Outstanding tour, outstanding guide Selena
Great way to see and learn about the Acropolis, the Parthenon, history, and mythology. Selena was an outstanding guide — shared fascinating information with great energy and paced the tour and content perfectly. We got so much more out of the experience because of all that she shared. Group size was perfect. Loved having a fast track to get into the museum vs waiting in the long line.

Book this tour!! Its a small group and nice stops
My son and I had a blast at this tour. Teddy/Theo is the best guide I ever had. A really nice touring bus (with airco!!) with a small group. He keeps you up to date while picking up from the hotel. From the moment you get in the bus the atmosphere is amazing. Teddy really loves his job and is extremely knowledgeable. My 12 year old son had a blast and we learned so much.
You do have a stop over at the lake (for pictures) and at the beach (for something to eat or a swim). You arrive well in time for the sunset at the temple and the ride back is also really pleasant.

Amazing Experience in Meteora!
What can I say from the experience apart for the fact it met all of my expectations!
First let me start off by saying I wasn’t sold on the idea of this activity given the very long journey with the lingering doubt I could potentially be disappointed by what I see. Having very few days in Athens, it also meant going on this journey would mean sacrificing a full precious day in the city. All of these doubts would soon be forgotten when setting my eyes on the first monasteries and seeing the dreamlike landscapes unfold before me as our very friendly and knowledgeable guide brought us on multiple stops to each monastery and photo stops in the mountains which look like something out of the movie Avatar! If you have some doubts, I hope this review speaks to you when I say I have been converted into a believer and highly recommend the lengthy trip to see with your very own eyes why UNESCO choose this as one of its world heritage site, which in unlike anything I had ever seen in this world! It will definitely be a place I never forget, and the pictures I have taken on this trip are simply out of this world!
Now for those wondering about the subtle details of the tediously long journey (which I didn’t seem to find particularly clear when booking the trip), here’s the way things unfolded for my experience.
The total trip time averages 4-4.5 hours each way. There were no washrooms inside the voyager type bus, but the driver stops halfway (so after about 2 hours) to this cafeteria type restaurant which has a large number of washrooms and also a convenience store to buy any junk food and refreshment you could want for the journey. The first time you stop at this place is a quick 15 minute break for washrooms and snacks. The second time you will return to this place is on the way back when the stop is slightly longer given they allow you time for supper (like I mentioned previously, cafeteria style food is served, or you also have the option of purchasing some pre-made sandwiches for more budget conscious people). The bus itself is very comfortable and has USB charging ports (typical USB-A ports, not the newer USB-C type) if you wish to bring your cords for charging, which is highly recommended given the lengthy journey to help pass the time on your phone, and to keep your phone full for the high number of amazing pictures you’ll be taking! Important to note there is WiFi on the bus which is an absolutely amazing feature to have!
Lastly, your arrival at the city itself will generally coincide with lunch time. Depending on the option chosen, you will either have lunch included or not with the tour. The only difference here is the price. At the time of writing this review, the lunch was 15 euros at the restaurant the bus dropped off the group if bought separately (I did not see any other alternative close, so you either pack a lunch if you wish to save money, or head to this other cafeteria style restaurant). There were about 7-8 different types of food in the cafeteria and most were traditional Greek meals which were delicious. If you can score your Viator ticket with the meal per person at less than 15 euros difference, I would say you’re saving some money!
So that’s pretty much all of the details I can recall and believe you will need. Hopefully it can help others understanding how the day unfold and the details, and convince you to go see what I truly believe was an enchanting scenery!

Good day, some items different than expected
Our guide, Aris, was very knowledgeable and passionate about history and specifically about everything pertinent to Paul. Very pleased with the tour and would highly recommend.
Do note, when booking it stated this would be two to four people per tour. We had six. No problem, just different than stated. Also, when booking it allows you to select a time for pickup. This will likely get changed and moved up to an earlier time (we selected 10am and got picked up at 8:30am). Also, expected to be ~ 6 hours, we ended up at about 9 hours, including drive time. None of these items were a problem for us but if interested in this tour you may want to make note of these items. All communication was very good.

