Worth a visit
There's a lot to learn about this synagogue, from the reason it looks like a cathedral to the history of the people who built it. The tour guide presented the story clearly and answered all our questions. Really beautiful building and the outdoor museum of famous and accomplished Jews from Hungary was well done.

We had a wonderful tour...
We had a wonderful tour with our guide, David, learning the history of the beautiful Dohany Street Synagogue and other Synagogues in the Jewish Quarter pre and post WW2 and the Ghetto era. It was most interesting to hear his grandparents war time experiences followed by the Soviet period.

More Than a Bar Crawl—A Journey Through Budapest
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Budapest! If you’re thinking about experiencing the city’s famous ruin bars, don’t hesitate—book this tour.
Our guide, Bianka, was absolutely fantastic. She was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Budapest. She shared fascinating stories about the history of the ruin bars, the neighborhoods they transformed, and the unique culture that makes them unlike anything else in Europe. Her storytelling added so much depth to places we otherwise would have simply walked through.
What I appreciated most was her style as a guide. She never rushed us, encouraged questions, and answered every one with enthusiasm and insight. It felt more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend than being led through a scripted tour. She was incredibly accommodating and made everyone feel welcome.
The three ruin bars we visited each had their own distinct personality, and I never would have discovered or fully appreciated them on my own. Beyond the drinks, the tour offered a fascinating glimpse into Budapest’s history, creativity, and nightlife. We also enjoyed sampling local street food, which was the perfect complement to the evening.
Whether it’s your first time in Budapest or a return visit, this tour is an absolute must. You’ll leave with a much deeper appreciation for the city’s culture, incredible recommendations for the rest of your stay, and memories that last long after the night is over. Thank you, Bianka, for such an unforgettable evening!

Budapest countryside wine tasting
This wine tasting was the most unique wine tastings I’ve ever experienced, and in a very good way. Mickey was amazing. He was so informative and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve already recommended this tour to a friend who will be visiting Budapest in August.

Best tour in Europe
Luis, our tour guide has been sculpting this tour so as to hit the highlights of Hungarian food while avoiding the highly populated tourist areas. The food was excellent plus we could converse with him in a quiet environment.
The group was small which made it ideal.
Come very hungry because there is a lot of food.
The walk is flat and without obstacles.
Lots of food information and Hungarian history.
The most enjoyable tour I’ve had in Europe so far.

Great food , great host
George was a wonderful host and gave us plenty of history about the city as well as inviting us to eat some great local foods.
I always sign up to this type of your as I would never consider trying half the foods you get to sample on these tours. I had to pace myself not eating too much too early into the tour.
Also great as a solo traveller to meet other people and hang out with a great group of people for a few hours

Don’t miss this gem if you love your wine.
This was one of the best experiences I had in Budapest that I wasn’t expecting. The wine tasting and food was excellent and generous. The knowledge of the person to took us through the tasting was knowledgeable and at no time disinteresting. A thoroughly memorable experience that I would highly recommend.

Fun class and interesting information
The tour of the market was quick, the guide bought the food that was prearranged for her to pick up. She shared information about the place and the food with a nice informational talk afterward about Hungary in general.
The walk moved quickly through the market and to the apartment where she cooked Chicken Paprikas and it was delicious! The our is not recommended for anyone with physical disabilities or trouble walking and you have to keep up with the group or you could get lost! One of our friends was having trouble walking and there was no grace and there were steps involved also. The guide was nice and we all had fun cooking.

Fascinating Wine Tasting and Education
What an interesting wine tasting! A map showing the wine growing regions, a lot of information and thoughtfulness from the guide, and really interesting Hungarian tastes complemented the tasting perfectly. I can't remember a more informative and fascinating tasting. This was such a wonderful and educational evening.

Delightful Tasting in the Heart of Budapest
Extremely enjoyable experience in a character-filled cellar in the heart of Budapest.
Thomas led the group on an informative journey detailing the history of viticulture in Hungary. The wines presented were delicious and varied, truly highlighting the different varietals and flavor profiles available from Hungarian producers. The charcuterie and cheeses accompanying the wines were authentic products from local artisanal farms, and paired wonderfully with the wines.
Definitely recommend investing in this experience, and will be ordering wines again and again for delivery to the US!

A very good day trip...
A very good day trip outside of the city. The guide was informative and helpful. We had a good driver. We had a lovely walk around with stop for coffee and cake then a good lunch at Puszta then an excellent carriage ride. Interesting walk around stables and a good show where you could crack your own whip if you wanted
