Only If You Love Late Nights

15 years ago I would have had so much fun on this tour, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re past your party phase. The tour started 90 minutes late in a noisy, crowded pub and it was slightly chaotic but kinda fun. The first pub brought back so many memories of University days, it was a beautiful library styled bar called PickWicks. From there it kind of went downhill with tons of chaotic shooters, no clear direction and just being yelled at by pretty girls in short skirts. Highly recommend if you’re a student in your early 20’s or a young friend group. For 40 + like me I’d book something with more structure.

Group of six of us were just a little late due to our Bolt getting stopped at a checkpoint. Once we got to the meeting point- group was nowhere to be found. No number to call and the host never messaged me about a question I had the day prior, so the chat was also not a reliable option. Not to mention, I only even knew what time the event started from another negative review in the comments. We were all disappointed to miss the experience and over $100 wasted.

Very good value for money as you get a free shot with every drink you purchase. There weren’t many drinking games but it was still an enjoyable night as we were able to go to clubs for free and meet people from around the world. Dick Mack’s had a really good atmosphere and cheap drinks (we would love to go back) but the drinks that the second bar were much more expensive.

There was no starting time listed on this tour. I messaged the operator as soon as i booked but never received a response. A location was given but no starting time. I did not go because i wasn't about to just show up and wait all night for the bar crawl. Would of been nice to know when to arrive. Very disappointed as this was my only night in Vienna.

For clarity, our tours always begin at 21:00. Small Bars

The people working the event were GREAT! They were very communicative and organized. The bars were very cool. All places I wouldn’t know to go to myself and very different places. The only problem was that we went on a Saturday with a very large group and the bars are all very small with only 1 or 2 bartenders. If it was a smaller group it would have been great but because the group was so big, it took us more than a half hour to get drinks at some of the bars. Overall still a fun experience but I wish the group was smaller and we were able to enjoy the drinks at each place.

This,was good craic. Oscar the tour guide was lovely. More for a younger age group though. My self and my friend are in our 50s and felt very old as all the others were in their 20s or 30s.

The group was much too big. There were at least 50 people in the group. It took 20-30 minutes to order drinks at the bars. The guides were very friendly, but there were simply too many people. I could see this pub crawl being fun if they limited the size to around 30 people.

This was a very fun experience! It was a little unorganized at the beginning, but once it got rolling it was a great time. The bars were fun and the drink specials were good. It was a fun way to get to know people from all over the world and to get to know Vienna a little bit. Definitely a wild night, so come prepared to drink!

Not worth it

Overall not worth it. We basically didn't get any free drinks except for one shot. The end point was different than said and we had to use public transport to get there (it was in the middle of nowhere and we had to take an expensive cab home). Hosts were also not that friendly.

I actually want a refund as i feel ripped off. They say 3 drinks are included but 2 of the free drinks are at the first pub which is vert crowded and where u wait 15 minutes to get a drink, and the total stay time is 1 hour. So u cant get the second drink. And they dont even give u wine And third drink is non alcoholic, so technically there is no third drink. Also, there is no organization at all; they just tell u to go downstairs and u hang out yourself, u cant even know who else is at the pub crawl at this very crowded pub. If u went alone u just stand on your own. If u are a group why would u need this crawl. Google and find the pubs you fancy to go, no need tp pay these people

What a fun night was it! I came alone and for the first hour I thought I’m gonna stay alone and the whole thing is gonna be canceled because it is Tuesday, not the most busy day of the week for hanging out, but the host and hostess were super friendly and make sure to keep a very warm and engaging atmosphere. Eventually three more people joined along the way, and we started our tour. We laughed so much and had such a great time, playing games, singing karaoke, and eventually even going to a club and meeting cool young strangers at the metro and bringing them with us to the club. It was truly an outstanding night.

But calling it a scam is extremely unfair to so many people that try to make this tour work smoothly every night of the year. The pub crawl offers 2 Drinks and 1 shot (at the club). In addition, we provide also extra shots to the winners of the challenges we organize. And this is exactly what you received. We DO provide what we offer, and we do this with an extremely generous price compared to current prices of bars/restaurants/tours in Vienna. Overall was fun and the host were friendly, although you had to chase them for your drinks tokens. No mention that we had to get on the metro to the nightclub, and we ended up a 20€ Uber west of where we started in the centre. Free entry and queue jump at club.

The worst pub crawl that I have ever joined! The second bar was closed and we stayed in the first one for over 2 hours! the last club was far away and turned out it’s empty and not fun!

Tour was very boring. They took us to a pub that was boarded up. Like its been closed for a while. So we stayed at the one bar we met at. I could have done better on my own. Was really disappointed. I left the tour with some of the other people on the tour and we had a great time on our own.

Not Worth it at this Location

Went on these pub crawls in many cities, all were much much better than this one. Worst one so far! Made us stay as only one bar, didn’t tell us it was cash only, then took us on the metro in which you should’ve paid for or break the law, then into a small nightclub where cheapest cocktail was 13€.

I went there alone and had so much fun. You'll find a variety of people coming together. Most are on their travel in Austria, and want to have fun/ share their experiences. You definitely find someone to talk to. The guides were super nice and knew how to hype us up. They managed to get the crowd safe to all places. We went to four different locations, 2 pubs & 2 clubs, and got the free drinks as included. You can decide between beer or longdrinks with shots. The ticket price is so cheap, most clubs charge €15 entry let alone we went to different spots AND had drinks included. My only issue is at some point you feel like drinking more, but some of the places had slightly higher prices. But I don't think it's fair to hold the pub crawl accountable. Overall I had a great experience, so much that I joined the next evening again !!

Unfortunately we only went to two places because the other ones were closed on Monday, but apart from that we had a good time! Oscar was a great energetic guide, and would recommend to do this crawl when visiting Vianna. Lots of free or cheap drinks, and you'll probably learn a new drinking game or two :)

Overall, we thought this was reasonable value and good fun. 2 beers and 2 shots included pp. The first bar was excellent (Dick Macs), the second, lesser so..... and by the time we hit the Club, anything went. The guides were great. The Club doormen were weird, and insisted those without jackets enter first 🤷‍♂️30.03.2024
