Great half-day tour which included changing of the guard at the presidential palace, ancient stadium which became the Olympic stadium, statues, Acropolis Museum, Acropt, and more. Guide (Nick) did not go into the museum or up to the Acropolis with us but gave us a thorough orientation before we went. We kept up with him via What’s App, and he met us promptly when we finished at each attraction. As an extra, he picked us up at the Piraeus port at our ship (Viking Vesta) and did not charge us extra for this! Nick is very knowledgeable, and was extremely polite and friendly to spend the day with.

The tour was really nice. The tour guide was very informative. The only issue is I would have liked the tour guide would have joined us on the tour. He told us a little bit about place and then dropped us off and we toured alone. For the price we paid, it should of been included.

Not bad. On time and took us around, but be aware. This is a private drive around, not necessarily a tour. The driver explained us a few things, but we are left to explore on our own. Not bad for the price, but to be noted it's not a tour.

The original pick-up time was 9am. However, a few days before, the tour agency advised us to start at 7:45am so the acropolis would not be so crowded. We didn't get to the acropolis until 11 am. Driver had no water for us. A nice man, but basically just a driver. We found that the taxi drivers were just as knowledgeable.

For example, he told me how to take the golf cart and the elevator to get to the Acropolis as I had difficulty walking. He showed us all of the historical sights. My daughters and I had a really great experience with Andreas as our guide. He was extremely helpful and was very knowledgeable. He took us to the South entrance of the Acropolis because the lines were shorter, then he took us to see many other sites around Athens and even took us for ice cream at the end our tour. The changing of the guard was very interesting to see as well. If you do this tour request Andreas. You will have a great time.

This is basically a driver for the half of the day. We were under the impression tickets were included but they are not. We went to the Acropolis first but the amount of people waiting to get in was so long all we could do was take pictures while we waited for the driver to return. Then we went to the Temple of Zeus and had to buy tickets and it was not worth it. The stadium was neat but again we had to buy tickets and wait in line. Driver did not speak the best English and did not talk about sights along the way. Also we have to show the driver our Viator receipt to explain that we had already paid.

Obviously the acropolis was incredible which goes without saying. At the end he dropped us at the Plaka neighborhood for dinner and shopping. Truly a great tour. We tailored the excursion to meet our time frame since we only get 8 hours on the ground in Athen and we are a group of 8. Beside the usual sights, They recommend the temple of Poseidon. We had a great sunset dinner by the beach in the area and was one of the best meal while we are in Greece among Mykonos and Santorini. What a surprise.
