If you’re late there will be no way to communicate with the guide. Instructions had a link but get there 5 min late and the whole thing is off. Caveat emptor!

The guide was very knowledgeable but you are not in the church for very long. You would likely do well here on your own too. Ask for specific location to meet guide. We were behind museo correr but that was very unclear.

The tour stated we would sit in he church to listen to the tour guide. The tour guide told us we could not sit. I told her the tour states that and she said no. I booked the tour because said you can sit. Also we did not get radios until we asked for it and we had to wait.

Our guide for this brief tour was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot and enjoyed the tour. I would have liked more detailed information on where to meet the group at the start of the tour. The instructions on the app were vague. I would not recommend using Viator for booking, I would use "Get Your Guide" instead.

You overbooked and we didn’t get the tour at all. I’m very disappointed with Viator for not realizing we had no tour available to us. The tour operator we were sent to was wonderful and sent us on a free gondola ride. He offered us a Saturday St Mark’s tour but we couldn’t stay in Venice until then.

We bought skip the line tickets. While waiting to start the tour, the guide told us they did not have the tickets and we would need to wait to get the tickets and we could 1) cancel the tour and get our money back, 2) see how the line was moving and if it was too long, cancel the tour and get our money back, 3) wait in line and attend the tour. We looked at the line and decided to cancel our tour. Then went to the meeting point and spoke with the tour organizer and he confirmed we would be able to get our money back. He called the office and then told us we would get our money back. When we returned home, the tour operator told us we could not get a refund. The operator told us the guide and organizer did not have the authority to approve the refund. We did not request the refund, the idea of a refund was suggested by the guide. All the tour representatives present at the time of the tour indicated we could get a refund. This is completely wrong. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR THIS TOUR OR FROM THE TOUR OPERATOR.

Though our guide was friendly, we paid for skip the line and still had to wait in line for close to two hours. Instead of skipping the line we had to go to the end and wait for everyone else to go inside.

We were getting a little burned out in tours. We met the guide a bit early and they gave us our admission ticket and we saw it on our own - it's beautiful - not as much light as I would have thought but it may be because of the scaffolding.

Our tour guide, Alberto, was very difficult to understand. His English was not very good. His narrative sounded like he was reading from a textbook. Not terribly interesting. The only good thing is that we got to skip the very long line queuing outside the basilica (on a Saturday). Inside the church was extremely crowded and we had to queue inside for about 45 minutes to go up to the balcony. Overall, not good value for money. The experience may have been completely different on a different day with a different guide.

The description says "seated visit is ideal" and "you'll settle into a comfortable seat" but we did not sit once. We booked this tour specifically for my mother who has mobility issues and we were counting on her being able to sit. That didn't happen. Our guide was very nice, but we did not get the experience described on Viator that we had hoped for.

The views!
Unfortunately, our guide seemed to be bored and just going through the motions and took a personal phone call for a few minutes which we could all hear. She wouldn’t have known who was in our group

The description of tour tells - you will be seated in the basilica to observe mosaics and frescoes. LIE! It is not allowed. So - just quick go around central part and then visit of gallery.
The tour guide provided only basic information. The cost of tour - only for the entrance without line.
