The excursion was very interesting and informative. I highly recommend.
Not happy with the provider. Original time 12 PM was changed to 11 AM, and I wasn't notified. Please note that excursion entry point is Museo Correr, not Clock Tower.

What a totally amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience! The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging. We got to see Venice from a perspective that many people will never see.
WARNING though, the meeting point is next to the Museo Corro ticket office, 15 minutes before the actual start time. Give yourself time to get though security AND the ticket office first.

I was given a "voucher" several weeks before the event and told when I would be able to visit the clock tower on the day agreed to and where I would be able to 'redeem' my voucher. I tried to get clarification on why I did not simply get a ticket and a time. After several attempts before I left for Venice , I tried again the DAY BEFORE and finally got an email back saying so sorry they could not get tickets. So I went to the hotel concierge and they got me two tickets for the same day, so much for Viator. I'll also add that a tour I booked with Viator for the day before was cancelled on me only two hours before before the tour was to begin, so two out of three tours through them in Venice were SOL. Ruined a good part of my time in Venice.

I have requested a full refund as you twice cancelled my booking…I never went on this trip as you never sent me tickets I bought same day tickets
I had been a very pleased customer up till now but am questioning future bookings

What experience? There are at least 4 references on their website about this clock tower tour being a guided tour by a professional guide. So we get there at the appointed time and place and we can't find the guide. Now we are running around between the Correr Museum where we are supposed to meet and the clock tower, and still no sign of a guide. Then we started to call and email Viator. By the time they replied back and said it's not a guided tour even though I pointed out and send them pictures it's a guided tour in black and white on their own website, but they still didn't tell us where we are supposed to go up to the clock tower. I asked for a refund and Viator refused saying the tickets are not refundable.

good morning, you are right: we made a mistake in the description of the service, which was entered as a guided tour when it is actually an independent tour. We have already arranged for a full refund of what you paid, which will be returned to you by VIATOR. We apologize for this error and for your inconvenience

we were supposed to be under the clock tower at 2pm - we were there at 1:45.
we waited, waited, waited until 2:10, no tour guide shows up.
we ask other tour guides who were close by to lead other tours if they had any suggestions.
other tour guide says go to the Museo Correr ticket office, since they are associated with the Clock Tower
we go to the ticket office across St. Marks square.
we try to explain to the ticket office woman who was there.
she says, she does not know why they were not there.
she gives us green stickers to put on our shirts, so the tour guide can identify us.
she tells us to go back to the Clock tower and wait for the tour guide. It is about 1:20 now.
we agree and go back to stand under the clock tower.
nobody shows up...we wait until 2:45, nobody comes.
we go back to ticket office to let her know and she is very dismissive and will not look at us, and all of a sudden she can't speak good English. I asked her, why dont you just send the tour guide to the ticket office, we will wait here, and then we can walk over to the Clock Tower it is only across St. Marks Square.
she says she can't do that.
WE became angry and told her that we will contact Viator and complain.
she did not offer any apology and we left.
