Christopher - the tour guide was fun, very patient and very knowledgeable.. the driver , I believe his name was John, was also very sweet. The buses were extremely comfortable. The sites were amazing.

Fantastic

It’s a long trip but well worth it. Amazing going to Mycenae knowing it was built in 5 BC. Theatre was amazing and the sound was crystal clear. Wish we had more time but this was an to the area and would consider going back but to stay a few nights to take in the experience. The Corinth Canal was so cool to sea two seas on opposite ends. The only thing that I would suggest is make sure you check up on the pick up points and understand there are a number of buses picking up passengers for various tours.

Great trip

Randip_S, Jun 2026
It was informative and interesting. I think the guide was Mikhaila and she managed the trip well. The organization was very nice and helpful since I missed the bus, they together with viator support arranged for me to get on another bus to reconnect with the trip so thank you.

Drop most sites and just go to Napflio

Elena_Z, May 2026
I mainly took this trip to see Napflio because there is no easy way to get there on your own. This trip takes you to many different archeological sites in addition to Napflio.I wasn't impressed with these sites, there is not much to see other then stone remains. I wish we spent more time in Napflio but I think it all comes to money because Napflio is free to explore but two sites cost 20 euro each per person which i believe is expensive considering there is nothing much to see. It is long day with some walking under sun on uneven rocks so make sure you are able to do that. Some information provided on the bus about places but not much. Smartphones wirh the App about places provided and that helps somewhat. Overall I was satisfied because I was able to visit Napfio but if you can get there on your own, that would be the best option.

Good time, was looking for more info

Dave_W, Apr 2026
Great locations and a fair amount of time at each. There was no information shared at each stop I guess that is what the VR was supposed to do. Our family gave up on the after the first stop due to them not working properly and not good use.

Good experience, the VR adds a cool element of visualization and allows you to explore at your own pace instead of everyone following the guide in a big group which I liked

I booked this tour as I saw it finishes in Nafplio, and I wanted to spend some more time in the city. During the booking I informed the tour operator that I'd like to stay in Nafplio and not to go back to Athens. On the day of the trip it turned out that not Nafplio was the last spot, which made me a bit disappointed. I was refunded with the ticket price to Epidaurus, but this is not what I planned. The tour guide was nice though and very helpful. What I nor liked that the tour was kind of rushy I guess due to the traffic jam in Athens, and we couldn't spend the advertised time in the locations. I'd not say not to book with this tour operator, but if you want to finish in Nafplio, then not this trip is the one you're looking for.

Recommend for Independent people

Katarzyna_H, Jan 2026
The experiance was wonderful. Especially because of helplfull, nice and smile tour leader - Dido. I wish everyone had a tour leader like she was. I will have only good memories. Also big thank you to our driver - Dimitri. Riding with him was a nice experiance too. You could tell he was an experienced driver. The only thing I think could be changed is to shorten the time spent visiting Mycenae (at least by half an hour) and add that time to Nafplio. This city has so much to offer. Despite this, I highly recommend it!

Taking a tour to Mycene and Epidaurus

Sam_P, Jan 2026
We were anticipating a long day tour with Mycene as the main attraction. However it started a bit awkward with bad coordination between Viator and the local Athenian company. They gave the customers different information. As a result we had a long waiting time before all passengers had been gathered from Omonia square. It also turned out that they expected us to use Whatsapp but we had no information about that requirement. When the tour started for real things turned to the better. Dido, a young PhD student with a cheerful way about her gave us stories about history from both modern and ancient times. The Corinth Canal was very impressive to look at live. Such a mind boggling engineering accomplishment. At Mycene we were given listening devices with earplugs and we walked around on the sight by our self listening to the prerecorded narrators. The sight was very impressive and Im sure that for all visitors that had read the Illiad and the Odyssey this was an almost magical visit. Could this actually be Agamemnons palace, perhaps even grave? Did Helen of Troy visit this megaron before her escape with Paris to Troy? Of course there is a difference between fiction and factual but in places like this it is very rewarding to combine them and enrich the experience. Beside the famous Lion's gate, which was brutally massive, perhaps the water cisterns on the "back" of the fortress was most impressive. Nafplion was worth visiting, but perhaps mostly a tourist trap with Russian mega yachts in the harbour. The theater of Epidaurus was huge and with unbelievable acoustics. A woman in a different tour group tried the famous trick in which the audience was supposed to be able to hear the sound of a coin that fell to the stage floor all the way up to the top row. We were sitting about 20-30 meters up and could clearly hear that she didn´t use a coin, it was definitely a bottle cap. The almost scary thing was that we also heard when it bounced a few times. Besides the famous theater the entire area was dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine. The whole area was huge and probably provided the basis for the old but important phrase "mens sana in corpore sano." There was even a stadium for sports on the grounds. We highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in history and the small issues at the start could easily be solved with a little more coordination.

