I am a boater and was really looking forward to the cruise. 1st the meeting place was in an obscure and difficult to find location in boat yard, on different island than venice. No worries, we eventually figured that out. The boat was nice enough a big 41 footer. The captain was nice enough but barely spoke any english, and spent 90% of the time looking into his phone. The snacks were a couple individual packs of chips. Was expecting a bit more interaction and perhaps some discussion about what we were seeing

Dear Dennis, We are sorry you are disappointed with the tour and we understand you had expectations however there are a few points I'd like to clarify: The meeting address is at Giudecca which is actually part of Venice, it is not a different island it's part of the city and it can be easily reached by water-bus. The boat is docked at the shipyard and we keep it as meeting point because that is the safest and easiest place to board guests; (due to regulation and limitations especially for a boat of that dimension it's not easy to find docking spaces). The captain is a local so his english is not perfect perhaps, but we thought it to be part of the experience. Finally we offer different type of drinks and chips but we never promised food or particular snacks so please for anyone who wish to book the tour, take time to read properly the description of the tour to avoid any disappointment.

Once in a lifetime Venice experience!

The boat was amazing and so was the host. He was a fantastic guide and a lovely man. Nothing was too much trouble. We knew we were in for a treat but never expected such an amazing experience. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone.
