Best Way to Experience Vienna!

What an incredible way to see Vienna! We learned so much from our tour guide, Lisa! We loved hearing about the history in Vienna, while experiencing the beautiful architecture. Lisa was energetic, interesting and knowledgeable. She also gave us great recommendations for Christmas markets and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed this private tour for our family of 6 adults (ages 27 to 61). Thank you so much!

What a wonderful experience. Lisa was the best guide. She was very informative and fun to listen to as we walked the city. While the walk was long, she kept a pace that worked for us (we are in our 60s and 70s). Such great information at each stage of the walk. I highly recommend this private walk with Lisa!

Our guide was fantastic - she was full of energy and very knowledgeable. The fact that she was born and raised in Vienna and moved to the US at age 10, before moving back as an adult, gave her unique insights that our group appreciated. Of the 15 attendees, 12 were from Vienna and 3 from the US - all felt they learned something on the tour

Should have been a better tour

The goal of these tours ought to be first hand visits of key historical and cultural points as well as provision of rich information about culture, his, art, etc. The tour was disappointing because it did NOT provide that. The guide (Hernando) talked about a lot of things but did not give in depth information about history and culture.

My husband and I were very happy with the private tour of Vienna with Marco. He was very personable and had so much knowledge about the city and the history of Vienna and Austria. It was relaxing because we were doing the tour we wanted to do and not with a big group! Marco showed us places to go to after our tour as well which really helped. Well worth the extra money, especially if you want to really understand Vienna.

Marko was an incredible guide to the most beautiful city I’ve ever toured. It was easy to meet up and get started. He took the time to introduce himself and his background as well as get to know us to make us feel comfortable. Marko was so incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything to do with Vienna whether it was history, culture, architecture, or just random facts. It was all fascinating. This is an absolute must-do if you are visiting Vienna and I cannot stress enough to try and get Marko as your guide because he really made it special.

Incomplete tour

Paid over $300 for a 2 1/2 hour tour - in less than 2 rushed hours our private guide left us. I figure you owe me $60 refund. What we got was okay commentary separated by silence or chitchat as we raced to the next venue.

I spoke with your guide and he told me that you seemed to enjoy the tour a lot, and that you finished at 12:20pm, so that would make the tour 2 hours and 20 minutes. This is also one of our guides who always receives 5* star reviews and feedback, however, I'm really sorry you didn't enjoy the experience.

A great way to see Vienna

Claudia was a phenomenal guide, taking us down some less traveled streets and stories we otherwise would not have seen and been exposed to. She was a true historian for the area and helped us navigate the trains for our trip later that day to the Summer Palace. She pointed out the key items and history of them along the way and encouraged us to have lunch at a tucked away place that we did go back to and it was fantastic. Well worth our time!

Excellent walking introduction to Vienna and its history

Hernando was an excellent tour guide. He gave us an informative and entertaining tour of the old parts of Vienna. His knowledge of the city and its history was extensive, and the tour was perfect for us. We learned so much but also enjoyed the walk, and it set us up to go back to visit the actual museums or buildings that we could focus on during our second and final day. I highly recommend this tour for both the length and the quality.
