Penguin enclosure being worked on so smaller than usual. Jellyfish section cool, overall tickets should be cheaper for what the centre offers.
Very enjoyed and amazing i need to recommend to our friend and relative, ill back again for this amazing experience
Small aquarium but had some interesting sea life. The shark tunnel and penguins were the best part! There were too many penguins in the enclosure.
Second time visiting Kelly's and it amazed us as much as the First. The best aquarium in the southern hemisphere with fantastic penguin colony. We'll worth a visit, close to the Auckland CBD
The entry price is much cheaper on Viator the day we decided to go. Easy scan and go entrance. The place itself is a small aquarium. If it's a rainy day or need a break from the weather, this a great place to go. It really is 1-1.5 hours max unless you have small children.
Was such a fun way to start the day!!! My partner and I went first thing and the staff were so so lovely and the experience was so much fun. Once we had walked through, we did have to go back to see the penguins just one more time!!
Really enjoyable and good prices
The people were really nice and had decent amount of info on hand, very thankful
Haven’t been here for the longest time, since a child and now taking my children, a lot has changed, was fun checking out all the wildlife.
A morning well spent here at Sea Life… Great staff and enjoyed the Penguin area though we missed the Blue Penguin during our visit!
Great tour to fill a few hours while in Auckland especially with kids. Great, well laid out tour of marine related items of interest.
This is amazing place my kids really enjoyed specily Penguin 🐧 kids love them ❤️ they reminded Happy Feet move
Awesome experience for all ages, must do if your in auckland. Good price and the photos at the end are worth buying
Yesterday I visited the Auckland Aquarium and had a really enjoyable experience. The aquarium is clean, well organised, and designed to be engaging for visitors of all ages. The glass tunnel was definitely a highlight, as it was exciting to see sharks and stingrays swimming above. The penguin section was also impressive, and their environment looked well maintained and close to natural. Informational signs were clear and educational, which made the visit both fun and informative. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they were happy to answer questions. Overall, Auckland Aquarium is a great place for a relaxing and interesting visit, especially for families and tourists.
Fascinating experience for all ages. A lot of interactive activities for young kids, but also very interesting for adults.
If someone has additional to spare in this city I would strongly recommend to visit this place. You will not regret it.
WOW 🙃. Took us a bit to figure how to get there by bus but was definitely worth the effort! It was amazing to walk through and my Uncle who is 84, was thoroughly entertained. We all enjoyed ourselves.
Very well presented. Impressive displays. Penguins, sharks, beautiful seahorses, jellyfish and more. Definitely worth your time!
A wonderful little place to visit and get up close with penguins and turtles. Beautiful little interactive experiences for the kids and educational facts. Not too big so great place to go after days of long trekking
We had lots of fun as it was my birthday and my daughters birthday my partner also enjoyed it there we would love to go back one day
Fantastic! Well worth the money we all loved it and found it to be great value animals looked to be well cared for
The start of the aquarium was a really elaborate recreation of an Antarctic expedition cabin with really interesting information and artifacts!! What we did see was gorgeously maintained, clean, interactive, and great for children with a little play area and digital tank to create your own fish! Just wish it had been a little bigger with more sea life to see.
We really enjoyed the entire experience. Loved the penguins! We got there in time for their feeding.
Easy to get to from Auckland CBD, whether by Uber or walking (if the weather is cooperative). Wet easy to navigate through the attraction, and while generally one-way walking traffic, it is easy to take a few steps back to capture that perfect penguin photo (and there will be plenty of those). A very informative tour with lots of placards and information. Easily done in about 2 hours. The Penguin Experience requires booking ahead online (well ahead) as it sells out.
The awesome under tunnel sea passage with sharks, stingrays, turtles, huge fishes just above the head.
This was our third visit and we still loved it as much as the first time we went. Buying through Viator was simple and I’d also highly recommend this company.
The penguins are fascinating to watch and the moving “footpath” is amazing. Allow at least an hour but we stayed longer!
It was very hard to get in as we brought tickets through viator and they couldn't expect them so our day was ruined and kids where upset but luckily we had enough money to buy more tickets so ended up been an expensive day
The surprise of seeing all the penguins. Had no idea there were that many. Seems like they are well taken care of. Loved all the exhibits. Such a delightful experience.
This is a great place for kids. A great penguin exhibit as well as one on Antarctic explorers. The aquarium portion is. Limited
Great place but impossible to get hold of anyone by telephone and difficult to get a reply by email.
Not all of us are computer savvy....
Very nice aquarium and a great way to see the native sea life in Auckland. We have teens who enjoyed but I think smaller children would really love the activities here. We arrived a day late due to flight issues but the staff were SO kind accommodating that they still honored our tickets.