Good

Was very beautiful and interesting trip the instructor was very nice and helpful. I recommend tgus trip if you are visiting Athens

Not 2 hours as advertised!! This is false advertisement!

Dora_K, Nov 2025
I booked this tour specifically because it was written that we have 2 hours at each location. This is not true! We have arrived to Mycenae at 10.20 and they wantd us back at 11.25 then 10 minutes at an anothe close by place. Nafplio: 1 hour 15 minutes. Same with Epidaurus. We fished at 17.30. I hate to run, i like to enjoy the view, to read the information tables. I had no time for that at all. Took a picture and run to the next one. If you plan just to tick off the place on your bucket list,ok, but this time is not enough to actually enjoy the surroundings. The bus had no wifi, the phone couldnt be charged. When i asked the guide about the 2 hours, he told me that they know it is wrongly advertised it is based on the old schedule. We would get back to athens by 23.00 if we would keep the 2 hours slot. Other lisings had 1h 30 mins listed, we didnt even get that much time. If I knew I would have chosen them.

Arena was fantastic and lovely shady walk to archaeological site. Nafpolio is a beautiful seaside town.

ALYA_Y, Oct 2025
Griselda was amazing throughout the trip. Kudos to her and her patience. The tour was done at 4.30pm before move back to Athens. If one is looking a very insightful knowledge, this tour is not for you. Stops at each place was too short. You will need at least 2 hours to visit Epidaurus cause the place is reaaaalllyy huge. Truly, 1 day at Peloponnese region wont be enough. Also, the itinerary was misleading. The tour go to Nafplio first, and Theater of Epidaurus as final stop.

Great sites to visit, but long bus rides. Mycenae was amazing. The Corinth Canal was neat and Nafplio is a nice seaside town for a lunch break.

Not worth it!

Abhik_D, Oct 2025
When I wrote this, I am just finishing up this trip today. So it’s all fresh memory. Hope this really helps someone, anyone, avoid a bad day in their lives. Let me give the pointers - 1. The bus operates at overcrowding - it was fully packed and felt like a transport bus more than a tourist one. It’s a 61+2 seater - all full. 2. The crowds it attracts, or attracted today for me, was a pretty aggressive one. Almost everyone felt like being at the edge. The tour admin lady, is pretty much useless, has no concern for the passengers, didn’t get in to resolve any of the disputes that arose. She was a happy bystander. 3. They didn’t plan seats inside for families, I guess no one does but then others have spares so that isn’t really a problem. Well we, ourselves a family of 3, had to sit in 3 corners of the bus. 1 more member and he would have had to sit near the driver and we could have covered the whole bus and acted as direction markers. We did manage to sit together 1 time. But this time the driver did come up to tell us to not have 3 people on 2 seats. Earlier when I was asking for help on seats they had nothing to offer. Btw, my 3rd person is a 6 yr old who loves sitting on daddy’s lap. 4. Don’t go by their promise of 2 hours per stop. It is only 1 hr and or 1.5hrs. The stop at nafplio is laughable since it would be lunch time by then. So it’s really a lunch stop. You stop, have lunch( and a smoke if you do) and start walking back. The sites themselves are very nice but typically you would be under harsh sun when you do Mycenae and you would want some shade but would get one. The Epidarius is towards the evening and much cooler. I would have switched between the 2 since Epidaurus has a whole lot more of tree shade. Anyways I am just a tourist from India who travelled 10 hrs to be in Greece. I have had a great experience so far on all my other days. The Delphi tour was amazing- smaller crowd, engaged host, a wonderful comfortable vehicle for transport- its run by Ammon. Our tour at the Pantheon was epic, the guide is my newest insta friend. We also did an all day cruise aboard the Calypso which was epic. Only today was a wasted day and would be well forgotten. I understand that a more premium offering would be preferable for those reasons. Lesson learnt!

