This was a great tour. Our two guides Oogo, not sure of spelling and Inez are the cutest couple. The tour was so much more than we expected. Besides cave of Benigal, we saw so many other caves. They were both so knowledgeable and friendly. The ride to and from the caves was so much fun. Definitely book this tour and get them if possible. We loved it! Not to be missed.

It’s an excellent way to see the caves and if you are lucky like we were you will even see dolphins! Are skipper was amazing, he handled the boat with ease!

Fun trip to the Algarve caves. Boat ride was fast and fun. We went at 11 am and there were many other boats and kayaks, so it was a bit crowded and we had to wait “in line” with the boat a few times. Guides were friendly.

Amazing trip! The caves were spectacular and the boat ride to and from was exhilarating. The wind was pretty strong and the waters a bit choppy but we always felt safe. Definitely recommend and would do it again.

I booked this trip for my daughter, her boyfriend and me while they were visiting me here in Portugal, and we all absolutely loved it.
Everything was so well organised from start to finish. From the moment our names were called and we were shown to the boat, everything ran smoothly and we felt completely looked after throughout the whole experience.
Inês and Hugo were our crew and really helped to make the trip special. They were both so friendly, welcoming and attentive, while also making it very clear that we were in experienced and capable hands. They shared information along the way and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves.
It was quite windy on the day we went, so Hugo explained that he wasn’t able to do some of the side turns and manoeuvres that he would normally include. It honestly didn’t take anything away from the experience though. The boat ride itself was great fun and the coastline and caves were absolutely stunning. Seeing them from the water is something completely different and definitely something I’ll remember.
I live in Portugal and had wanted to take my daughter and her boyfriend somewhere special while they were visiting, and this was such a good choice. We all came away saying how much we had enjoyed it.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lagos. It really is one of those experiences that’s worth doing and one to remember.

Nice boat trip out to the Benagil Cave as well as some other caves. The boat driver had some fun driving and made it feel like a little roller coaster as we were starting out and finishing the tour. Tour suitable for all levels of mobility.

We walked down to the Lagos Marina to try to find our tour group for the boat trip to the Benagil caves. We had a 9am tour time start, and we got there about 8:45am. There were many tourists standing around trying to figure out if they were in the right spot for their tour group, as there are about 7-8 different companies with tours. My recommendation is making sure you are in the right spot and look for the poles that have the company names on them.
At 8:55am 2 Lagos Grotto Trip guys came up and got our groups and split us in 2 different boat groups. We had Luis as our tour guide, and he was very informative and personable. It took us about 35 min to get out to Benagil cave, and being early in the AM, there were not many boats there trying to get in, and the ocean was relatively calm. Our boat went inside the cave, and we were able to take many photos. After Benagil, we visited many more caves and scenic spots. A few caves we went far into which was cool. Overall, it was a fun experience, and the boat went fast which our group enjoyed.

This was a super fun trip! The caves were busy with kayakers and other boats but our guides were great. Definitely worth the trip!! The boat is bouncy and fun!

Seats are tight together, best to be up front if possible. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure glasses and hats are secure. The driver was fast and did his best to keep the boat steady in choppy conditions

If there is one experience you shouldn’t miss in Lagos, it’s the boat ride to these caves. Stunning is the only word for it. The majestic shoreline of cliffs and caves you can experience, is like nothing else we have seen. There are a string of caves where the boat operators will take you into. If you are lucky (like we were), you will be able to see a lot of dolphins while going to these caves.

The tour was on a rib boat. Super fun ride over to the caves. It’s 35 min each way so keep that in mind. Leaves time to see several caves and areas near the main cave but it is a quick tour

We took the 9am tour with Hugo and Ines. This was perfect before it got extremely hot and the crowds were up. We were able to go to Begali cave and we were the only boat there with maybe 5 kayakers. Hugo and Ines were very informative on all the rock formations and gave us great tips on the best beaches and some great spots both in both Lagos and the rest of the Algarve!! 10/10 would recommend this!

I’m hoping our experience wasn’t typical because we left a half hour late and came back 15 minutes early. It was slow to start and fast on the open ocean to make up time. Just seemed rushed but the scenery was marvelous.
