It was great! Fred our tour guide was wonderful. We saw caves, swam, and learned a ton. I would highly recommend this tour. I’m claustrophobic and I didn’t have any Trouble with the caves. The waves were totally manageable. All family members will enjoy this tour.

Caio was an exceptional guide, being extremely knowledgeable on rock formations, caves, the coastline, and algars. He was also incredibly easygoing and friendly. Waking up early was 1000% worth it for us, making this tour a core memory of our time in the Algarve.

Ho my God what an amazing tour! The 2 brothers that operate this business are friendly and amazingly customer focus. Safety for them is not a compromis. Poco our guide took plenty of pictures which he shares with us after the tour. I would not hésite to do this tour with them. My wife who is not an armature of water enjoyed every second of the tour.

This was an amazing experience. We were literally the first group in the cave in the morning. We hiked the trail later in the afternoon and were amazed by the number of boats and kayaks going into the cave. Having it all to ourselves in the morning was well worth the early morning wake up. Our guide, Francisco was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. I would definitely recommend this tour if you would like to see this cave without hundreds of other people and boats around you.

A fantastic family day out. We are not the most sporty family but we loved every minute of this tour. Miguel our guide was super relaxed and fun and made sure he spoke to everyone. Even though the sites were busy Miguel guided us through the traffic and made this experience really special by giving everyone the opportunity to have fun and enjoy the sites. A definite must do in the area.

Padro was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. He was most concerned about safety, information and entertainment. He was a pro and we loved every minute of the tour. While other tour guides seemed to rush their groups through the algarve and caves and took pictures with others in the background, Pedro was a “smooth operator” and took care to take the best pictures. I would do it again, and I highly recommend this group.

Pedro was amazing! Excellent tour! Ok for even inexperienced kayakers. Got to see the caves up close and nice he took photos so we didn’t have to worry about it. Took a taxi from cruise port to meeting point for 30 Euro.

What a perfect 2 hour experience. The waves were rolling about 5 feet, but the guide made sure we were safe the entire time and helped us have an incredible experience.

It would have been good to be informed about wearing swim attire (at least for the bottoms) and aqua socks. Being informed in advance that all shoes/flip-flops would be removed & stored in a dry bag would’ve been helpful to know in advance.
Other than that, the kayaking experience was great. Bruno was attentive to all boats and didn’t make us feel badly about always being the last to catch up. Since we were on an earlier tour, we didn’t have to wait as long to get into each cave so Bruno was able to take us more places. We enjoyed it very much.

We’d just like to clarify one small point regarding footwear for future guests. Water shoes aren’t necessary on our tour. Guests can wear whatever footwear they find comfortable (sneakers, sandals, flip-flops, etc.) to walk down to Carvalho Beach. Once we reach the sand, everyone leaves their shoes safely in our shoe bags before getting into the kayaks. After the tour, we return to the same beach where you’ll have your shoes waiting for you. The tour is designed to be enjoyed barefoot while you’re on the beach and in the kayaks, making it a more natural and comfortable experience.

Our family had a fantastic kayak tour to the Benagil Caves. The guide was outstanding- friendly, knowledgeable, and always focused on everyone’s safety and comfort, especially with the boat traffic on the water. We did the 8:30 tour and early morning was great because there was plenty of parking (the lot was full with beach goers by the time we returned 2 hours later). We were the only ones on the beach when we launched our kayaks. The equipment (Kayak's, paddles, wet bags, life jackets, etc.) is top notch and the water was pretty calm in the morning. Our guide Pancho was so professional and kind (he even picked some floating plastic out of the water - so you can see the sincerity and care for the ocean). The photos were emailed to us via Viator the same day at no extra cost and were surprisingly good (I was skeptical when I saw his waterproof camera). A perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the Algarve's coast with courteous and caring guides.

We had a wonderful experience kayaking in the caves and around the cliffs. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We left from a less crowded beach which made is easier to know who we were touring with. The tour was a small group for a more personal touch. After the tour our guide even gave us a great recommendation for authentic Portuguese cuisine!

The sunrise tour was fantastic - calm waters, barely any crowds, amazing lighting. Miguel was excellent as a guide. I joined solo and shared a kayak with another girl that was in a group of 3. It seemed that having your own kayak may have been an option as well (though didn't ask!). Highly recommend.

What a wonderful way to see the caves. The early start was perfect in the cooler air and we were first in the caves before the mad rush from tour boats. This company takes safety first and we seemed to be the only tour group with helmets for the caves.

Caves w Brotherootz..sup was a great experience. Poor weather, they postponed our group, but it was worth the wait. Bruno was informative and helpful. We had an amazing time. My kids are 12 & 13, and were troopers paddling against the wind. Bruno shared info about the sandstone, formation, and region. Took breaks appropriately so the other boat w adults that was paddling in circles could keep up. The caves were amazing and we have wonderful memories. Bruno took pics of our group and shared them, so we didn’t have to worry about dropping our camera/phones in the drink.

The tour and our guide Poco were excellent. The caves are amazing and this is excellent. The communication on where to meet was a little challenging b/c we ordered a Bolt to the listed location but were dropped off very far away. B/c we were running late for reasons on our end we had sprint down to the beach and back up the stairs to the correct location. It caused a challenging morning to be much more so.

Carvoeiro and Benagil Caves may have been the highlight of our entire vacation. Absolutely beautiful day and wonderful guide (Paco?) who spoke perfect English and led us to five caverns, the last of which was a secluded beach and good half-hour rest stop. Kayaking was easy, water was perfect. Meeting point was easy to find. He also recommended a wonderful restaurant in town. And they will take group photos and email them to you.

We had a fantastic experience exploring the Benagil caves by kayak. The scenery was breathtaking, and the tour was well organised from start to finish. Such a cool and different experience. Kayaking was fun and the scenery was amazing. Getting to kayak into the caves was so cool and learning about the geology and ecosystem was interesting. The paddle back was tough cause the wind changed but still very fun!

This was an incredible experience! The Algarve is so beautiful and it was cool to see it all from the water. Better yet is that you can go in and out of the caves in the kayaks. Everyone (kids 14-22 and mom) had a great time!

I had so much fun and fantastic photos. You do not need to bring your camera or phone because the guides will take pics for you and send them the same day. I was with my 6-year-old kid on the kayak, and he had so much fun. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you, again for the great experience.

If you care very much about instagram photos this tour is for you. For me there was to much posing, smiling, taking photos. I would rather like to concentrate on tour activities and nature around.

It‘s a proper kayaking experience that is very nicely guided - some stories, photos taken, safe. We visited several caves, had to put some effort into it but it was very much fun.
