Start your tour with pickup at the port or your hotel around Jaco, Arenal, San Jose, Puntarenas, Guanacaste, or sorrunding areas. Alternatively, make your own way to Adventure Park Costa Rica. Upon arrival, a guide will meet and greet you, offering advice to get the most out of this thrilling experience—a unique and energizing canopy tour that zooms over 11 waterfalls on the longest zip line in Costa Rica and one of the oldest in the world.
This half-day tour features 25 ziplines, including two rappelling maneuvers and a swing over a hanging bridge. Breathe deeply and enjoy the fresh air and spectacular views of Nicoya Gulf from above the rainforest canopy.
The tour includes an off-road truck adventure (scenic views are free), plus an optional swim in a spring water mountain pool and a delicious Costa Rican lunch at a restaurant afterward. Be sure to bring a bathing suit, comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes for this exciting outing.

These ziplines were amazing and fun! Emerson and Wagner were our primary zip line guides with 3 other supporting members to complete our experience! This experience requires that you be able navigate rocky and hilly trails to access the zip line areas. The equipment appeared to be in good working order and safety was stressed along the way. The waterfalls were amazing and we can only envision what it would be like during the rainy season. The trip from the caldera port was well organized and we were picked up by a taxi in the shuttle pickup and drop off area of the port.

Beware! Viator will show this tour as an option if you search “La Fortuna,” despite the fact that this is 3+ hours away. I booked this thinking it was near La Fortuna, since that is how it was shown to me on Viator. It was only when I was planning my drive the night before that I realized it is a 3+ hour drive away. I messaged the tour operator asking for help, and they were kind enough to offer to rebook me to another day. However, this location is nowhere near where I plan to travel in Costa Rica so that is not helpful at all. After several messages, it is clear that the tour operator plans to keep my payment despite the fact that I ended up unable to participate due to the very misleading way this was shown as a La Fortuna option. Don’t make the same mistake I did!

We always try to assist our guests and offered the possibility to reschedule the visit for another available date.
Many of our visitors travel several hours to experience the waterfalls and zipline and we are proud that it is often described as one of the highlights of their trip to Costa Rica.

This is an underrated experience in my opinion. 18 zip lines through waterfalls and canyons is a thrill worth exploring. Give them a try; it’s definitely worth the drive and the time.

It takes awhile to get there and is a windy trip to the place then you are 4x4 to the first line so be prepared for a bumpy windy trip to start. But it is all worth it!! The views are spectacular and the guides are fabulous! Definitely recommend!

I saw this zipline tour 17 years ago and vowed to come back to Costa Rica to do it! Definitely worth it!
Key info: this tour requires you to be physically fit. Between the ziplines, there are steep and slippery trails to navigate. Also, the zipline is a self braking system, so you have to have the strength to brake. The swimming hole was partway through the adventure, so most of us declined because we didnt want to zipline in our wet clothes after. It was about 12 ft deep they said. There also was one line which was rappelling NOT zipline. If you have never been rappelling, it was a bit nerve wracking to go backwards, but the guides were great and helped everyone.
Getting to the start of the zipline involved a very fun but bumpy ride. Use the bathroom before getting your gear on, thats the last opportunity. We ate lunch before we arrived, so I am not sure what food/drink options were there. This is a small hotel, small tour operator.....if you want something more "upscale" or "commercial", try Diamante. Also, check Google maps to see how far this is from where you are staying. It was a 3 hr drive for us (but still worth it).

Firstly the guides Enrique and Wagner were AMAZING! Friendly, experienced, professional and made sure we were safe and comfortable. The course was spectacular with waterfalls, howlers and butterflies everywhere. Best zip line experience I’ve ever been on including Hawaii. And lunch at the Tucan restaurant after with a view over the hillside all the way to the ocean topped off our time there. Fantastic!!

Tried to book a zip lining experience for my family and wanted to book In La Fortuna. This experience came up under La fortuna city. I booked and then a couple hours later I tried to look at the directions to see how early we need to leave. This is in another city 3hrs away and they would not refund or switch to another day. I tried to contact them all day the day I booked and the next morning. I never received a response. Plus on the cancellation rules. It states it requires perfect weather to actually participate in this adventure. It was storming. Still no answer. I had to contact Viator and they requested a refund and was only able to get 50% back. So I lost $216. False advertisement. This booking should not come up if I specifically searched a certain city. There was zip lining in the town and 6 mins away from where I was staying in La Fortuna. Even if I made a mistake it was storming so why not refund me due to weather? They took advantage of the situation.

My friends and I had a blast! The ziplines were super fun and the tour guides were very helpful and friendly! The trip up the mountain was a bit rough so be prepared for that (very bumpy). One cool thing that isn’t mentioned is that when we got done with about 1/2 of the ziplines they stopped for a break and we got to swim in a pool next to a waterfall. We were pleasantly surprised! Overall we had a good time and we would definitely go back!

