We really enjoyed this tour and being able to paddle in the coves and caves was really cool! Seeing the cliffs from the sea was the best way to view them - especially benagal cave . Tami was our guide and was great. Always very attentive to safety and making sure everyone was ok.

There is nothing private about this tour. Area was packed with groups on paddle boards, in boats and in kayaks. Come early to park. Lot was full! Tour guide was excellent! Caves were interesting and worth the effort of paddling with group. Tour group was helpful and well organized.
Awesome tour, definitely recommend the morning session before all the boats come through. Fabio was an absolute legend!
The experience was really nice. They took us to 2 locations and we had a break on the beach which was also amazing, before returning back. The equipment was also very good. The best part is that they allowed our dog to join us on the kayak. Really fun!
One of the most incredible experiences! It is incredibly beautiful and just the perfect amount of time. I recommend going on the early trip as the water got crowded later w other kayaks and boats.
All around great experience, tour took 2hrs as advertised. Lots of caves covered. Make sure to take pictures on time and ask other people from your group to take pics of you as you wont be able to. Paddling and pictures do not go together.
This is the only way to see the caves. Miguel is an amazing tour guide. It was an amazing experience going inside the caves. I highly recommend Miguel and going at 8:00 a.m. There are less people water is common beautiful.

We went on the 9am excursion. I would do that or the earlier morning tour and the wind pics up and becomes tougher paddling.

This was such a peaceful morning kayak tour of the Benagil and surrounding caves. Our guide, Niko, led a wonderful experience.
A beautiful morning exploring the natural beauty of the Benagil caves. Go early to avoid the bigger waves from the boats… and a little less “traffic” on the water. Fabio was so knowledgeable and patient.. would highly recommend him!

Highly recommend even for less sporty lot. Absolutely stunning caves and coastline including a dip on a beach. Kayaks are available for 2 or 3 people (not many other companies offer the 3 people). Worth the money. For best experience suggest early morning to avoid the crowds.
Rodrigo was a great guide and we had tons of fun. My son got a little seasick and he took time to make sure we were okay, gave us a little break,and talked us through how to avoid the problem on the return trip. I recommend going as early as possible because the sea and caves got really crowded as the morning passed.
All the guides were great and worked together to make sure everyone was safe and had a good time.
Our guide, Leon, was incredible. He speaks three languages, and he is super knowledgeable about the territory. The actual kayaking experience was great, however, you need to prepare for traffic jams, difficulty parking, long waits for other kayakers, and a steep walk back up the hill to return paddles. Because of the diligent guides, your trip will only go as quickly as your slowest kayakers dictate.

Thank you for your feedback. Everything you’ve mentioned involves factors that are beyond our control and are unrelated to our service and operations. Benagil is a very popular destination, so you should arrive early and choose a time outside of peak hours.

Very fun experience! Liam was great guide and very friendly! We went to benagil caves but also entered other caves that was very exciting! Overall this activity mer our expectations! We would definitely recommend to book an early slot and later it can become bit crowded in the see by other boats and tour operators

Our instructor was an expert in teaching the details of kayaking to both experienced and non experienced paddlers. Safety was always a top most priority while exploring Benagli’s breathtaking sea caves. We appreciated the educational and conservation tips that he offered for a wonderful experience.
This company uses inflatable kayaks, and there definitely was a hole in ours but they didn’t care. We were sitting in inches of water inside the kayak, our feet were completely underwater and so were the seats. This was after kayaking for only 20 minutes. It was not a good experience, we left the tour early

We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy our kayaks, as they’re the best models in the region, and you’re insulting one of the top companies in the Algarve offering kayaking and SUP activities.
After you arrived at the beach, we inspected the kayak you used and found no issues with it, as our kayaks are in perfect condition,
and returned to the water and sailed all day without any problems.
According to the guides, you were not comfortable in the water and did not even know how to swim, and upon seeing some water inside the kayak—which is normal in this type of water activities —you panicked and turned back without prior notice, at a spectacular time of day, 8 a.m.
Please be advised that there are no refunds for participants who drop out without a valid reason.
We hope you have a better experience the next time you return to the water.
We had a chaotic start with getting our oars and kayaks. It was quite chaotic on the water as well because there were so many boats and other kayak tours. We were on an 11:00 AM spot, and I would suggest going earlier if possible. We liked the fact that this company broke up our larger group into two, so there were only five boats in our group, which was nice vs. the very large groups we saw out there. What really impressed us is our guide, Dinis. He modified our route and somehow maneuvered it so that we avoided the crowds as much as possible, especially for our beach time and in the caves. We loved that we were the only group in the Benagil cave, which was amazing. Dinis was super nice, helpful, and informative. He really made the experience. Just know what to expect (it’s very touristy), and you’ll find it is well worth it.
Agree that we are late 10 mins little for the activity. We told everyone that we are sorry and the reason why. However there are other people who are later than us but they were not scolded or being sarcastically said at by the instructor.
Most of us are new to kayaking, and we were constantly being said to paddle faster, don’t go all the way to Morroco, what is wrong with you very sarcastically. There is no need to be so angry and rude the entire journey. Can be more ENCOURAGING. Making our entire experience not great, being so pissed while kayaking.

As your arrival was significantly delayed, the tour had already started, which unfortunately affected the rhythm and organisation of the group experience. Despite this, our team still did their best to accommodate and assist you throughout the activity.

Absolutely breath taking scenery. guides are knowledgeable, helpful and funny. Great experience. Would recommend going on the earlier times as the area seemed to get crowded with both kayakers and small boats by 10:30 am.
We went on a nice sunny day in early May. Weather was great, wind came up but we knew it would be choppy, especially at 1pm. It was lots of fun, even with the waves. We however are somewhat experienced as we canoe and kayak in Canada. But even the inexperienced kept up. Our guide Fernando (I think was his name) was excellent. Kept us all together and we got a bonus cave. Made sure everyone was safe and we got to see some incredible spots. So sign up even if your husband says it’s silly, he will love it too!
This was so much fun!!! The guides were great and we saw such amazing caves and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.
The trip was wonderful! Sebastian our guide was super knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole trip. I would definitely recommend brining a change of clothes if you’re not hanging around the beach after the trip has finished, as you do get wet. The only negative is you do have to wait around in your kayaks, for about 10-15mins outside Benagil cave, for other groups to enter and exit. It’s like a queue system. The rest of the trip runs super smooth with incredible view. An absolute must do when you are in Portugal!

Great experience with a personable and knowledgeable guide, Eugene. Loved being able to navigate the kayaks into and around the caves and sea cliffs. Great close up viewing for our family of eight....6 adults and two teenagers.
