What a fun experience. There are stops here that we were not aware of but it made it even better. You ride in the back of a jeep that fits 6 people so be aware that it is a little cramp but cozy. The ride includes unpaved roads and gets bumpy. The first stop is at a castle but be aware that it is only open on Wednesdays. The second stop is at an organic farm where you can try honey and jams and a shot of fire water. From there we went to the springs where we took a dip in the cold but refreshing water. There is a washroom and small cafe there. Our jeep ended up getting a flat tire which extended our stop here for about 45 minutes. Honestly, this was a great place to get stuck lol. The last stop is at a small, deep lake that is fed by a waterfall. Another great spot for a dip but be aware it is 172 steps down. Overall we greatly enjoyed this tour but be aware this is not for people with mobility issues or who get car sick. Our driver was great and explained many things along the way. Fun tour!

It was a great day. Remember to take your swimsuit, and if you plan to swim at the waterfall, shoes/sandles you can wear in the water - it’s a bit rocky getting in and out. Also remember cash for the villages cafes

From start to finish, this was without a doubt the best day of our entire two-week holiday! A huge thank you to Cody, who was the most amazing tour guide. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he was fantastic with both us and the kids. He made everyone feel comfortable from the moment we met him. His knowledge was incredible, and he explained everything in great detail, making the whole experience so much more interesting and enjoyable. What really stood out was how involved Cody was throughout the day. It genuinely felt like he was on the tour with us rather than simply guiding it. He was friendly, engaging, and relaxed, which made the whole experience so much fun. When you're spending that much time with someone, it makes all the difference, and Cody got it absolutely right. The waterfall and spring were absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of the trip. We learned so much and never felt rushed at any point. We also loved visiting the farm, where we could see the animals and browse the wonderful organic products. It was such a lovely stop and gave us a real taste of local life. To finish the day, we visited a beautiful little village where we enjoyed what were probably the best Portuguese tarts we've had. Everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. This safari exceeded all expectations and created memories that our family will treasure forever. If you're considering booking this tour, don't hesitate—you won't regret it. Thank you, Cody, for making our day so unforgettable! Such amazing value for money

Wow! A magical experience, maybe a once in a lifetime experience, cross off your bucket list! A big shout out to Cody, the tour guide. He rocked up (on time) 4x4 jeep! We went to the albufeira mountains & stopped at famous landmarks, saw clay quarry & factory,where all beautiful ornate colourful crockery was manufactured, Cody stopped next at a village ,we had loo break & went to this gorgeous church. Stunning & peaceful. Cody gave us free time 30 mins to go to cafe & shop.mix with genuine old Portuguese town folk. Then we went past a castle & saw the oldest Olive tree, go on the trip to find out more about these excursions! Went to a farm, saw animals there,tried fresh honey from their bees, they sell lots of fresh herbs, all ready to buy for cooking, healthy teas & medicinal benefits. Different Jams too! Wow & firewater, famous shot 2 types, so strong but lovely after taste, go yourself to see % lol. (Don't want to spoil it for you). We were there maybe 45 mins. We then went futher up the mountain to another little village, it was set up that you could swim in a natural spring, there were toilets to use & get changed, there was ice- cream van for ice-creams,crepes ^ alcoholic/ non alcoholic cocktails/mocktails fabulous! 20/30 mins there. The family who were on the experience with us ,they gad forgotten their swimming kit,so Cody dropped us up then took family to buy swimming gear to share the experience. (Totally went above & beyond, nothing was too much trouble!) Then it was drive up the mountain to the source of the spring , the natural spring wild swimming pool. On arrival you walk over look down to the waterfall, not for buggies,prams,wheelchairs or walking aids,(Walking sticks yes ,as I walk with one) omg, you look down to this magical natural water souce, like somewhere that's only stumbled across in films...., you have to walk down to it lots of steps but you can do so many then rest.slow & steady. Well worth it, felt spiritual, healing, adrenaline, incredible opportunity at 30/35 euros & each time you use them you fet discount on your account! Portugal is famous for the world's oilve oil & oranges. We saw thousands & thousands of orange/ olive trees ,infact Cody stopped & got up some fresh oranges to try ,omg sweet & juicy straight from the tree,cannot get fresher than that! (wet wipes needed).

Would Recommend! Nature/History Tour

Flew my mum out to Portugal for her birthday & booked a private jeep safari tour with Cody which she wanted & it didn’t disappoint. We had a great time and got to see a lot more places than usual during this time of year (Nov) which was amazing. We certainly wouldn’t have done so on our own! Although my mum got tired and hungry towards the end of the tour lol (I would recommend taking a Jacket as it can get windy/cold in the back seat, a drink and snacks if lunch not included), it was a wonderful experience and definitely a highlight of our holiday. Would recommend Cody as your Safari guide for anyone visiting Algarve, very knowledgeable & down to earth individual. Thanks again Cody! Nadine & Janet
