- DOGES PALACE OPENING HOURS: From 09:00am to 6:00pm (last admission 5:00pm).

Great experience, beautiful palace. We had audio on our phone, each room easily marked. Only suggestion was we had to get our tickets at their office and was kinda hard to find. Why cant they be like all others and be mobile? We did get a chance to go to bell tower, wow.

We wanted tickets to Doge’s Palace and the time we wanted wasn’t available on the official website. We went to Viator and were able to get tickets at the time we wanted and it was the same price. The office was easy to find with good directions and the staff were friendly. Easy experience.

This experience was awful. We got to the palace after booking priority tickets however upon arrival the app that we were asked to download for the tour guide was not loading. We asked for support from three staff members however no one would help us. We contacted this app to ask for help however no one would help us. Each person said it was the other staff members issue. This was absolutely appalling to have paid so much for so little service. Do not book through this app and do not bother wasting your time coming to the palace.

The guide book is for all of Venice … which could be good … but shared very little about the Doge Palace. Skipping the line was nice even though the lines are short this time of year!! If I had to do it over … I would get basic entrance ticket and use the audio guide.

They made us come to them instead of bringing our stuff and meet at the visiting place which was the original plan I signed up for. It was raining and we had no idea where we are going. They were nice to send us their location, but for a foreign traveler it was extra hassle. They didn’t give us all the tings listed as promised. We only could make 2 events and we paid for 3 because they told us the wrong time. It closed at 4pm but they told us open until 5pm. We went right at 4pm and they said they are closed. We requested refund for the third event since it was not our fault and for the hassle of going extra mile to receive our instructions. We shall see if the will honor it.

We were very disappointed that we weren't able to go in directly at the gate at the venue and had to walk around to try to find some tourist office which also couldn't print up our voucher for an hour after we purchased it. It implied we were getting a guide but we didn't get a guide. We paid over $50 for something that would have cost us $25 to just book on our own. Very inconvenient and makes me wonder if I would use them for the future tours. Recommend just booking it yourself not through by your website as it looks like they just doubled the price

The voucher redeem point was quite far.The people there were not helpful. The guide required an app...then too it did not work properly. The rooms has rnough description, no need for the guide, google/wiki is enough.
At least two hour is needed for the palace and prison alone. Museum correr is also big, one needs another at least two hours.

We feel that this was a waste of money. The Doge Palace offers it's own audio guide that is more informative and sequential with the tour. We had problems downloading several links on this tour and we were constantly having to figure out which ones to listen to since they didn't follow the Palace tour route. The audio guide links were informative when we could figure out what to listen to do that is why the two stars review.

The palace itself was beautiful, but the experience around it was really disappointing. I really wish I read the reviews more carefully.
The “guidebook” included was just a generic book of Venice, not very helpful for a self-guided tour of the palace.
The app for the audio guide didn’t work. This was after having mobile data and pre downloading the app and guide at the collection point for the tickets. Then trying using data at the Palace, and then trying with WiFi at the palace. We contacted the provider on Viator app to have an AI answer encouraging us to go back to the collection point, except we had already entered the palace. We resorted to buying the official Doge’s Palace audio guide as well.
I followed up again the following day, then again 1 week later, only to receive chatbot replies saying my case was “escalated.” It’s been two weeks and I've not hears from the provider/company directly.
I recommend buying tickets directly and using the official audio guide or tour. This was overpriced and not worth the hassle.

We just walked around the palace , didn’t realise until we got there there was no guide , we were just given a book , the only plus side is we skipped the queue to get in
My own fault for not reading the tour correctly but was mislead by Webb site saying trips were getting sold out , you could easily pay on the day

The Doges Palace has a lot of history and so I recommend a guided tour.

Skip-the-line always makes sense and so much to see.
The jail space goes on forever, more than needed, but crossing the Bridge of Sighs was memorable, and only one way out.
Much more than expected, so don’t miss the palace!

Rude staff, very unprofessional.
Directions to pick up prepaid tickets were not in the meeting point’ details, I had to follow up with the company directly.
Then to get the tickets a rude customer service representative sent me on a wild goose chase as opposed to reading the material in front of her. Took us 45 minutes to sort out confusion. Taking 45 mins away from timed entry tickets.

Doge’s palace is definitely worth seeing, so opulent and just a wow moments. Then getting to see the bridge of sighs from the inside and the prison was amazing. Small door ways etc.

Beautiful place & history. Would go back, but not in the summer. Too hot & crowded. Excellent tour guide, but her microphone had a short so when she was walking it was staticky. Standing still was great!
