    Itinerary

Meet your expert guide in central Vienna and travel by air-conditioned minivan to the famous Prater amusement park. After a short stroll through the park, home to the city’s iconic giant ferris wheel, collect your downhill cross scooter — a hi-tech, non-motorized 2-wheeler.

Don your supplied helmet and enjoy a practice ride through the park and campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, famous for its innovative and colorful buildings.

Once you’re confident, it’s time to up the pace with a downhill ride. Head for Kahlenberg, a wooded hill to the north of the city, and after an opportunity to see the beautiful Klosterneuburg Monastery and admire the panoramic city views, take an exhilarating ride down the roads coiled around the slopes.

Take to your scooter and be prepared to reach speeds of up to 39 miles per hour (64kph), slowing to negotiate the sharp bends on the way down— it’s a serious thrill.

Continue with two other downhill rides, including one in the Exelberg area, where the hillsides are coated in leafy urban vineyards. Take to your scooter and zoom down the steep, snaking roads, cruising through the gorgeous scenery.

Later, return to central Vienna where your experience ends with a drop-off at the start point or the subway station nearest to it.

Fantastic-Christina was amazing - very knowledgeable, fun and we really enjoyed the experience- thank you.

    Free tour?

    Debra_P, Jan 2026
Our tour guide was very good. Friendly, informed and helpful with questions. Only comment I wish to make is he brought up this was a free tour and dependent on tips. I paid Viator $25 for the tour. I’ve been on “free tours many times as an intro to a new city. . These “free tours” in my experiences are generally $4-5 for administrative fees. This was not so I didn’t consider free. I was happy to tip my tour guide as he make the experience positive for the group but generally tip much more when actually “semi free”.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Debra_P, Thank you very much for your kind review and for your valuable feedback! We are glad to hear that your guide was friendly, informed and helpful. We sincerely apologise for the confusion regarding the tour format and the tipping mention. Your feedback is very important to us and we take it seriously — we will address this with our guides to ensure clearer communication for all future guests. We hope to welcome you back to Vienna soon! Best regards, Conny

    Great orientation to Vienna

    Sheryl_H, Dec 2025
Our guide, Michael, gave us a great orientation to Vienna on our first day here-- highly recommend. He is a fantastic storyteller, the time flew by, we learned more history of the Hapsburgs and Vienna, and have recommendations for the rest of our stay. Thank you!

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

    Our guide was very...

    Lorrie_L, Sep 2025
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Vienna and the area. If I had booked a historical tour I would have given him a good review. However, this was supposed to be a city tour. He gave us almost no information about the buildings and sights of Vienna.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Lorrie_L, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback and for your kind words about our guide's knowledge of Vienna's history. We are sorry to hear that the tour did not match your expectations of a city sightseeing tour and that the focus on regional history left you wanting more information about the buildings and sights. We take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve how we communicate the focus of our different tours, so that guests can choose the one that best suits their interests. We truly appreciate your input and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a tour that better matches what you were looking for. Warm regards, Conny

    History tour

    James_M, Sep 2025
He focused more on the regions history than the buildings/churches in Vienna. Also we paid about $23/person via Viator while others enroled in a free tour. Not sure how that worked.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear James, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that the tour content did not fully align with your expectations, particularly regarding the focus on regional history versus the city's buildings and churches. We also understand that the pricing situation via Viator was confusing, and we sincerely apologize for any lack of clarity. We take your comments very seriously and will work to improve the transparency of our tour descriptions and pricing information. We hope you will give us another chance and that we can provide you with an experience that better meets your expectations. Warm regards, Conny

    Great overview

    Revell_M, Jul 2025
Well informed guide. Tour provided a solid overview of Vienna’s “old city” and gave me a sense of what to follow up on. Solid introduction to experiencing Vienna.

    Very interesting view...

Very interesting sight and explanations of the guide, a Portuguese, whose name I did not withhold. The bad thing is it was so cold.
