We would like to clarify a few important points. The pick-up location you selected during booking is a designated meeting point, chosen specifically to ensure smooth operations and avoid traffic issues in restricted areas such as narrow one-way streets. Your hotel is not one of the available pick-up points for this reason.
On the day of the tour, you were not present at the selected meeting point at the scheduled time. According to our policy, this situation is considered a no-show, and we would have been fully justified in proceeding without you.
However, as a gesture of goodwill, and to avoid you missing the experience entirely, our driver made an exception and collected you from your hotel, despite this not being an authorized stop and causing delays for the rest of the group.
For the return, we followed the standard procedure and dropped you at the agreed meeting point. Your dissatisfaction seems to come from not receiving the same exception again, despite already being accommodated beyond our normal policy.
We always strive to be fair to all guests while keeping the tour running on time. In this case, we went out of our way to assist you, and it is disappointing to see this reflected negatively.

Wide variety of activities and sites. Our guide Johnny was brilliant, he entertained us with a range of local knowledge and fun facts. We stopped at a lot of places where you could go for a swim including a large waterfall so consider wearing swimwear under your clothes. Would thoroughly recommend this trip.

One of the best experiences for the kids and me . Johnny was a very information , vibrant guide with loads of patience and excellent sense of humour . The organisers were brilliant too , inspite of ours being a smaller group they did not cancel the tour . They honoured our decision to go for the safari and Johnny showed immense positive attitude towards his work and guests . We were very impressed and would highly recommend the tour operator and the guide to others .

It was a fun ride up into the mountain to see the ancient fort. Open jeep ride is windy but thrilling the stop in Alte and then stopping at the waterfall we’re also interesting.

From start to end we had a great time.
Our initial plans were cancelled - not enough people registered for tour we booked.
This worked in our favour as we met a well mannered, respectful person named Will - our guide and driver. He was attentive, accommodating and made our day as it was a special birth date.
We enjoyed the places visited and found Will to be very knowledgeable about areas visited. We had good conversations throughout our journey with him.

Wonderful tour , the tour guide was amazing. He was funny and made sure to accommodate everyone. It was so much fun and we got to a less touristy more local experience! It was fabulous. They said they would pick us up from our hotel but then said our hotel wasn’t in the right area so just double check these details.

we selected this trip as weather was bad on the day.we went with our 2 teenagers.they loved the organic farm and animals especially.the tour guide Will was so nice and accomadating.
Us adults enjoyed the village stop off and not been rushed. Highly recommend this trip. So easy going and relaxing

The guide/driver was very friendly and communicative, pointing out various things of interest (which to be fair, on route, was difficult!) but the stops were good, ample time (just right!) to "sample" what was on offer..coffee and cake in pleasant cafe with great views: drink and honey at the farm, waterfall was a bit steep to get to it (175 steps)....worth it ??
All in all a good "distraction" from the norm and value for money

Very interesting tour. The guide was very good and provided us with lots of information. Outstanding as a guide, with sense of humour and kindness.
Very good restaurant for the lunch break.
The stop overs were all interesting however, the sequence of the stops is to be revised. We stopped in Alte town three times, in the morning for a coffee break and visit of the town, then moved to another site. Later back to Alte for lunch, then moved to another site. Again, back to Alte to visit the fountains. Therefore extra unnecessary km. Was this to fill in the full day excursion? I must say that the driver followed the programme given by the tour operator.
The yellow jeep needs to be repaired, the right door does not open, and some other pieces are falling apart.

We had a wonderful trip up the mountain stopping at a farm that had a stall where you could taste honey and other preserves and have a walk through the lavender and other gorgeous plants. We stopped for a break on the mountain to have a go on a massive swing and climb a tower followed by a short trip to a lovely village where you could have a snack and use the toilet. Lunch was further up the mountain and it was delicious with a choice of sangria (the best I've tasted), water or juice. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip with a cheerful and well informed guide who had an obvious love of Portugal and its traditions. Our trip was on Monday the 4th of September and I am sorry to say I have forgotten our drivers name as this is written a few weeks later. I highly recommend this particular jeep safari, such a pleasant trip and also cheaper than some of the others and it covers pretty much the same things. Well worth the time and money.

Guided visit = drive pass in the car
Picked up from our hotel promptly and our driver was hilarious! Within minutes he had us at ease and enjoying his lively banter. The kids thought he was great. He stopped regularly to show us herbs and smell leaves, he was very knowledgeable and we were glad he was driving and not us, the roads were quite off road! Castle was good, we didn’t stop at Sao Bartolomeu de Messines at the cafe, we thought guided visit to the animal farm meant we would get out to see animals but it was a drive pass, we didn’t stop by the fountains (even though we wouldn’t have swam anyway, it would have been nice for a photo), then on the way back the driver looked at his phone and seemed surprised. He proceeded to drive REALLY slowly home. We arrived 15 minutes early. Felt a bit cheated then. So mixed review!
