Ron was a great guide. He knew all of the history of the city plus made recommendations for things we could do after the tour was over. Showed us how to use public transportation so we could get around quickly and economically. Would recommend highly.

Thank you, Ron!!! Our local tour guide was Ron and he went above and beyond for us. He took us to all the sites we asked for and then some. He had so many interesting and fun facts about his beautiful city. He even spent an additional 45 minutes past our time to make sure we got to see everything and end at the Christmas Market we wanted to be at. He also took the time to text us more sites to see during our visit and great places and food to eat. I highly recommend this tour. We saw plenty of very large group tours throughout the city, but having this small group of just us made it much more personal and tailor made for us. Thank you again Ron!

Melinda was a super guide, taking us through the main Vienna district and showing us all the major sites of historical importance and also showing us some culinary highlights! She was knowledgeable about haspberg and austro Hungarian empire and really gave us insight into the historical context of the city.

Was a nice walking tour of downtown Vienna. Ron was super helpful, not just on the tour, but in giving suggestions how to transfer from the airport, what other sites to see when we weren’t on the tour, even arranged for us to end our tour at a traditional Viennese restaurant and had made reservations for us in advance. Made everything easy and customized to our requests.

The guide was a very nice man, but it was not the experience we were hoping for. He was not from Austria- or even Europe and had only lived here for 2 years. He did not plan our day at all and he constantly asked us what we wanted to do. If we knew we would not have paid the money for a guide.

Sadly this was a terrible experience in which our guide seemed to lack any real knowledge of Vienna. An hour long walk resulted in viewing a single concrete structure associated with World War 2 and apart from a (very) long distance viewing of some important buildings such as Parliament etc that was it.
No history, not a single mention of Habsburgs, Austro-Hungarian empire, modern day politics, buildings’ history etc etc. A very personable companion but clearly lacking in substantive knowledge of the subject.

We provided a LOT of detail for what we DID (hidden gems) & did NOT (churches & museums) want.
We also asked for restaurants for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
She ended up spending 70% of our time on this. She showed us only ONE hidden gem - window for takeout. No hidden gardens or anything unique. We had a MUCH better private tour in Brussels last year.
She needed to review ALL our requests before the tour to ensure she covered them ALL.

Great tour to take to become familiar with the city and see it through the eyes of a local. My guide for the day was Kate and it really felt like I was spending the day being shown around by a friend. She also helped me decipher my train tickets and plan for my onward train journey. I would highly recommend this tour.
