For those that are arriving to the starting point on your own, we meet for our tour in front of Bar El Ancla under the Big Tree with the concrete seating around it. Please be at the departure location by 1:15 pm. We try to be underway by 1:30 pm.

We bought tickets for 4 hours of boating, drinks and snorkeling..this experience went above and beyond our expectations! The open bar made most amazing drinks and quick! With one bartender I wasn't sure but wow! The food- incredible. The snorking was awesome. We went to a clean crystal clear beach where we seen sooo many manterays. Something stung my arm and when I returned to the boat one of the staff got me something on a paper towel that made the marks on my arm disappear. The staff was awesome and even took us to the spots and pointed out all the wildlife - dolphins , sea turtles and more. They were friendly and informative! Can't rave more about this trip! Me and my 3 friends went on many different catermarans(mind my spelling) and we all agreed this one was by far the best! Thank you so much !

Definitely worth the price. I booked this for two, then found out an hour before the departure time that my boyfriend cheated on me. I broke up with him and went on the boat tour as planned-- it was awesome all by myself! There were probably about 50 people on board, but it felt decently spacious. There are seating options on deck, but also inside if you want to stay out of the sun. We sailed pretty far out from Coco Beach to a smaller beach on a little island. This took about an hour and a half. Then we had the option of taking the dingy to shore or snorkeling. I snorkeled for a bit, but then hung out on the shore for the rest of the time. The open bar is fantastic, the staff were super personable and attentive always asking if they could get you a new beverage. We had a great meal as well!! I would definitely do this experience again as it was beautiful, relaxing, and stress-free; just what I needed.

The snorkeling and sunset tour was incredible. The boat ride was fun and adventurous and the scenery was absolutely stunning. The crew made the experience even better with great energy l along the way. Highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Costa Rica, literally a must see.

We had the best time on our sunset cruise! The catamaran was clean, the staff were so friendly and fun, the lunch was yummy, and the bar had a ton of options. The excursion was well-organized. We felt safe and cared for. Whenever a whale was nearby, they cut the engine and the music for the well-being of the animals (and this allowed us to observe those gorgeous creatures). We had a perfect afternoon and would highly recommend taking a cruise with Marlin del Rey!

Wowww! What a perfect way to end my trip to Costa Rica. The crew was kind, attentive, and friendly and helped everyone safely board the little boat to get us on the catamaran. We we very lucky to have dolphins swimming right next to us within the first ten minutes of sailing. The lunch and drinks were tasty and on our return to Coco Beach, sailing into the sunset, we saw flying mantas. Pura vida.

We had a good time and didn't regret going, but I feel like the description really overpromised. The post makes it sound like it will be a great marine life viewing cruise - but the whole 3 hrs we were motoring along, we saw nothing and the crew made no efforts to find or point sea life out. No dolphins turtles, rays, etc - it was just club music thumping from the loud PA and people having lots of drinks. And the snorkeling was ok - we saw a couple of colorful fish but not much.

Great day on the water.😍 The crew was very friendly and looked after all our needs. Had some great laughs and met many lovely people. The ride home while the sun was setting was spectacular. Loved the opportunity to leave the boat and do some snorkeling. 🤿 Would definitely do thos again. 🤩

I had a great time on this boat tour! My favorite part was being able to swim to the shore and snorkel — such a fun and unique experience. The food was tasty, the drinks were refreshing, and the views were absolutely beautiful. Definitely a memorable trip!

Fun boat ride, good music, good drinks. Great location for snorkeling. My only complaint would be that they ran out of food too early! We were one of the last groups to return to the boat after snorkeling and there was no chicken, little beans and rice, and only chip crumbs. They should make sure to provide enough food for all guests! (Especially if you are feeding them lots of alcohol)

This was a great tour on a very nice and large catamaran. The snorkeling was good (not the bright colors and crystal clear water of Hawaii or South Paciifc, but nice area next to deserted beach with a good selection of fish). The staff on the boat was fun and very attentive. Drinks and food were excellent (included open bar with good selection of blended and mixed drinks) and boat was very stable. Highly recommend!

before the snorkeling they did not say there was a possibility that there would be a jelly fish that can sting you. So i got stung by a jelly fish in my leg . Plus we just went to one beach to snorkel. I guess its lame to just visit one. but i should say the sunset was spectacular!

Great experience. Didn’t get to see much snorkeling, but it was still fun. Lunch was great. Drinks were great. Music was great too. I wish the catamaran had their sails up. I wanted a true sailing experience, but captain kept a slow steady speed so if you are the type to get sea sick, I don’t think you would have any problem on this trip. Crew was very attentive too. This catamaran was a single level, but you still could lay up top on a towel. No lounge chairs. Boat was kept very clean. Would recommend this excursion.

I finally had a wonderful time on this tour. Here are the cons, We had a hard time figuring out where to meet up with the group, The food and drinks were OK, During our first time snorkeling, 2/3 of our group were stung by small “medusas”. Hear the pros, the sites were amazing. We saw these really cool iridescent, flying fish, dolphins, sea urchin, what looks like either Angel or Clownfish… It was beautiful. The food and drinks were OK. It was a great sized boat, and there was more than enough room for all of the people on board. I recommend wearing shoes on board in the bathroom. All all we would do it again.

Beautiful trip on the sailboat to the swim site. Enjoyable experience for over 70 year old, easily to get on and off boat to swim. Food and drink were wonderful. The sail back was awesome with the sun going down just as we got back!!!

It was a relaxing ride to the beach/snorkeling area. I enjoyed my time on the boat. I didn't visit the beach, but it looked beautiful. I spent most of my time snorkeling, which I love. The food they provided was good. Especially after all the swimming I did.

Wow - we cannot say enough good things about this tour. I booked it on a whim and it was one of our favorite things we did while in Coco. The boat was large so it didn't feel crowded and the service on board was top notch. The crew were very lively and made sure we never had an empty drink in our hands. The bar was unlimited and they definitely helped you to maximize that! We sailed for about an hour to the snorkel spot and stopped to watch a humpback whale on the way. We also saw lots of dolphins and stingrays jumping out of the water. We snorkeled in a private cove and saw lots of fish. We then got back on the boat for a late lunch/early dinner that was delicious (BBQ chicken, beans, chips, salsa, fruit, and cookies), before sailing back to Coco to watch the sunset. This was a very relaxing catamaran tour and would highly recommend it!

What a great way to end our trip in Costa Rica. We cruised out of Coco. A little nervous of the meeting spot and the GPS took us right there. From then on no worries. The crew was fantastic and all were super nice and very attentive to all guests. The hardest work crew member made fabulous drinks. We had amazing weather and saw lots of wildlife, stingrays, pelicans and many tropical fish during the snorkeling following the crews recommendations on where to go. The food provided was great. On our return we had a spectacular sunset and were able to see a few pods of dolphins. This excursion was the highlight for a few members of the family. Shout to Dillon on the crew as well for always going the extra mile to make this experience even better.

Good vibes and great sunset on the boat!! Lots of fun people! Staff was great and at your service the whole time!! Even refilling drinking while we laid out on the deck. Snorkeling was murky but we had fun swimming. Music and food were great!! If you are looking for a nice relaxing, drinking excursion with beautiful views then this is the one.
