We had a great time tasting all these various sake flavors, accompanied by local specialties from the region of the brewery in Ibaraki Prefecture. We were guided by Ayaka-san, who not only had great energy and passion but also explained every step of how sake is made from scratch. The videos from the brewery that were shown to us were also interesting and informative.
In the end, we even received a bottle for pouring sake and some cups. We truly had a great time and have already recommended this experience to some friends who will be coming to Japan very soon.

Really wonderful learning experience. The team spent the time to explain sake and the importance of the drink in Japanese culture. We tried a wide range of sakes and learned to appreciate each one. Absolutely recommend!

Wonderful sake tasting experience. Very informative, convenient to Ginza, and thorough explanation of Sake history and culture from a local sake 140 year old, family owned business.

Really enjoyed this sake tasting in a historic brewery. The tasting chart made it easy (and fun) to understand the differences between the sakes, and the local food pairings were a nice bonus. Yaya was a great host, super friendly, easy to understand, and her English is very good. The certificate and souvenirs were a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend.

This experience was amazing from start to finish. Tasting incredible sake in a historic brewery made it feel truly special! Alongside learning how to analyze the flavors, it was also fascinating to learn about the history and cultural significance of sake.
The experience included four kinds of sake to taste. Upon completion of the class, I received a Casual Sake Master Class Certificate and lovely souvenirs, including an ochoko and tokkuri, such a perfect way to end the experience!

I loved learning that sake in Japan isn’t just a drink, but something sacred and deeply cultural.
The sake from Kahoku Brewery was amazing, and meeting the brewer, Mr. Saito, made the experience even more special.
Thank you for the wonderful souvenir too!
Highly recommended for anyone interested in authentic Nihonshu!

I realized I had misunderstood what “good sake” really meant. I always thought the best sake was sweet and fruity—but that was a misconception, and a little embarrassing to admit.
This class helped me discover that I actually prefer sake with lower alcohol, gentle acidity on the palate, and a smooth, rounded finish. It sent me on a personal journey to find my perfect sake.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in understanding sake on a deeper level.

This was my first sake tasting tour, and the experience completely changed how I taste and think about sake.
Yaya is an amazing guide who makes sake easy and fun to understand. The tasting chart was fun and easy to follow, and the certificate and ochoko were great souvenirs. This was one of the best experiences I had, and I would highly recommend this tour!

Both sake and class were incredible. If I hadn’t joined this experience, I would never known the Daigo Town is home to such amazing sake and food. Next time, I definitely want to join their brewery tour. The souvenir we received was also adorable - I’ll use it every time I drink sake and remember this class.

Hosted by a historic sake brewary, which is pretty rare, so I decided to join and I'm really glad I did.
We learned about the brewer's philosophy, the sake making process, and the cultural meaning of sake in Japan.
The tasting was great, I bought my favorite bottle, and can't wait to use the ochoko and tokkuri we received. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic sake experience
