
Our tour guide, Raphael, did an excellent job of sharing his island. We enjoyed the walking tour of Mindelo to learn history and how the people live. The drive up to the peak on a hand built road was interesting, as was the trip to a lovely beach! The local lunch he arranged was very tasty!