Organised way to see sites!

Julie_P, Oct 2025
Easy meeting point & a good mode of transport to visit all of the sites. Information onboard the bus prior to visiting the sites was informative - thank you.

Horrible

kshitij712, Oct 2025
The big bus was completely packed. It felt claustrophobic .AC was not effective. The seats had a damp smell. The time given at Nafplion around 75 minutes was too less. More than half the time was spent in bus

Highly recommend

Yvette_L, Sep 2025
I couldn’t decide on which tour to do and my heart settled on the MYCENAE, EPIDAURUS, NAFPLIO DAY TOUR. I have zero regrets and am still in awe of all I saw and experienced. Vasilis was great. Good with communication and when there were issues with finding the bus, he called me and came to get me. It was a whole day but didn’t feel like you’re stuck on the bus the whole time and without random stops and forced to pay for bad lunches. Doesn’t include entry tickets, this is additional 40€. They provide a headset which I found easiest to listen to on the bus beforehand and then get out and explore. Wish we had longer in Nafplio but still amazing. Easy with pickup and drop off. Highly recommend packing water and lunch if you can.

45 minutes away from a 5 star experience.

Mike_L, Sep 2025
We are fast travelers, and we understand the need for efficiency and a fast pace on this trip to fit everything in.. However even for us things were extremely rushed even by running through everything. Especially considering we got back to Athens almost 1.5 hours earlier than planned. 90 minutes would have been perfect for Mycanea, but we had only 70. Nafplio could have used 30 more minutes to make it two hours for a decent experience. Our guide on the bus was great and the itinerary was not his fault, but I implore the company to utilize the time better and add 40-50 minutes total to these two stops to make the experience great.

Very nice and informative excursion. Traveling outside of Athens and sight-seeing the landscape was also nice. Mutton restaurant at the third stop had awesome seafood . Highly recommend this tour.

You should try this tour.

Great!

Olga_D, Aug 2025
The meeting point on the Omonia square is not marked correctly on the map. So we had a few stressfull moments, even though we came good in advance. Also we had a bit less time at every spot then mentioned in program. Otherwise the tour is absolutley worth the money. Our guide, Griselda was very caring and attentive. And along the route she supplied us with interesting, valuable and timely information. At the same time, she did not tire us unnecessarily. In addition, at the end of the tour we were given an amazing opportunity to take a free sightseeing tour of Athens in the evening. It was great! Thank you very much!

Katrina_P, Jul 2025
If it is 104 degrees, like it was for us, it is very uncomfortable. Also the VR device did not work very well and the videos were not very detailed. But the sites themselves are magnificent and have a lot of information on hand.

Lovey tour

Rose_P, Jul 2025
Lovely tour! Beautiful sites to see. Would highly recommend. Guide was very knowledgeable of history of the area we visited.

Ok tour

Tammie_D, Jul 2025
Timing at each location was adequate. Unfortunately it was during the heat wave, so a bit difficult to endure the outdoors in the afternoon. Company did not send guide prepaid tickets and he had to jump hoops to fix it. He stayed calm and avoided a major problem. This was on Viator, not the poor guide. Travelled with seniors who had difficulty with the smart phone so would not do such a tour again. This is on us, not the company or guide.

Nice tour

Sarah_H, Jun 2025
The tour guide was excellent and we has a friendly coach driver. It would have been nice if there was a bit more time in Nafplio, an hour and a half isn't long enough to get lunch and explore properly. The duration at the other stops were all good.

Thanos our guide was super professional, very friendly and very well organized. Tour is nice, offers 3 locations in 1 day. The audio guide allowed us to have good visualization of how the sites used to be since now there are only few ruins. It would have been nice having more time in Napflion, it is beautiful to walk around and has lots of shops and good food.

This excursion covered a lot of territory and worthwhile sites not far from Athens. Mycenae and The Tomb are a must. Nafplio is a quaint little town on the water with restaurants, shops and cafes. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and patience and our driver took very good care of us. It was a great day.

A day well spent
