Great communication from tour provider arriving at meeting point as promised.
My partner is wheelchair bound but this presented no problem on this tour with our guide Israel eager to assist.
This is a great half day tour and recommend to give you a chance to see around outside of the city.

The worst tour guide. If you state you speak English it should be understandable English. We couldn't understand a word she was saying and she couldn't understand us. She used a prerecorded tape to explain where we were going next. We could at least understand that. Really didn't k ow where she was going. The worst tour of the trip.

Isreal was and outstanding tour guide. We traveled all round Auckland and he pointed out points of interest along with a scenic overlook of Auckland. Very knowledgeable with facts and historical significance.

Jun, a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, provided us with an informative and memorable tour of Auckland during Christmas. Despite the city being closed, he thought on his feet and managed to show us around, making it a truly special experience for my wife and me. He even brought a camera and captured some wonderful photos.
The car was clean and well-maintained, and the stops we made were all great.

Brandon was our tour guide on this small tour group. His communication leading up to the excursion was excellent. He was also very knowledgeable during the tour, and very accommodating dropping us off in the city on our return to the ship.
I would recommend this half day tour as it gives you a little insight to the area, well worth it.
Being a small group was also really good.
My only negative was my friend and I ended up in the back seats ‘Not comfortable, and I couldn’t hear half of what he was saying’

A great tour of the city highlights. Loved our guide Israel who has lived here for 25 years. We had a small group of 3 and I was traveling solo. Being with a small group with a local is the best way to learn the history and the culture.

This was an excellent tour of many of Auckland’s scenic locations. Israel was our guide and he is very knowledgeable and accommodating as well as being an excellent driver. We are “slow walkers” and he was very patient and caring. Highly recommended.

The Aukland half day to was a great way to get acquainted with this beautiful city. Our guide Israel was so kind and willing to tailor the tour to our needs including the start time and the places we visited. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Israel made sure that we visited all of Auckland’s key sites and he made sure we had Instagrammable photos from each. I give this tour and guide my highest recommendation.

Israel was a great tour guide. Communication with pickup point was great. Very knowledgeable about the city and the culture of the native people. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We did not go to two of the sites listed, but were substituted with other just as wonderful sites. The half day tour or 3.5 hours worked perfectly for us on a cruise. We had plenty of time to get back to the ship have lunch and then go back out to the city and explore on our own. We enjoy having a private tour ( there were only 4 of us) and Israel made it a great day. Thank you for the group photo!

Israel was a wonderful guide, going out of his way to cater to our wish list. The hokey pokey ice cream and the Kauri Trees were not on the original tour. His knowledge of New Zealand was very enlightening. We would recommned him for future visitors.

Amazing Auckland tour! Israel was an outstanding guide — knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great stories. We visited Harbour Bridge (loved hearing about the Nippon Clip-On), Devonport, Mt Eden, Maungauika, and ended at the beautiful Auckland Domain Wintergardens. A perfect day — highly recommend!

We saw the whole area with great care on enough details on the area. The driver was very kind, even helped us find an ATM when it was requested. The driver, Israel, was fun - entertaining, engaging, and very safe. His knowledge of the great sites to get good views was fantastic. I cannot express in words for this review how good we enjoyed this tour. Do it if you want to see Auckland, especially from a cruise ship.

This is a very informative tour and very relaxed at the same time. NO RUSH. Our driver / guide was Gagan. At NORTH-HEAD Gagan showed us the 'Disappearing Gun' and the other cannons and their barrels shut with logs of wood. He also took us inside the tunnels .
The tour operator has special permission from the Auckland City Council to take tourists to the very top of Mount Eden. So we were spared of the climb. He dropped us off right next to the crater and explained about the volcanoes of Auckland. He also gave a very informative and detailed explanation about TAPU the Sacred Spaces of the MAORI and their fight for their cultural identity.
This tour covers some of the tourist spots that are not marked on the Hop-on-Hop-off bus. Like the beautiful ROSE GARDEN.
I was looking for some tour that would be open on Dec 25th -and simple chanced upon this one. Very Glad that I did. For those intrested in seeing an learning a little extra about Auckland, this is a really good tour.

THIS IS THE WAY TO GO. We took a private tour with Israel when we disembarked from our cruise at Auckland. I am usually nervous about finding the driver when disembarking but Israel was on the ball. He sent a picture of himself, a picture of where he would be, and described his car PLUS license plate (!) and kept me up to date on when he would be there (we used WhatsApp to chat). We walked out of customs and he was right there. We had emailed before about possible places to see but he surprised us with a couple of extra places that were just beautiful. And we learned more about the city too. Israel has a slight Asian accent -- but he's been in Auckland for over 20 years so he is easy to understand. He took photos of us (which was really nice, I'm not good at group shots) and sent them to us. Easy to talk to, very responsive, and a safe driver.

Israel was an amazing tour guide- so personable and a great conversationalist! He took so many awesome pictures and gave us some wonderful recommendations for other tour sites, souvenirs to bring home to our loved ones as well as detailed information about each of the sites he drove us to. We really appreciate his flexibility especially when it came to our interests as we drove to the different places on our tour. We even got to stop at a beautiful rose garden in the middle of Auckland along the way to one of the sites, which was much appreciated. We highly recommend Israel!
