Wonderful guide and a heartfelt thankyou

We couldn’t recommend this highly enough. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t quite on our side, and to make matters worse, I suffered a nasty cut to my knee during the day. What could have easily turned into a difficult and disappointing experience was completely transformed by the incredible care and kindness of Sanoj. From the moment I was injured, Sanoj went so far above and beyond to look after me. She personally took me to a pharmacy, made sure I had everything I needed to treat my knee properly, and even ensured I had painkillers. She was genuinely concerned about my wellbeing and never once made me feel like I was being a burden. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was for the rest of the day. She made every effort to minimise the amount of walking I had to do, escorted us around and constantly made sure I was comfortable and okay. Her kindness, patience and compassion were truly exceptional. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after us. And despite everything, the tour itself was absolutely brilliant. It was fascinating to see the rum-making process from start to finish, the rum was fantastic, and Sanoj’s knowledge and passion really brought the whole experience to life. She was engaging, informative and incredibly welcoming. Sanoj was the absolute highlight of our day. Her professionalism, warmth and genuine care went far beyond what we could ever have expected. She didn’t just give us a great tour — she made sure we were safe, comfortable and looked after when I really needed it. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Sanoj for everything she did for us. You are an absolute credit to the tour and a wonderful ambassador for Mauritius. We will remember your kindness for a very long time. Lovely, well organised trip on a fantastic boat with a great crew.

Such a brilliant trip! It was very well organised, the boat was lovely, the crew were friendly and attentive - they got us drinks and collected the empties regularly saving us from clambering around the boat spilling things and leaving us to relax in style. The lunch was delicious - beautifully barbequed chicken, sausage and fish plus lots of lovely salads. There was plenty of snorkelling equipment. The vibe was very laid back, the music was great. The only minor complaint we had was not getting to stop and feed the monies, which my 3 children and I were all REALLY looking forward to. I think it's because some people on our boat were very rowdy and didn't respect the wildlife, but rather than telling them to be quiet the captain just steered us away very quickly, which was a shame.

A very enjoyable...

We had an amazing tour of southern Mauritius. The scenery stunning, and there was a great mix of nature, adventure, and local culture. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was well organised, never felt rushed, and gave us a fantastic taste of the south of the island. We did not stay in the usual pick-up area however the company was very willing to accommodate us without any extra cost. We furthermore were allowed to rearrange the itinerary without any complaints. A huge thanks for that!

Smooth and uneventful transfer

The driver was already waiting for us when we landed. There was a long line at immigration, and we were one of the last few to clear it. He contacted me in advance and gave clear instructions where he will be waiting for us with the sign or where we should meet him in case we get lost. He helped with the luggage and made sure we had all our bags with us. Transfer from the airport was smooth, uneventful and pleasant.

Amazing whale watching

Amazing to be able to see these amazing sperm whales in their natural habitat. The tour operators are respectful of the natural habitat of these amazing creatures and allow us to spend some time with them in a way that doesn't cause distress to them. Blessed to have seen a pod of 8 whales including mother and baby. The tour guides knowledge of the sperms whales was second to none. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

This catamaran excursion was incredible. The water color and coastal views were unreal — honestly, no photo from my phone did it justice, no matter what filter I tried. It’s one of those places that just has to be seen in person. The vibe on board was perfect. We played music on the catamaran, which immediately set a fun, relaxed tone, and the crew kept the drinks and food flowing the entire time. It felt social, easygoing, and effortlessly enjoyable rather than staged or touristy. Between the scenery, the atmosphere, and how well everything was run, this was easily one of the highlights of Mauritius. If you’re even considering a catamaran day trip here, don’t overthink it — just do it.

Good size catamaran for great seating

This is one of the smaller catamaran, however, the better option. With seating in the front , seating in the middle and the back with 360deg views. The larger catamaran don't have this option. If you want to avoid the large crowds on the large catamaran, then this is for you. Crew is lovely.
