What are people saying about Costa Rica

So much to see!
The trails are mostly flat and not too steep. There were a few slippery spots. Our guide, Nicole, was fantastic. She took and gave us great pictures using her spotting scope. She was very passionate about the animals and learning. She did well with people if all ages. I was there with a 5 year old and a 78 year old. Both enjoyed it. We saw three species of monkey, 2 species of sloth, 2 species of frog and so much more. We saw a few different habitats as well!
Try to park in the Chalo parking as directed but it was full for us. The owner at Buru Garden directed us to his parking. It was free as long as we had something at his restaurant afterward. We did and it was wonderful-worth it!

Excellent experience
The sloth watching tour was so excellent! Edison was a really great guide. We saw sloths (of course), as well as a bunch of other animals. It was so cool to see so many animals in their natural habitat and to learn so much about them from a knowledgeable guide. Would definitely recommend!

Frogs, and snakes, and bugs oh my!
Wonderful and wild night time walking tour. This was such a cool experience. A must book of you are looking for some real time out in the wild of the rainforest spotting all kinds of animals. We saw spiders, snakes, frogs, bats, fireflies, and so much more. The guide was knowledgeable and you could tell he was enjoying it as much as we were. He had a great eye for spotting things and was happy to answer questions. I don't think you could get this type of experience anywhere else, besides getting hopelessly lost in the rainforest at night, there were dozens of things he spotted that the rest of us would have just walked right past. Show up with a sense of wonder, some strong nerves and be prepared to see the untamed Costa Rica rainforest by night!

Great Tour! Definitely Recommend!
This was an awesome tour. I've been to a couple different other tours in La Fortuna over the years and this was my favorite. The staff is exceptional from start to finish. Augustin was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and funny! Will definitely be booking here again when I am back in La Fortuna!

10/10 recommend!
This was hands down the best tour ever. Seeing sloths was one of the main things I wanted to do in Costa Rica and our guide helped us to see a total of 9 sloths! We saw 8 three-toed sloths including a mother with her baby, and one two-toed sloth which is apparently rare to find because they move around to frequently. The guides got us an AWESOME video on my phone of a sloth climbing up a tree! We also got up close and personal with a Toucan, several amazing birds, and a bat. Hands down the best tour we did in La Fortuna!!

The Side by Side (Dune Buggy) is Amazing Fun!
One of the best experiences to do in Manuel Antonio. We got the "side by side" which is an ATV buggy (dune buggy). The tour was amazing and we went through many different terrains including down a river and through the palm trees. The tour finishes with a nice lunch at the local restaurant. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

Thank you Javier! Amazing tour!
Javier was an amazing guide! Incredible ability to find animals that we otherwise would not have seen. He was really knowledgeable and smart. We saw 3 sloths (1 baby), a snake, many Capuchin Monkeys throughout the park and several bats. Thank you Javier for an exceptional tour!

Hunt for a Quetzel :)
Roy was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Cloud Forest. As he explained there are species that you won’t see anywhere else. He was super patient helping us glimpse a Quetzel. We saw families of Coatys and lots of birds, Tarantula nest and he helped us understand the balance between the parasitic Ficus tree and the ectophyte plants. The sounds of the forest are unique. Definitely wouldn’t have seen a fraction of what we saw without a guide. Muddy and wet but the Hummingbirds Cafe at the end serves a welcome empanada and coffee. You have to buy a pass for the reserve in addition and they sell out so do it early.

"Our mangrove tour with...
"Our mangrove tour with Rudolfo was nothing short of spectacular. From the very beginning, his expertise and passion for the ecosystem were evident. He has an incredible eye for detail, pointing out a diverse range of animals that we definitely would have missed on our own. Not only was he a fountain of knowledge, but he also went above and beyond by capturing high-quality photos of the wildlife and our group, ensuring we had perfect memories to take home.
Beyond his technical skills, Rudolfo is a truly pleasant and kind individual. His English is excellent, making communication effortless and the entire experience educational and engaging. It is rare to find a guide who combines professional expertise with such a warm, welcoming personality. He turned a simple boat ride into an unforgettable adventure. If you are looking for an amazing experience in the mangroves, Rudolfo is the man to see—he is simply the best!"

I would definitely recommend this tour. Waterfall is crowded but still awesome. Horses are fairly easy to ride.
This was a pretty awesome experience. It was awesome for me because I have never been on a horse before but you also still get to see a very stunning waterfall. When you get to the start of the steps down to the waterfall, you leave the horses and have the option of doing the steps down to the waterfall or going to an observation point which is nice for a broader group of people. I did the steps down because you get to swim near the waterfall. The steps down and up were not extremely difficult. It gets a bit tiring on the way up but id say its still doable for most. The waterfall swimming area is very crowded since its open to the public which is unfortunate but you can still find your way to get your own pictures with enough effort. You do get about 45 mins to swim and hang out though so thats nice. And then a simple ride back on the horse. Would definitely recommend this tour

Great for families, groups, couples, and solo!
Definitely worth the price. I booked this for two, then found out an hour before the departure time that my boyfriend cheated on me. I broke up with him and went on the boat tour as planned-- it was awesome all by myself! There were probably about 50 people on board, but it felt decently spacious. There are seating options on deck, but also inside if you want to stay out of the sun. We sailed pretty far out from Coco Beach to a smaller beach on a little island. This took about an hour and a half. Then we had the option of taking the dingy to shore or snorkeling. I snorkeled for a bit, but then hung out on the shore for the rest of the time. The open bar is fantastic, the staff were super personable and attentive always asking if they could get you a new beverage. We had a great meal as well!! I would definitely do this experience again as it was beautiful, relaxing, and stress-free; just what I needed.

ATV/Zip experience
The atv portion was great. I think I was fortunate in only having 4 people in the group. I saw a group of over 10 and it looked like a miserable conga line. The halfway point being a waterfall was a nice surprise.
The zip lining experience was also amazing. Even with it being my first time, the safety instructors gave me the confidence as if it was my hundredth time. 10/10 bonus points for it being a rainstorm prior to speed the wires up!