Excellent tour
This trip was amazing! Our guide was terrific and so knowledgeable. She provided great details on our ride to the museum. Our guide in the museum was also excellent! We had a beautiful and delicious lunch in the town after our tour and dropped back off at our hotel. Our driver did a great job navigating the easter traffic when returning to Athens in the evening.

The Delphi ruins are...
The Delphi ruins are absolutely fascinating. We had excellent weather and the views were incredible. The mountain town where we stopped for lunch had lots of cool shops and taverns to choose from. Our guide gave us a suggestion for lunch and the meal was delicious and affordable.

Great your of the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora
This was an excellent tour. Our guide was Ermes who had a very good knowledge of Ancient Greek history- the information was about right- neither too less, nor too much. Ermes was friendly and courteous , plus very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommended this tour to anyone who visits tge Acropolis and the ancient Agora

Fantastic bike tour in Athens!
We had an absolutely fantastic bike tour in Athens with Sterios — truly one of the highlights of our trip.
From the very beginning, Sterios was friendly, respectful, and genuinely funny, and we clicked with him instantly. He has an impressive depth of knowledge about Athens and its sights, but what really stood out was how naturally he shared it — engaging, relaxed, and never overwhelming. As our first tour guide in Athens, he honestly set the bar very high.
It had rained the night before, and Sterios thoughtfully adjusted the route to avoid muddy or slippery paths, which we really appreciated. That kind of situational awareness and care made us feel completely comfortable and well looked after throughout the tour.
He also took the time to recommend excellent bars and restaurants around the city. We didn’t manage to try all of them during our stay, but the ones we did visit were spot on — fantastic recommendations that we’re still talking about.
This was our first “touristy” bike ride, and we loved it far more than we expected. The time flew by without us even noticing, and we still think back on how much fun we had. Sterios truly elevated the entire experience and made it memorable in the best possible way.
Highly, highly recommended.

Stairways to heaven in Meteora.
The bus from Athens was easy to find among the other buses as George, our driver had a list in large type with everyone’s names. The bus was comfortable with WiFi and charging ports. The ride was long but we stopped half through for a snack and a break. We met our guide Maria in town. The lunch buffet was great. We had plenty of time at each Monastery, we toured 3, although the first one was large and filled with students so we could have spent a little more time looking around. Maria gave us lots of interesting and historical information about the area and each Monastery. She answered many questions and was friendly and personable. Be ready for gorgeous views, interesting history and a lot of steps and walking. It was an unforgettable day and a wonderful way to see a unique part of Greece. Well worth the price which was less than a two hour tour of the Acropolis. The trip lasted 14 hours from pick up to drop off but there were opportunities for snacks and bathroom breaks through out the day. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is able to do a lot of walking (although you could stay at the base of any of the sites and the views are still amazing) and is not afraid of heights.

Exceeded my expectations
I ate breakfast before the 9:30 tour- big mistake!! I couldn’t enjoy all the food they gave us, which included large sesame pretzel type thing, charcuterie with three kinds of homemade sliced meat, feta cheese and a delicious cheddar type cheese, wine and raki, fresh grapes (the best ever- so sweet and fresh they popped when you bit them, a beef sandwich called a slovakia or something like that, and lastly a fried dough covered with honey and cinnamon. We had to walk to each place, so went through many different neighborhoods. Besides these two places, we went to a honey and olive oil tasting and a tasting for Greek liqueurs. In the honey and olive oil place, I bought some honey/based creams. Our guide Micki (Nicki?) spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable and nice. Our group of 8 got along very well. Lots of exercise and good food! It exceeded my expectations

Three tours in one!
This experience is like three tours in one! We had a fantastic day with a very knowledgable guide. The first part was a walking tour through the city, then we met up with more people before heading up to the hill to the ruins and ended our day with a tour of the Acropolis museum (which was only the two of us with our guide). I highly recommend going to the museum to get a better understanding of what you see at the ruins site. Tina walked us through the museum and did an excellent job of making the connections between what we had just seen throughout the ruins and the museum exhibits. We greatly appreciated that we were not rushed and that our guide spent extra time with us to make sure we saw everything. Tina's pride in her country, as well as, her love of history and mythology was evident throughout the entire day.
