A beautiful day in Kamakura with guide Angie

We had a day trip from Tokyo to Kamakura and it was a great experience. Our guide Yukko (Angie) picked us up at the hotel and took us for a full day experience of the ancient town of Kamakura with its beautiful Shrines and Temples, parks and busy shopping streets and breathtaking views. We couldn’t wish for a better guide: Angie is very knowledgeable, caring and attentive. She gave us a very good insight into Japanese tradition and culture and even a little introduction into the structure of the Japanese language. She answered every question we had. She also pointed a great place for lunch- a very cosy small restaurant with excellent traditional Japanese food. We highly recommend this tour and this wonderful guide.

The big Buddha is an amazing sight even though I have seen it several times. Never stops to amaze. Our guide, Anji, was superb. She was very informative and was aware of our physical condition. The heat and humidity made the walking very tiring.
