Choose from two different options with this one-way private water taxi service from your Venice hotel to Marco Polo Airport.
• Meet and greet service: A transfer representative will meet you in your hotel lobby if the hotel does not have a private pier. You will then be escorted to a waiting motorboat at the nearest departure point. If your hotel has a private pier, you will hop aboard the motorboat there on your own, and a representative will meet you at Marco Polo Airport and escort you to the departure terminal.
• Full service: A representative will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and accompany you all the way to the airport departure terminal.Motorboats can accommodate up to six people and six pieces of luggage. Transfer service is available 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. Please provide flight and hotel details when making your booking. You’ll receive immediate confirmation and a voucher to present to the transfer representative. Please call the number on your voucher between 24 and 48 hours prior to your departure to confirm your transfer.
Price is per person, based on six adults per motorboat.
Please note: Guests staying at Venice’s Hotel Marriott (Isola delle Rose) will need to pay a surcharge of €20 at the time of service due to the hotel’s more distant location. This transfer service is not available to Mestre hotels.

- If there are bad weather conditions (such as fog, frozen water, or stormy conditions) on the day of your transfer, you will be diverted via Piazzale Roma by vehicle

- Due to the Hotel Marriot location (Isola delle Rose), transfer to/from this Hotel are subjected to a surcharge of €20, payable on spot

We were met at the pickup location by the concierge who emailed earlier to clarify the pickup location near our apartment. The taxi boat arrived on time and went directly to the airport, accomoanied by the concierge.
Fantastic service! Don’t hesitate to book this, it’s without doubt the best way to end your trip to Venice.
Tour was delayed due to arrangements of another group and them not wanting to split up. We only did a drive by of the Plaza which was a bummer. Overall good tour.
Viator needs to update their website so that one can request the group remain together in one golf cart. One assumes that when you make the reservation, that you will be in one golf cart. This especially important when traveling with children or elderly parents.
No show. Had to book a separate taxi last minute when the provider was over a half hour without showing.
Prompt pickup. Smooth transport. For us this was worth the money to have an easy transport and no worry or stress.
Do not book this. I was never contacted for my pickup information and they did not respond to my attempt or Viator attempts to reach them. At the last min I had to scramble and order my own water taxi via hotel.
We needed 3 water taxis to take 15 people and luggage from our inner city center hotel on Venice island to the airport. The taxi coordinator showed up 15 minutes before our requested departure time and helped to coordinate our loading of luggage and people on the 3 water taxis. We arrived at the Marco Polo Airport on time.
Water taxi was on time and picked us up at hotel dock at 3am for an early flight out of VCE. Quick ride got us to the airport in less than 30 min while we got a lovely ride through canals and open water. They didn’t confirm pick up until 3pm the day before which was a little anxiety provoking but it all worked out! Highly recommend!
Not only did we get the transfer, but when we arrived at the airport someone met us and helped us get exactly where we needed! Wonderful experience!
We were met at our hotel by a wonderful young woman who lead us to the boat. Once at the airport she helped us get our tax refund and brought us to our check in. This was an amazing experience and well worth every penny! Highly recommend for everyone.
Nicole met us outside our place, friendly and customer service oriented. She connected us with our boat driver who helped us with loading and unloading our luggage. The boat driver provided a smooth, relaxing ride to the airport.

Convenient pick up directly in front of hotel. Transport to airport was less than 20 minutes and offers chance to see sights from main canal on the way.
Better than expected! Met just outside our apartment and taken to our taxi boat. Guide stayed with us and came in to the airport to ensure we were happy!
We had a very short ride to our hotel but it was nice to be met at the train station and not need to try to figure out how to get where we needed to go.
The Viator company did not confirm time of departure; they did not pick our group up. We had to scramble to find another company for transportation. They have not refund the amount
They originally scheduled my transfer for 630 am for an 11 am flight, claiming this was a shared transfer despite me booking a private transfer. Hotel staff called to correct this and confirm a more reasonable time. Despite confirmation, the taxi pilot was 27 minutes late and unapologetic. His vape smoke was blowing on us during the ride. It smelled like vanilla. We did make it to the airport, however you may want to have your hotel arrange your transportation and give yourself a time buffer to ensure you make it in a timely manner. There is a 1 km walk from the boat dock to airport check-in so bring some cash to hire a minivan to drive you if you want to skip the walk and/or save some time.
The actual service was amazing. The only problem was communication. We had trouble communicating with them, and it became very nervous as transportation is hard to come by.
The transfer is not from the hotel, it is from the water taxi dock. The confirmation that was sent to the hotel the day before our departure indicated that we should meet at the dock but the lady went to the hotel to meet us. She was very pleasant and her colleague travelled with us to the airport and found a porter for us.
It was worth the money for me, I use a cane & pull my suitcase,
instead of using a regular water taxi then the shuttle bus to the airport. At the airport wharf, they have built a walkway to the terminal instead of having to use a shuttle bus.

I booked the airport departure in the private boat as a surprise for my husband. The company didn’t pick us up at our hotel despite the request to do so. The driver arrived on time to the meeting spot however was slightly rude when he asked my husband not to eat on board (which he immediately stopped and apologised for). The trip is about 30mins so would recommend only booking in the daytime as night time it’s too difficult to enjoy the view due to the low lighting. I would also say given the driver’s abruptness with us it tainted our experience. For a trip costing over £200 one way, it just didn’t feel worth the money which was a shame.

We needed a transfer to Marco Polo Airport at 4 AM. The company was actually ahead of time, handled all of the luggage, and got us to the airport via water taxi and land taxi in plenty of time.

As a solo traveler in a country that I’ve never visited before, I needed someone who spoke English to get me to the airport for a 6:00 AM flight from Venice. Viator was recommended and they did not disappoint. They told me what time they would pick me up and they were there minutes earlier. They got me to the airport in record time, entered the airport with me and made sure that I checked in and checked my luggage. I highly recommend them to others that travel solo or with others.
This was the way to end our trip! The water taxi was 5 minutes early and calmly waited for us to get to the lobby. Kind, friendly and helpful. But the real treat was the service given at the airport. Wecwent with the complete package. The young man walked with us to get our tax refund, manuevrd us through each step and dropped us at at the luggage drop. No stressing about trying to figure out where to go. It was a breeze with fun conversation and no worries. Who knew navigating an unknown airport could be fun!