This was a wonderful experience!!! Staff was friendly. Need to wear tennis shoes. There’s an option to swim at a waterfall so wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet.

Standing on the platforms, our legs were eaten alive by biting midges and chiggers. We spent the rest of the trip with itchy sores all over our legs and we definitely would have passed on this excursion to avoid that. The operator needs to warn about bugs and advise to use repellent

Normally we do recommend our clients to wear repellent as some people are very allergic to mosquitoes or very sweet. In the information we have in Viator we warn to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent as the tour is in a natural forest. Tour operators made us wait an extra hour for others to arrive, which messed up our timing for later in the day. They need to add to their description that it is self-stopping. Meaning that instead of there being a stop that is activated by the guides, you have to stop yourself. The climb down from one platform to the next is very difficult. Especially for anyone that has knee problems. The views and the waterfalls were beautiful. The guides were kind, but most of them had very little ability with English.

Recent rains made experience even more awesome!!! Waterfalls were spectacular, do not let rain deter you from enjoying this tour. Guides were the BEST! Safety wasn't a concern, because they had plenty of experience and it showed. Plus they were very personable. Lunch after was very good. Great hamburgers, fries and COLD beer. All reasonably priced!

We were the only two on this tour because we were there during rainy season. I was a first timer. Our guides Wagner and Enrique were very knowledgable and helpful. The experience was exhilarating and fun! We went over several waterfalls and through the rainforest. It was beautiful scenery. If you are in the area, you must do this! I would recommend insect repellent and hiking shoes/boots as the terrain between lines was a bit muddy and slippery. Also, I wanted to note that to get to the start, we had to ride in an off-road vehicle over some pretty rough terrain for a couple miles seemingly in the middle of nowhere.

Wow! As someone who is not a fan of heights I was worried this would not be for me, but this is something for everyone. The guides were patient and helpful and I never felt in danger. The experience starts with the drive from check-in to the start of the zip line. Then, you walk through the canopy to get to your first line. Over the course of the next hour or so, you zip over beautiful waterfalls and traverse down through the trees. Every step is an experience and beautiful to see. Dinner at the end was the icing on the cake.

An absolutely amazing experience! We had a small group of 4 people with 3 guides, allowing us plenty of time to enjoy the wildlife and scenery. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to try things other than the traditional zip line, such as rappelling and tandem zip lining, as well as swimming in a waterfall. I would recommend this to any active individuals. Children and those who are unable to hike down steep inclines may struggle.

Fun from start to finish! Of all the adventurous things we did on our vacation, this was everyone's fave! From the fun ride in the back of a 4x4 up the mountain to zipping on down all of those zip lines going from one breathtaking view to the next. Words can't even say how absolutely awesome it was to zip line over such natural beauty. The guides were fun and incredibly nice.
They even took our dinner orders before we left and had lunch for us when we got back. Perfect because we were all starving! We ate on a beautiful patio with an overlook of the rain forest. So peaceful and serene that we didn't want to leave! If we ever go back...we're staying a couple days at that hotel!

This was a great experience for our family. The views were beautiful. The Zipline team was great with us and very friendly. Although one of the lines was down and we had to hike through the jungle to get to the next one, it was still amazing. You should believe them though when they say you should be in some decent physical condition to do this adventure.

With beautiful views you can’t go wrong. Tour guides were great and I felt completely safe at all times. Not sure if there were 25 zip lines tho. At time of booking the description of the trip and “what to expect” it said lunch was included but (which I didn’t think I needed to read) in the exclusions they said lunch was no longer included. :(
I believe that between the restaurant (the meet up place) and the tour operators, one of them should have taken care of lunch or snacks at least due to the false advertising.

We had an amazing day. The transfer/driver was very helpful, and polite.
The zip line staff were very good. We had fun but they always put safety first.
Glad we read the reviews before going, as we were prepared and enjoyed the swim half way during the zip lines. And to top it all we saw monkeys up in the trees above us.🙂

This tour is so much fun. The staff is outstanding. The ride to the first zipline is an experience on the back of a pickup. The tour also includes 1 repelling experience. The natural scenery is fantastic. I recommend this tour to anyone in good physical condition.

Tour operator cancelled the tour after waited for them to show up. Waited for 1/2 hour, while trying to contact them without success. Finally received a What’s App message saying their van broke down and they cancelled. Please refund payment immediately.

It was very unfortunate for us to have to cancel your tour. It was all due to a disagreement with the driver. Two clients cancelled and the driver confused the last names thinking that you were the ones who had cancelled, and picked up only two clients, we asked the driver for an explanation but the company fired him anyway.
Our sincere apologies. If one day you come back to Costa Rica we invite you to visit us and pay only 50% of the tour of your companion and yours would be free. Once again apologies for what happened.
