It was great! Fred our tour guide was wonderful. We saw caves, swam, and learned a ton. I would highly recommend this tour. I’m claustrophobic and I didn’t have any Trouble with the caves. The waves were totally manageable. All family members will enjoy this tour.

Great experience!! Our tour guide, Pancho, was super energetic, fun, and knowledgeable about everything we saw and did!
He even let us stay out a bit later on the water so our group could go through more caves!
Definitely recommend this company and wish I could have been out there even longer with all the fun we had!

Even though our uber took us to the wrong location, they were able to come and get us and bring us to where we needed to be for the experience. Everyone was so nice and made sure we were prepared and knew the history of the island and caves we seen. S/o to pancho! The only thing I wish I knew sooner is that you can’t actually get out in the open cave like in the photos, which is what I really wanted to do so I was sad about that. Our original booking was moved up for safety reasons which I appreciated extremely so knowing our safety was important was great. I even got motion sickness while out on the water and pancho gave me the choice to turn back or keep going. I did end slightly early but the other brothers were there to help us and take us up to the rest of our party. Great company.

One of the most fun things we did on our Portugal trip! Our guide, Simao, was very engaging with all of us as a group and individually. And we have great pictures as memories of this fun tour. Take this tour vs any others out there as you will start at a less crowded beach and the guides are aware of the traffic flow in all the caves.

We booked this tour months in advance, and 48 hours before the tour, it was cancelled. We tried to work with the operator to find a new time that worked the following day. I selected one, and they again cancelled with less than an hour notice because it was 'full'. Their response time during this interaction was 16+ hours for each message. I'm not sure if this is a viator problem or a problem with this company. We DID receive a full refund.

We’d like to clearly explain an important aspect of OCEAN AND NATURE TOURS. These experiences are 100% DEPENDENT ON WEATHER AND OCEAN CONDITIONS. Even when a tour is booked WEEKS OR MONTHS IN ADVANCE, sea conditions can change quickly and unpredictably.
In ocean-based activities, 48 HOURS AHEAD IS GENERALLY A GOOD TIME FRAME to start having a clearer idea of conditions.
However, it’s important to understand that we CANNOT PREDICT CONDITIONS WITH FULL CERTAINTY A WEEK IN ADVANCE. Sometimes forecasts are very clear and conditions are WELL ABOVE SAFETY LIMITS. Other times, conditions are ON THE LIMIT AND UNCERTAIN, and we only gain a clearer and safer picture 2 DAYS BEFORE, 1 DAY BEFORE, OR EVEN ON THE SAME DAY OF THE TOUR.
For this reason, and especially during certain times of the year, the ocean can become ROUGH OR UNSTABLE, and for SAFETY REASONS, we sometimes need to make GO / NO-GO DECISIONS ON THE SAME DAY — OR EVEN THE SAME HOUR — OF THE TOUR.
Please understand that this is NEVER A MATTER OF BAD WILL. We want to operate, work, and profit like any business, but our BIGGEST PRIORITIES ARE SAFETY AND GUEST SATISFACTION.
Going out in unsuitable conditions can quickly turn an experience into a VERY UNPLEASANT SITUATION, with guests feeling unsafe, becoming SEASICK, or even VOMITING — something we will never knowingly allow to happen.

This small group kayak tour was an unforgettable experience! The guides were friendly and made us feel safe from the start. Paddling along the Algarve coast was stunning, and getting to enter the Benagil Cave by kayak was amazing — we could actually land on the beach inside, unlike with boat tours. The group was small, the vibe was relaxed, and the whole trip was super well organized. Highly recommend!

The sunrise tour was spectacular! The views were amazing. Our guide knew how to avoid the other groups. It was a bit difficult getting down the stairs to the beach in the dark but well worth it to get an early start. They provide photos as well but I will say they were taken with a go pro camera and not the best quality. Get a waterproof case and take your own phone or camera shots.

Our 13 friends came in 2 groups and we all agreed it was one of our favourite highlights of the trip! The tour operators are so knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what they do. They are locals to the area and you can really tell they care. Getting to see the caves and water up close in kayaks is also so much fun. If you're able to, definitely would recommend it over boats, as it also aids in preservation of the local ecosystem. It seemed like there were quite a few operators in the area but we thought the kayaks this one provided were sturdier looking and easier to navigate, plus left from a less crowded beach.
