An Afternoon of Exceptional Sights with an Exceptional Guide
Our afternoon flew by as our guide Sean drove us on a 360-degree tour of Auckland. He delivered stunning scenery - whether the Wintergardens, Cathedral or Mount Eden -and an impressive amount of knowledge about each sight and its history. It was a great introduction to Auckland, delivered with care and humor.

Mesmerising! Excellent guides
This tour was absolutely fantastic!
Aaron and Shane were our 2 guides for the day and they were both brilliant! They were so friendly and knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information with the group.
The journey to Waitomo and back from Auckland was long, but certainly not boring. There were comfort breaks along the way and Aaron pointed out lots of landmarks. The other guests on the tour were also great to chat to.
The caves themselves were spectacular! The glowworms absolutely covered the ceiling and walls of the cave. It was like being in Avatar world. The short boat ride was mesmerising and Shane was more than happy to take and share photos. I also loved that there was a section where photography was not allowed, as this really made the group fully immerse themselves and appreciate the nature and amazing surroundings.
The second cave was also super interesting with some incredible formations.
Overall a fantastic day out. I recommend the tour to anyone who doesn't have a car and is based in Auckland, who wants to experience something truly beautiful and unique

Delightful
There is a lot of walking, some of it uphill, otherwise, it is such a worthwhile tour, and we were absolutely delighted. We took the tours that included lunch, which said it was at the green dragon, but really it was in a tent next to the green dragon. Nevertheless, the food was excellent and definitely worth the money we spent. As we were there in the shoulder season before they close? Some of the adult T-shirts were no longer available at Coast. We couldn’t find any coasters that didn’t that didn’t have mugs attached to them and we really didn’t need any more mugs. We were very happy with the tour and would recommend it.

Wonderful tour of the West Side of Auckland
We had a fantastic day with our guide, Harriet. She gave us so much insight into Auckland and the history of the city as well as the importance of native species to New Zealand. Each stop was well worth the visit and I’d happily recommend this tour to friends visiting Auckland.

Windy adventure on the harbour
We had a great time with Pippa, Alec and Olivia. The crew was quite friendly and the sailing was top notch. It was a windy day and the boat keeled over and glided effortlessly through the harbour. I would not hesitate to recommend. A true sailing adventure!

We enjoyed this trip from...
We enjoyed this trip from the moment Aaron picked up Us at the hotel. While driving he gave us many informations about NZ, its population, vegetation, food, great places to visit. The all day was well organized with the right time at each place. The discovery of geysers and of the Māori culture will stay a great memory.

An Auckland must do
With a couple of extra days in Auckland I had asked on FB for recommendations on what to do. A couple of contributors replied that this was an absolute "must do". We duly booked it for the afternoon of our arrival. With glorious sunny weather it seemed we were all set for a memorable afternoon. Unfortunately when we turned up we were advised that due to winds it would not go ahead. Clearly safety was of utmost importance so gold star for that. We were offered the opportunity to receive a refund or to rearrange. Staff at the desk went out of their way to assist us. We were lucky enough to be able to rearrange and for the sail to go ahead. And it was certainly a memorable one for our last day in Auckland
I think the yacht can take 30 passengers but i don't think there was a full contingent. The crew were friendly whilst at the same time being professional. Safety procedure were clearly explained to us. The crew explained the history of the yacht to us and engaged with us continually. There is an opportunity to actually help with crewing the yacht and it was certainly tempting to .join in. However we just took the opportunity to sit back and enjoy an exhilarating experience. It might not be the cheapest of experiences but we loved every minute and were so glad we did it.

Te puia and poly spa
My sister and I had a great time with Matt as our guide. We decided to do te puia and the Polynesian spa and I would definitely recommend both! We started our day at te puia and learning about the culture and natural wonders of te puia and Rotorua. A truly wonderful experience with some great information. We ended our trip at the Polynesian spa and it’s was so relaxing! It’s not something I would ever choose to do personally but my sister really wanted to it and convinced me, and we both had a wonderful time. I would recommend bringing your own bathing suit and flip flops for the spa, both are available for purchase at the spa tho. Shampoo conditioner and lotion are all available at the spa for free use as well so don’t worry about bringing your toiletries. We decided to have lunch at the spa cafe and it was super tasty (get one of the fresh squeezed juices!) the spa has some great skin care to try out and purchase as well but I do think te puia had the better gift shop all around (one of the best that we’ve been to over the last few days if I’m being honest we did the majority of our souvenir shopping there) over all highly recommend and I would do it again in a heart beat.

Cathedral Cove/Hot Water Beach
Trip to Cathedral Cove/Hot Water beach was excellent. Our tour guide (Jamie) was knowledgeable and friendly. He made the day really enjoyable. The time allotted at each location was adequate. The hike to/from Cathedral Cove was moderate. I would recommend sturdy shoes (sneakers).

What an adventure
The drive from Aukland to the Hobbiton Movie Set is about 2 and half hours. You will have an opportunity to buy Souvenirs at the beginning .. get them while you can because you don't come back to the souvenir shop.
You get back on the bus and drive to the Shire where you are guided by an expert employed by the Hobbiton Movie Set. Your tour is strictly timed as they are trying to put 2500 people through in a day and not have everyone tripping over each other or getting in each other's way. It is an absolutely amazing experience and as long as everyone is cooperative, it will go smoothly. Each group is about 46 people.
There's so much to see .. and there's a lot of hills. It is not for wheelchairs, not for anyone using a walker, or have mobility issues.

Fantastic visit to Rotorua.
Beautiful lakes, Geysers, gondola ride
Fantastic food
Great visit to Maori Arts and crafts museum
One needs at least 2 to 3 days to cover several beautiful sites and locations in the city of Rotorua.
All 3 guides were simply superb.. Daryl, Hermes and Pete

A good introduction to...
A good introduction to Auckland . Fun and located centrally giving you a view of the entire area. Tower also has adventurous activities like walking outside the building and hanging over the edge with safety harnesses and a 700 foot controlled jump to the bottom
