A very good day out helpfull and funny and very informative driver marco made it. Fantastic lunch at such a lovely restaurant as well as the cake n drink and toilet stop. A very good stop at the fiery drink stop with honeys drinks and sauces to buy. Very well worth the money as an experience from albufeira. Thanks everyone for today xxx

Fred, Fred, Fred!!!! He definitely made our experience exceptional. Fred was so knowledgeable of the area and you can tell he absolutely loves the land and nature. He respects the land and it was really passionate about his work. The adventure was amazing and the 7 hours flew by. The lunch was excellent. pick up and drop off were on time and perfect. I really recommend this adventure.

Well, we started out a little concerned, and it was a rollercoaster ride from there out, but in the end we were happy with the experience. 😁
We had read reviews about the vehicles with the view blocked by the top and were concerned when our vehicle pulled up and it was one of them. It was a tight fit putting nine people in the old 4x4 but we made new friends fast with the other couple in the back section. Once we got off the main road we were able to stand up and look over the roof, so the view got better, but hanging on though the bumpy roads became a real workout! The driver was fun about it referring to the "massage" 😂. We got used to it and it did become somewhat enjoyable. The safari was a nice view of the hills and rural villages, and their people were friendly and charming. The waterfall, rivers, mountain views, and small village sites were all nothing that would make headlines, but were charming and refreshing insight into the less touristic real people and villages of Algarve.
Our driver, I didn't catch his name unfortunately, was very professional, informative, helpful, and made the whole adventure much more fun. He knew a lot about the areas and even led another vehicle's customers through some of the sites providing history and insights about the area. The lunch included tasty sangria and plenty of delicious food and a light dessert. The view from the restaurant patio was over the valley and the weather was perfect for the day tour. The liquor tour was informative and the drinks were tasty. The honeys and jams available also were yummy and we bought some to take home to share.
All in all it was well worth the cost and effort and we are happy we took the tour.
Be aware: it is a VERY bumpy ride, accessing the rear seats of the vehicle requires some dexterity and ducking, if you don't like heights or steep drops at the roads edge you may be a little anxious on a few points of the journey, however the landscape was impressive, the people were lovely, and our guide/driver was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. We are so glad to have been lucky enough to have him!

Fred was our guide, he was amazing - funny, proud of his country and full of knowledge about the area and Portugal. The history and explanation about cork and all of the land and crops was incredible! All the stops were fantastic, the view from the mountain top (Pico Alto) was nothing short of phenomenal, you can see everything!
The Firewater tasting was awesome 😉
As well as the honey and jams!
Bring water shoes for the waterfall as the rocks are slippery, also it is very refreshing (chilly) and is a beautiful spot.

We started at 9am and spent the day exploring the local area. The tour guide, Tomas was so knowledgeable about the local floral, fauna and history and was so amusing, the day just slipped by. Can highly recommend and will definitely do again.

Fantastic trip from start to finish.This is a must do trip if you want to experience the real Portugal.Tiego was the best guide,very informative and knowledgeable.He also had a good sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble.The stop at the farm shop we tried some of their local drinks,honeys and jams.The lunch we had was a 3 course meal in a beautiful village,amazing views.Stops for coffee and local homemade cakes.We saw the amazing waterfall where you have the chance to take a dip.If you want to do a trip i would recommend this one.
The company in the jeep was lovely and we had a few laughs with them.

We travelled as two family's with 4 x adults, 2 x 16yrs, 2 x 12 yrs, 1 x 5yrs and 18month old, there was a car seat provided and the guides were excellent. Hugo was our guide. There was education and fun for everyone

Had a great time learning all about the local area as well as exploring the more inland countryside. Our guide was very knowledgeable and everyone on board seemed to be having a great time. Would like to come back to explore again, perhaps in a different season. The pastel de nata is a must try whilst here! Lunch was plentiful and also plenty to drink- sangria, water or orange.
If the countryside and experiencing the local traditions is your thing, I would definitely recommend this tour.

We ended up getting a private tour - what a treat! Thomas was very knowledgeable about all the plants of the area and showed us lots of hidden gems. Learned lots about the history of the area, Cork, animals, etc.

Lots of little stops to talk about flora and fauna, great country side, little bit of rough terrain which is fun, so much knowledge from our guide Thomas, he made it fun, great view stop offs. Great tasting at the distillery and lunch was eaten (chicken chips and salad, soup starter and fruit salad for dessert. ) lovely to see all the wonderful landscape with the vast agricultural produce. Really enjoyed Thomas's very knowledgeable chit chat, and the level of humour . Only downside really was the diesel fumes from the jeep when the curtains were down, which it was for most of our day because we did get a fair amount of rain, after a full day it gets a bit much.

We booked a full-day jeep safari trip. Transfer from the hotel is included. We waited for 1 hour in the morning, there is no car. We called support, they told us that the car broke down (they didn't tell us anything until we called them). The trip was postponed to the next day, at 8:45. In the morning we waited again, after 20 minutes they started calling. We were told that the car has left, wait. At 9:30 we called the support again, they said again that the car was on the way, ok... At 10:15 we called again!!!!! We were offered to change to another excursion... seriously? 2 days of already spoiled vacation. And also take a risk on the third day? A very frivolous company

A trip to remote places that we would not have been able to visit without a jeep and a guide. The guide was exceptional and trilingual (Portuguese, English and French). He taught us a great deal about the flora, local history and customs. It will remain an unforgettable day marked by stops at picturesque locations.

This was such a fabulous day discovering a large area of the Algarve. Our guide, Thomas, could not have been more fun AND knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting details and facts about the entire area throughout our day. He kept us on track for time without making us feel we had to watch the clock and just let us be relaxed and happy. The route and stops are very well paced and give you a chance to sit and enjoy beverages, and your lunch, in picturesque locations. We learned so much and had time to take in the beauty of the Algarve. I could not recommend this excursion more. Thanks to the tour provider for a wonderfully planned day and thanks to Thomas for a fun-filled, informed day out in this magical country.

The full day jeep tour was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide George was fantastic, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. This was a great way to see the parts of Algarve that your normally wouldn’t venture to. We learned about the history of the region, tasted amazing food, and got to see the beautiful hidden parts of Algarve. This is a must do on any trip to Algarve!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this tour but it had everything! Im not going to spoil the fun but to say its one for the best things I've ever done! A real must if your staying in the Algarve. Kids enjoyed it too which is a massive thumbs up!!

Our driver/guide was very good. He knew how to get around in all the interesting, out of the way and tight spaces. He had good knowledge of the many local farmed produce such as oranges, etc., pointing out as we were driving and often stopped by the side of the road to pick various herbs for us to touch and smell. All in all we would recommend this tour.

It was a fabulous experience. Our driver Thomas was excellent and he was quite experienced and knowledgeable. Really good driver took us in areas never expected to explore and kept us entertained with throughout our day. Had a nice coffee break along the way. Stopped at various areas to smell various herb and visit to Castle/Distillery was on point Gave a detailed history along the trip from where Portugal was to now
and its development. Had other nationalities on board and made us felt as one group.
Food was delightful and company facilitated pick up and drop off at hotel at an additional cost but was well worth the journey.. No regrets will definitely recommend.

Sitting in the back area can be challenging.
We saw great valleys and old fortification and had a very good lunch.
