Great way to tour Tokyo

The hop on hop off bus is the best way to tour every city and it was no different in Tokyo, the stops were convenient, the buses were on time, available and stop in the main attractions Tokyo has to offer. The 3 routes were very easy to navigate. Very happy with the experience.

Unfortunately it was a rainy day and there was very little covered seating. They did bring in a covered bus, but we were already pretty damp from waiting out in the elements.

DON’T DO IT. Beyond bad. Very long waits bad waste of a day

Don’t go! I’ve done many hop on off buses all over. Always have a great time and fun little city overview. The Tokyo experience was beyond bad. We were told the bus picks up every 20 minutes… not so. We went to the main pick up location and wait 1.5 hours for the first bus. We got a copy of the printed schedule and there were many long gaps that could leave you stranded for long periods without bus coverage. We had a ticket voucher from Viator that was clear to be used as the ticket for the bus. They asked us to cancel the Viator trip and pay them instead. We told them we could not because the tour already started. They made us get off the bus unless we would pay them the $118.00USD in addition to what we paid. It wasted half our say in Tokyo plus taxi expenses. Viator looks like they will refund us, but there was lots of drama for what was supposed to be a fun on and off ride. TOO BAD
