What To Expect
Make your way to the historic Musikverein in Vienna to begin your evening. Settle into your selected seat and enjoy a performance from the Vienna Music Orchestra, 30 musicians from top Viennese orchestras devoted exclusively to the works of Mozart. - The Vienna Mozart Orchestra Program is available for purchase on the evening of concert. It is approximately EUR6 per program.
- Smart evening attire is advised. No sneakers, jeans or shorts are permitted in the concert halls.

I paid for cat 1 seating and ended up with cat 2 seating. You have to be vigilant with the ticket especially with a big crowd

Fabulous concert. Sat on the stage with the orchestra on the left side and could watch the maestro direct his musicians, which was highly entertaining. Soloists were outstanding. Despite dress code listed in ticket info, many were wearing sneakers and casual jeans, which apparently wasn’t a problem. All coats and shopping bags have to be checked in the basement. It is a MUST SEE concert!

THIS IS A HUGE SCAM. I have been to several classical music concerts in my live and I nver thought I would find anything as bad as this. It was a waste of money and time. Plus I wrote to them to get a refund and no response.

The hall is not what’s shown on the photos! People with this ticket get shuffed into a different hall. The seating is terrible, chairs are tiny and no leg space. Couldn’t see the orchestra and audience were filming and disruptive. Really disappointing considering the exorbitant amount.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I was fortunate enough to get a free upgrade to second row where I was a metre from the orchestra. The hall is stunning. I felt transported back in time.

The concert was great, however there are 2 rooms where the performance may be. We thought based on the pictures that we would have been in the Gold Room which is what we hoped, but, the performance ended up being in the other room. We enjoyed it very much but disappointed it was not in the Gold Room.

Music and performance was amazing. Need to be careful when choosing your seats. Turns out we were sitting behind a post and seats were too low so we’re not able to see the entire stage….just the tops of their heads

I was worried the Brahm Hall would not be up on par with the Golden Hall but it was still beautiful inside and probably more intimate. I have no idea how I got such good seats but it made my evening when we were pretty close to the front. The music was great, although half consisted of opera singers with the orchestra and the other just the orchestra. I loved the conductor who tried to keep the audience engaged by having us clap and at times laugh. It’s a long show but worth it during our visit to Vienna.

Great experience - the seats are a bit hard so if you have trouble sitting for an hour at a time bring a small pad to make it more comfortable.

The venue was enormous. We opted for category B, but our seating arrangement was terrible. Those who purchased standing tickets for €15 had a significantly better view than us. The program was also disappointing. We attended another smaller venue where the orchestra performed much better. It was a blend of music, opera, ballet, and Austrian dance. This one was more akin to church music. This concert was very boring.

Do not select balcony seats in 2nd or 3rd row. Viator should not sell these seats. They are terrible. We could not see the conductor, 2/3 of the orchestra and the opera singers. Very disappointed.

The concert is good BUT
I stopped by your staff checking the ticker and she said I couldn’t wear the jacket inside the concert hall. In fact, I wore trousers and shirt even I travelled from Australia because I aware no jeans and sneakers policy as per your dress code on your ticket. However there were so many guests wearing jeans etc. and they allowed to enter the concert hall. I dressed appropriately as per dress code policy and I got questions about the jacket. I did respect the concert with APPROPRIATE dress but I received a very BAD attitude from the staff.

Excellent show. Best clarinet solo I have ever heard. Loved the costumes and the building was spectacular. The tour notes said smart casual and no sneakers. I was concerned about this since I need orthotics and I only have sneakers. I found my least sneaker-like pair and worried if I was going to have a problem. I needn’t have worried. There were more people there in sneakers than weren’t and they weren’t trying to hide it. Still, try to look respectable when you go to nice places.

Loved our experience.
The musicians were very talented. Two hours of amazing music. They interacted with the audience a bit at the end and made us all laugh. Everything was impeccable. The venue was gorgeous.
Viator upgraded our seats to balcony as a very kind feature since it was our anniversary and we booked all our trip excursions through Viator.
My only complaint is that they said no pics or video allowed, which I respected of course, but did not try to enforce it so everyone else was recording. People in got in front of our seats to take pics (we had an unobstructed view or the event from the balcony).

Really cool experience getting to hear some of Mozart’s classics in such an iconic setting. The concert was very accessible — even as someone who rarely listens to classical music, I found it really enjoyable and well paced.
The venue (Musikverein) is stunning, with incredible acoustics and beautiful design. The process of getting tickets was pretty smooth, and it was pretty easy to navigate once inside (other than the surprise intermission which was unclear). Definitely recommend it if you're visiting Vienna — even if you're a classical music beginner!

The music was great. The venue is beautiful but the seating was absolutely horrific. We paid more than $100 per seat to sit in a hard wooden chair that didn't even face the stage. My husband removed his chair and sat in the hallway so my brother and I could have enough room to sort of angle to see the stage.
